Description

Handlebar grip for cycles. The present invention relates to glüclon grips for bicycles, motorcycles and cycles in general. These handles, generally made of thermoplastic resin or other moldable material, are bonded in place using adhesive materials, but it is found that in practice they are easily detached. under the action of oic shocks of atmospheric chains. They are also relatively fragile.

In order to ensure a firm and permanent fixation, and to increase their strength, the following handles. the invention are provided internally with a metal frame embedded in the material during the molding. This frame is advantageously made up of a metal mesh which, while reinforcing the handle, will ensure effective and irremovable contact with the tube of the gui don.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is an exterior view, FIG. '? a longitudinal section along the line: 1-B of FIG. 1 and fig. 3 an end view <the handle. As shown in fig. 2, in the handle 1 in synthetic resin is embedded, during molding, the metal mesh 2 which is intended to come into contact with the handlebar tube and to ensure, by its rough surface, a good grip on the latter .

The lattice is preferably made of wire or aeier, so chie la. oxide layer that will be formed under the action of atmospheric agents will help to make the bond unbreakable.
