Description

  

  Procédé pour la préparation d'une matière plastique.    La présente invention a pour objet un  procédé pour la. préparation d'une matière  plastique nouvelle, du type aminoplaste.  



  Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on  fait réagir de la     vinyl-diaminotriazine    avec  du formol, en milieu légèrement alcalin, puis       poursuit    la condensation en milieu acide.  



  <I>Exemple:</I>  On chauffe au bain-marie pendant 1 heure,  au     pli    8, une mole de     vinyl-diaminotriazine          (obtenue    par exemple par action de     dieyan-          diamide    sur le     maléate    d'éthyle et d'ammo  nium, puis saponification) avec 4 moles de  formol. Lorsque la dissolution est complète,  on ajoute 0,2 mole d'acide chlorhydrique et  chauffe encore pendant 10 minutes. On éva  pore ensuite dans le vide le formol en excès,  puis sèche à l'étuve à 60  C. Le     eondensat    ob  tenu peut être durci par chauffage à 135  C    pendant 3 heures. La matière obtenue est       moulable    à 155  C et thermodurcissable.

   Elle  est insoluble dans l'eau, les alcools, les hy  drocarbures aliphatiques ou aromatiques.  Dans la     pyridine,    elle gonfle légèrement, sans  se dissoudre.
