Ce fermoir est caractérisé par un verrou eoulissant transversal monté sur l'une des extrémités du bracelet et destiné<B>à</B> coopérer avec un trou<B>de</B> même diamètre que le ver rou que présente, l'autre extrémité.
Le dessin annexé représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du fermoir faisant l'objet de l'invention.

Dans la ferme d'exécution représentée, le fermoir est monté sur un bracelet compre- itant des chaînons centraux<B>1</B> et latéraux 2 assemblés entre eux par des goupilles<B>3</B> chas sées dans les extrémités des chaînons latéraux et pivotant dans celles des chaînons centraux.
Le bracelet se, termine<B>à</B> une extrémité par un chaînon central -dont<B>le</B> trou de gou pille est agrandi, en 4, et présente une sortie #D radiale<B>à</B> plus étroite.

Le mode d'utilisation<B>de</B> ce fermoir est le suivant: On enfile le chaînon central terminant l'une des extrémités sur la goupille fixe<B>8</B> de l'autre extrémité, l'ouverture<B>5</B> étant légère ment plus large que le diamètre de cette goupille. Puis on enfile le tube 6 en appuyant sur la tête<B>7.</B> Le diamètre extérieur de ce tube est légèrement inférieur<B>à</B> celui du trou agrandi 4.
Pour ouvrir le fermoir, on retire complè tement la tête<B>7</B> et l'on peut décrocher le bra- cel,et.
L'avantage de ce fermoir est de pouvoir se manipuler aussi bien lorsque le bracelet est porté dans un sens que lorsqu'il est porté dans<B>le</B> sens opposé. La tête<B>7</B> permet de re pérer instantanément la position du -verrou. Ce dernier pourra aussi être massif et pré- ,s#enter deux parties de diamètres différents.
