Method for operating an absorption refrigeration apparatus working with auxiliary gas and device for carrying out the method. The subject of the present misconception is. a method for operating an absorption chiller working with auxiliary gas, the condenser of which is arranged in a refrigerator shaft, which is flowed through by air preheated by the absorber, and a device for performing the method.
The one according to the present invention differs from known methods in that the tubular condenser is cooled by the air flow enclosed by it by means of cooling fins projecting into the latter.
According to the invention, a device with a tubular condenser arranged in an apparatus space formed as a shaft above the absorber is used to carry out the method. This device is characterized in that the condenser provided with cooling ribs is arranged in the air flow of the cooling air rising through the shaft and preheated by the absorber and encloses part of the cooling air flow with its tube parts which are at least by tube diameter apart.
Embodiments of the subject invention are described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 and 2 show a first exemplary embodiment schematically, FIGS. 3 and 4 individual parts of a further exemplary embodiment, FIGS. 5 to 8 show schematic representations of detailed variants. The method according to the invention is also explained, for example, on the basis of the exemplary embodiments.
According to Fig. 1 and 2, the auxiliary gas, for. B. hydrogen, working absorption refrigeration apparatus in the refrigerator shaft on a cooker 70 which is installed in a suitably containing a heat insulating material, not shown sheet metal box.
From the digester, the digester vapors are conducted through the line 11, the water separator 12, which consists of a pipe inclined to the horizontal, and through a condenser pipe 45 into the condenser coil 13, which is air-cooled by means of cooling fins 48 which are arranged at the same distance from one another, where the refrigerant is liquefied and passes through the liquid seal 14 (FIG. 1) and the line 15 (FIG. 2) by inherent gravity into the room cooler 16 of the apparatus provided within the schematically illustrated insulation 40 of the refrigerator.
From the room cooler, the liquid refrigerant flows down through the evaporator coil 33, which is expediently designed as a deep freezer, and non-evaporated refrigerant passes through line 17 into the outer tube of the gas temperature changer 18. In general, liquid refrigerant is completely evaporated here. Any further residues can run off through the line 19 into the reservoir 20 containing the absorbent.
The absorption solution flows from the memory 20 through the inner tube 22 of the liquid temperature changer 23, which is preferably also installed in a non-dargestell th insulation box, to the pump tube 24, which pumps the solution up to the digester level in a known manner. The solution, which is poor in refrigeration, flows from the cooker through line 25, the outer tube of the temperature changer 23 and line 26 into the upper mouth of the air-cooled absorber 21, which is designed as a pipe coil.
With 30 a so-called pressure vessel of known type be distinguished, which is filled with auxiliary gas at low condensation temperatures, at high temperatures with refrigerant vapors and which communicates through lines 31 and 32 with line 19 and condenser 13 ..
The gas temperature changer 18 protrudes in the usual way in part into the cooling frame of the cabinet, so that only the right end protrudes from the insulation in the apparatus. This end is provided with a sheath 27 through which the poor auxiliary gas flows, likewise enclosing part of the line 19 and communicating with the absorber 21 through line 29. After flowing through the envelope 27, the poor auxiliary gas flows in the usual way through the inner tubes of the gas temperature changer to the evaporator.
The purpose of flushing the end of the gas temperature changer protruding into the apparatus with auxiliary gas is to prevent water vapor from the atmosphere from condensing on the relatively cold surface of the changer, which can lead to corrosion of this and neighboring apparatus. If necessary, the casing 27 can also enclose the part of the changer that is in the insulation.
-The various parts of the apparatus, e.g. B. are connected together by welding, are also attached to an appropriate frame 41 made of angle iron, preferably also by welding. This frame can also be used to attach the insulation box, not shown, of the cooker and to attach the outer clothing 42 of the refrigerator, made of sheet metal, cardboard or the like. This cladding of the two side walls is extended to the rear and connected to the frame, so that the open, shaft-like apparatus space is created, which is formed by the rear insulation wall of the device and by the rear lengthened outer cladding of the side walls.
The width of this apparatus space is determined by the width of the refrigerator, the depth depends on the thickness of the stove insulation or on the distance between the rearmost edge of the absorber cooling ribs and the rear wall.
In the upper part of this apparatus space there is the water separator 12, the condenser tube 45 and the condenser tube 13. The condenser tube 45 is arranged in such a way that the upper edge of the cooling fin package protrudes at least 5 cm over the top of the cooling air duct. The upper part of the apparatus room and the apparatus parts arranged in it are designed in such a way that the flow resistance in the upper part of the shaft without a condenser is no more than a quarter of the flow resistance of the condenser.
In the lower part of the apparatus room, the absorber 21 with the storage below it is rather 20, the cooker 10 with the pump tube 24 and the liquid temperature changer 23. Cooker 10 and absorber 21 are provided side by side. The pipe coil parts of the absorber 21 run approximately in the horizontal direction. The pipe coil provided with cooling fins 50 is dimensioned with regard to the diameter and length of the pipe and the size of the cooling fins in such a way that the cooling surface per unit length is smaller than that of the condenser.
The steam rectified in the water separator 12 initially flows through the condenser tube 45, which is arranged in the same, inclined plane as the rectifier tube and forwards the steam into the condenser coil 13.
The water separator 12 and the condenser tube 45 carry common cooling fins 47, fewer in number and at a greater distance from one another than the condenser coil. As can be seen from FIG. 2, these ribs have on the side of the water separator tube 12 a semicircular part and on the other side a rectangular part with a larger surface than that of the semicircular part. This shape of the ribs cools the condenser tube more than the "water separator".
The condenser is preceded in the cooling air flow by the air-cooled absorber 21, the cooling fins 50 of which, as FIG. 2 shows, extend over the entire depth of the Schaelite. The condenser coil 13 encloses with 1.5 turns a portion of the cooling air rising through the shaft and preheated by the absorber.
Since the cooling fins are evenly distributed on the condenser length 13 and extend over the entire depth of the apparatus space, a chimney effect arises within the windings, which sucks in the cooling air rising from the absorber 21 even if there is no rear cover plate from the outside significant quantities of cold air are sucked in. The latter would make the increasing air flow heavier and therefore slow it down. The pipe sections of the condenser coil are spaced several times the pipe diameter.
The cooling fins of the condenser have a greater width than height.
The absorber 21 could also be designed without cooling ribs, whereby the air resistance in the lower part of the shaft would be even lower, so that the draft could possibly increase despite the lower heating in the shaft.
To the side of the cooling fins of the condenser for a long distance 13 guide plates 49 are provided, which have a greater length than the cooling fins.
3 and 4, an embodiment is shown schematically, for example, in which the water separator 12 is designed as a U-tube without cooling fins, the resistance of which is particularly small against the cooling air. The designations correspond to those of Fig. 1 and 2. The two legs of the U-tube have an inclination to the horizontal plane against the direction of flow of the digester vapors, so that they drain after the digester.
The condenser coil 13 is assembled from three straight tubes, which are connected by drawn tube pieces 51 and 52 of larger diameter, e.g. B. by welding, are connected to each other. The three straight tubes lie in a plane that is inclined to the horizontal, as shown in section in FIG. 6. Here, too, the cooling fins 48 of the condenser are wider than they are high.
5 to 8, the order from the air-cooled parts is shown schematically. According to FIG. 5, a condenser tube and a condenser coil are provided, as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. The arrangement according to FIG. 6 corresponds to the embodiment of FIGS. 3 and 4 with regard to the capacitor design.
According to FIG. 7, the condenser expediently consists of a U-tube with approximately horizontal legs that are parallel to each other and lie in different vertical and horizontal planes. The water separator 12 consists of a straight pipe without cooling fins, which is arranged over one leg of the condenser.
The water separator 12 could, however, as shown in FIG. 5, be arranged in the air shaft outside the vertical planes through the condenser tubes, specifically preferably on the outside of the air shaft. It could also be arranged between the condenser and the absorber 21, as shown in FIG.
The further preheating of the condenser cooling air caused by the water separator can possibly be more than compensated for by increasing the air speed. In order to take into account the more preheated cooling air, a special condenser tube 53 according to FIG. 8 can be provided, which is designed without cooling fins in order to keep the air resistance in the upper shell part low. If you want to provide this condenser tube with cooling fins, it is useful, for.
B. to pull through every third cooling rib of the lower condenser part to the upper condenser part. This could accordingly also be provided in the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 5 to 7 from the lower to the upper condenser part and / or water separator.
