Description
Rohrverbindung.
Pipe connection. The lines made of ceramic and other material are usually joined by means of a sleeve and connected with a hard sealing material. This connection is often inadequate because. the sealing material is not always distributed over the entire extension of the connecting joint; The joints are inadequately compressed, especially on the inside of the lines.
The present invention makes it possible to overcome these disadvantages. It relates to a pipe connection in which a socket engages over a pipe end and the space between the socket and the pipe end is filled with a sealing compound, with the joint between the socket and the pipe end or
in the immediate vicinity of the same a cutout is present, which is closed with a removable cover laid in sealing material, the cutout allows the connection joint between the socket and pipe end on the inside to seal ver -the pipeline. This creates indentations and outstanding sealing compounds that reduce the conductivity of the.
Rohres: impair, on, the large connecting joint avoided. These disadvantages are negligible for the cutout, if it is dimensioned sufficiently small; In the case of horizontal pipes, they play no role at all if the Ai: s-cut is on the upper side of the pipe that is not in contact with the; comes, is located.
After the compression has been carried out, the cut-out is closed by a cover that is laid in sealing material. It can be removed at any time in order to re-compact the connection joint if necessary. The cutout can be z. B. at the end of the pipe in, near the socket or on the socket itself.
The latter solution ensures better compression, because the connection joint is through the cutout. is visible.
The drawing shows in F'ig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a pipe connection with a cutout at the pipe end near the socket and in Fig. 2 'a longitudinal section through a pipe connection with a cutout on the socket itself. Pipe end 1 and socket 2 are connected to each other at the joint. At: the end of the pipe or in the socket there is cutout 4, which is closed with the cover 5:
