Fig.4 zeigt. eine Variante.
An Stelle einer Batterie kann natürlich auch ein Transformator als Stromquelle vorgesehen und der Glühkörper Gegenüber der Gaseintrittsstelle um 120 ver setzt sein. Der übliche, dem Brenner 1 zugeord nete und an der Vorderwand 15 des Gas herdes angeordnete Drehgriff 14 zum Öffnen und Schliessen des die Gasleitung 3 beherr schenden Gashahnes 5 dient gemäss vorlie- g r e nc ler Erfindung zugleich;
Gas igniter for stoves and ovens, in particular cooking stoves. The invention relates to a gas ignition device for stoves and ovens, in particular cooking stoves, which is characterized in that an incandescent body fed by a power source is arranged in the interior of the burner in the vicinity of the outflowing gas, in whose circuit one of the burner associated rotary handle controlled contact is located.
In the drawing, Ausführungsbei are games of the gas ignition device, applied to a gas stove, shown.
Fig.1 shows the first embodiment in a schematic representation, while Fig.2 shows a plan view of the switch part of FIG.
FIG. 3 shows, on the one hand, the movement diagram of the rotary handle for opening the throttle valve and for switching the valve body on and off, while, on the other hand, the movement diagram for closing the throttle valve is shown.
Fig.4 shows. a variant.
According to the embodiment shown, an incandescent element 4 in the form of an incandescent filament is arranged outside the flame area at the inlet la of the gas mixture of a normal gas burner 1, which is connected to the gas line 3, and thus remains protected from high temperatures. The incandescent body 4 is. Connected via an electrical line 4ca to a battery 13 and a pair of contacts 12 connected in series. The line 4a can, for. B. be drawn in the gas inlet pipe 2.
Instead of a battery, a transformer can of course also be provided as a power source and the incandescent body opposite the gas inlet point can be set by 120 ver. The usual twist grip 14, which is assigned to the burner 1 and is arranged on the front wall 15 of the gas stove, for opening and closing the gas tap 5 dominating the gas line 3 serves at the same time according to the present invention;
for switching the incandescent body circuit on and off. To this end, the shaft 6 of the rotary handle 11 is rotatable and axially displaceable in a bearing sleeve 6ca in the guide piece 10c. In the direction of the axial displacement, the shaft 6 of the rotary handle 14 is under the influence of a spring 7 in the sleeve 6a. The spring is striving to be. To always push the shaft 6 and thus the rotary handle 14 out of the sleeve 6a.
On the shaft 6 of the rotary handle 14, a disk 16 is fixedly arranged, which reaches the area of the contact pair 12 when the shaft 6 is axially displaced.
Furthermore, a transverse pin 9 is arranged on the axis 6, which both in a longitudinal slot of the bearing sleeve 6ca. as well as in a guide 10 of a guide piece 10a ge leads.
The guide 10 is used for the positive control of the shaft 6 to open the gas tap 5 and simultaneous switching on and off of the incandescent body circuit through the contact pair 12. Furthermore, the guide 10 is also used to control the closing process of the gas tap 5.
In Fig. 2, the guide 10 of the pin 9 and the shaft 6 is illustrated even more clearly.
To open the gas tap 5, the rotary handle 14 is first pushed axially against the action of the spring 7 in the direction of the arrow P1 into the sleeve 6a until the pin 9 strikes the point 9a (Fig. 2). In Fig. 3 this displacement movement is shown by the distance El 13. During this sliding movement, the disk 16 presses on the pair of contacts 12 and closes the electrical circuit of the incandescent body 4.
If the rotary handle 14 is now rotated in the direction of arrow P2 until the guide pin 9 has reached the point 9b, and thus the path B-0 (Fig. 3) is covered, the gas tap 5 is opened by this rotation that some gas flows out, which mixes with the air flowing in through the gas inlet pipe 2, after which the mixture is ignited by the glowing body 4. First, that is, during the ignition period, combustion takes place inside the burner, the dimensions of the gas inlet pipe 2 being dimensioned so that it is difficult for the flame to flash back. The gas tap 5 is in this position 9b or
C of the pin 9 just opened as much as is needed for ignition.
After the ignition has taken place, the rotary handle 14 is now released, whereby the shaft 6 is pushed back again axially as a result of the guidance of the pin 9, while releasing the spring 7 (distance C-D in FIG. 03). Then the rotary handle is rotated further in the direction of arrow P2 to position E (Fig. 3). This position corresponds to the largest flame.
As soon as more gas flows through the pipe 3 into the burner when the tap is turned from the position D against the position E, the flame will, as the inventor has shown, from the air-gas flowing through the gas inlet pipe 2 Mixture, the speed of which is greater at this point than at the moment of ignition, from the burner space la. pushed to the outside by the burner opening lines 1c, the cross-section of which must not be chosen too small, and burns. then at the mouth of the burner openings 1c as a useful flame.
If the flame is to be reduced in size, the switch knob 14 is turned further until the position F is set according to the smallest flame. In this position (F), in the example shown, the gas mixture no longer enters the burner at 1a, but at 1b. The diversion takes place via the usual three-way lounges 5.
During the shift back from the position 9b or C to D, before which the ignition took place, the Seheibe 16 is released from the contact pair 12 again and the circuit is interrupted. The incandescent body 4 is thus switched on only during a short part of the movement path of the rotary handle 14 when the rotary knob is operated quickly.
When the cock 5 is closed, the movement of the rotary handle is controlled by another guide track in that the rotary handle 16 is simply turned back into the starting position against the direction of the arrow P2. (from P to A, Fig. 3). In this position the cock 5 is completely closed again. For the closing movement of the cock, the guide pin 9, which is constantly pressed against the surface 10e by the spring 7, bypasses the bypass D-C-B-_1. In this way the operation is for.
Closing the tap more convenient. The electrical circuit is then not switched on again when it is closed, which reduces the wear and tear on the incandescent body and the power source.
A beveled pin 11 is resiliently displaceable across the straight guide 10d in the guide piece 10a. The bevel of the pin 11 is arranged so that when the tap 5 is opened or the circuit is switched on and off, the rotary handle is forced to run through the path ABCD and cannot be turned directly into the guide 10d . When turning back the rotary handle 14 from the full burning position F to the closed position A, the. Dodge pin 11, however.
In the guide 10c a stop pin 8 is provided. When the guide pin 9 strikes the fixed pin 8, the gas tap 5 is completely closed.
The effect and advantage of the gas ignition device is that when the gas tap is opened, the gas entering the burner 1 is automatically ignited in a forced movement of the rotary handle 14 by switching the incandescent body 4 on and off. In addition, in the end position, the gas tap is secured against unintentional opening when cleaning the cooker, etc.
Another advantage is that the arrangement of the incandescent body inside the burner and thus., With. Except for the short ignition period, outside the area of the flame, there is no longer a complicated mechanism which would otherwise have to return the incandescent body to the area of the flame up to the moment of ignition and again after ignition.
Of course, an incandescent body 4, but only one power source is seen for several burners of a gas stove for each burner. The individual circuits of the incandescent body and associated contacts 12 are simply connected in parallel to the power source 13 in the case of several burners.
According to a variant (FIG. 4), the cover plate 17 of the gas range, which is provided with a recess 17a for receiving the gas regulating handle, is equipped with further boreholes 19 into which pins 20a of a plate 20 engage. This plate 20 is attached to the shaft of the handle 18 and is under pressure from a spring 21 which tries to push the pins 20 a into the bores 19. Below the plate 20 Fe-reducing contacts 23 are arranged.
To open the gas tap, the handle 18 must first be pressed in the direction of the arrow P3 against the spring action and then in the direction of the arrow P; be twisted. The circuit is closed via the contacts 23 and the incandescent body (not shown) ignites the gas. After ignition with the gas tap open, the contact is interrupted at the moment you let go of the handle 18, since the pins 20a engage in the bores under the pressure of the spring 21.
