Description
Verpackung, insbesondere f r Schokolade.
Fig. 1-3 zeigen perspektivische Teilansichten einer Verpackung f r Schokolade in verschiedenen Herstellungsstufen.
Packaging, especially for chocolate.
The previously known packagings, especially for chocolate, have the disadvantage that they are not tight despite being folded.
This means that foreign smells, atmospheric oxygen, moisture, impurities and sparkling wine can get into the chocolate and change it more or less disadvantageously. On the other hand, if the chocolate is exposed to higher temperatures, melted chocolate or cocoa fat can flow out and make the package unsightly.
According to the present invention, these disadvantages are to be remedied in that the packaging has a casing made of metal foil, the longitudinal edges of which lie on top of one another, are connected to one another, lay flat and are folded on the front sides together with the front side edges. connected in such a way that a hermetic seal is achieved.
The metal foil is expediently covered with a thermoplastic material, and the connection of the longitudinal edges and the front side edges is carried out by hot-glueing and advantageously by embossing.
On the accompanying drawing is a. Exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown.
1-3 show perspective partial views of a packaging for chocolate in various stages of manufacture.
Figure 4 is a bottom plan view of the package, and
5 is a section through two edges lying on top of one another and connected by hot glueing and embossing.
It denotes 1 a chocolate bar and 2 a sleeve for packaging the bar 1. This envelope 2 consists of a metal foil coated on the inside with thermoplastic plastic, e.g. B. aluminum foil with a, em coating of a plastic based on polyvinyl, z. B. polyvinyl acetate or polyvinyl chloride, or aluminum foil with a coating of nitrous or acetyl cellulose for sealing and a thermoplastic coating based on polyvinyl for bonding.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, during the manufacture of the packaging, the casing 21 is first placed around the panel 1 like a hose, the longitudinal edges 3 coming to rest on one another. These edges 3 are firmly connected to one another at 4 by hot glueing and embossing (FIG. 5) and then folded flat (FIG. 2). The narrow side edges 5 and an adjacent edge part of the upper and lower sides are then folded inward on the two front sides (FIGS. 2 and 3). The remaining upper edge part 6 is then folded down onto the lower edge part 7 (FIG. 3), whereupon the edge parts lying flat on top of one another on both end faces are firmly connected to one another by glueing and embossing at 8.
Then the folded and embossed front side edges are folded over onto the underside of the packaging, as can be seen from FIG.
A hermetic seal is achieved through the packaging described. The layer of thermoplastic. Plastic serves as an adhesive in hot-melt gluing and at the same time ensures that thin metal foils are air-drawn and liquid-stretched as well as increased mechanical strength and therefore remain tight when folded.
As has been shown, this type of packaging offers the chocolate complete protection against the ingress of foreign smells, atmospheric oxygen, fire resistance, impurities and insects; it also protects the printed envelope against stains resulting from melted chocolate.
