Fig. 3 dasselbe in der Seitenansicht.

Cradle bed with automatic drive.
The periodic change in the position of sick people during the healing process plays a considerable role in certain cases of illness.
The subject of the invention is a cradle bed which has a drive device which sets the bed in rocking motion, and an automatic control device which periodically interrupts the rocking motion by resting pauses, with both the oscillation time of the rocking motion and the duration of the rest pauses being adjustable on the control device .
An embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG.
The cradle bed 1 with the circularly curved runners 2 runs in the U-shaped guide rails 3 which are attached to the base plate 4 and connected to one another. In order to prevent the clubs from sliding in the guide rails, they are each provided on both sides with a rope a, which is attached to the runner on the one hand and to the guide rail on the other. The device with the pull cables 6 and 7 leads to the drive crank 8 with the cams 9 and 10, which executes a Pcnddbewegung, to which the pull cables are attached. The drive crank 8 sits on the shaft of the motor 11. The control device 12 regulates the oscillation time of the rocking movement, the length of the pause and the direction of rotation of the crank 8.
The engine 11 is provided with a reduction gear.
Fig. 2 shows another embodiment in longitudinal view and
3 shows the same in side view.
On the fixed substructure 1 there is the rotatably mounted shaft 2, which extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis and to whose flange-like bulges 3 distributed over the entire shaft length the bed that performs a rocking movement is attached. The drive motor 5 transmits its power through its shaft 6 to the crank disk 7 or the connecting rod 8, which takes over the drive of the bed 4 through the gel mechanism 9. The rotor 5 and also the control device 10 are located below the substructure, where they are housed in a sound-insulating box 11 that is good at insulating against other influences.
The springs 12 attached to the substructure 1 serve to absorb bumps which the bed suffers from any movements of the patient, and thereby at the same time to protect the motor and the drive elements.
PATENT CLAIM:
Cradle bed, characterized in that it has a drive device which sets the bed in a rocking motion, and an automatic control device which periodically interrupts the rocking motion by resting pauses, the oscillation time of the rocking motion and the duration of the pauses being adjustable on the control device.
