Elektrischer Heizapparat.
Electric heater. It is known in electrical heating and cooking apparatus, in which in a closed boiler of the liquid-surrounded electrodes serve as a heating resistor are provided, communicating with the boiler to connect an escape vessel, in which the irritant fluid exit after reaching a predetermined boiler temperature can, whereby the effective electrode surface and thus the heating power is reduced. becomes. It is also known to connect adjustable valve means to the bypass vessel, the setting of which means that the desired boiler operating temperature can be determined.
For these purposes, the generated heating power can also be set to a desired value by adjusting a regulating slide during operation.
According to the present invention, there is an electric heating apparatus in which an electrode boiler is communicating with. is connected to a counterpressure vessel, characterized in that the air space of the counterpressure vessel is provided with a heating device. This makes it easy to regulate the boiler output, in particular if an electrical resistance heating device is installed in the air space mentioned.
Such a heating device can under certain circumstances be controlled as a function of the electrode current.
The subject matter of the present invention will now be explained with reference to the accompanying drawing, which shows two examples of embodiments in 3ehemal: i- seher representation.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, 1 denotes the electrode chamber, 2 the counter-pressure vessel and 3 the line connecting the two vessels 1, 2 to one another. A completely closed pipe system is connected to the electrode chamber I. The one connection part is designated by 7. The two vessels mentioned form communicating vessels. In the electrode chamber 1, the electrodes 4 are housed in a manner known per se and provided with corresponding power supplies 5.
A heating device, in the present case an electrical heating resistor 6, is built into the counterpressure vessel 2. The current in this resistor 6 can be known from per se and not shown in the drawing. The means presented are regulated and the volume of the air cushion in the counter-pressure vessel can thereby be optionally set.
Depending on this volume, more or less liquid is pressed out of the counter pressure vessel 2 into the electrode chamber 1, thereby changing the performance of the electrode vessel. It is also possible to use a regulating device to regulate the electrical heating power of the counter-pressure vessel 2 as a function of the electrode current.
Such a regulation of the heating power of the resistor 6 is, for example, a matter of keeping a predetermined electrode current, the value of which is adjustable, constant, so that the heating current in the resistor 6 decreases when this value is exceeded and when this value is not reached increases. The like acting control circuits are known per se and are therefore not be written here.
2 shows an electrode tank, which in turn has an electrode chamber 1, a counter-pressure vessel 2, 2 'and an electrical heating device of the latter. As can be seen, in this case the counterpressure vessel is divided into a part 2 which receives the liquid and surrounds the electrode chamber 1, and a second part 2 'which receives the heating resistor 6.
In this case, too, the air above the liquid level of the counterpressure vessel 2 and in the vessel 2 'is heated to a greater or lesser extent by the heating device 6 and is there changed by the output of the boiler.
The ratio of the vapor space in the electrode chamber 1 to the air space in the counter-pressure vessel is expediently chosen so that no excessively great vapor pressure can arise in the heating space.
The heating device can be arranged both inside and outside the air space. The vessel 2 in Figure 1 is advantageous in the part filled with liquid. divided into several vessels in order to reduce the reaction of hot water from vessel 1. In this case, for example, a vessel would be built into the line 3, which prevents the circulation of water.
