Method for regulating the water supply in gas turbine plants and device for carrying out the method. The invention relates to a method for regulating the water supply in gas turbine systems, the compressors of which are equipped with evaporative cooling, and to a device for carrying out the method.
Control devices of the type mentioned are expediently set up in such a way that the working fluid flowing through the compressor does not have a water vapor content at any point in any operating state that is above the saturation limit. The direct measurement of the moisture content of gases that are under increased pressure and temperature cannot be carried out in a technically satisfactory manner.
The moisture content must therefore be determined by indirect measurements. If the temperature of the working medium at the inlet to the compressor and the pressure at the outlet from the. Compressor are known, the final temperature for the compression can be determined mathematically, provided that
that the intermediate cooling brings the state of the working fluid at the cooling point to at least approximately the saturation limit. Based on this knowledge, it is proposed to regulate the amount of water to be supplied during the compression of the working fluid according to the method according to the invention,
the amount of water to be supplied to the compressor in accordance with the temperatures at the inlet and outlet of the compressor. and. adjust the pressure at the compressor outlet. This control is expediently carried out in such a way that the amount of Wanseer to be fed to the compressor is set in accordance with the temperature at the compressor outlet.
that a setpoint for the temperature is maintained, which is set not only according to the temperature at the inlet of the compressor, but also according to the pressure at the outlet of the same.
The inventive device for performing the proposed method has one sensor each for the temperatures at the inlet and the outlet of the compressor and a sensor for the pressure at the outlet of the compressor, which jointly control a control device for the water to be supplied to the compressor.
The method according to the invention is explained by way of example below with reference to the drawing. Fig. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of the device suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows in detail the control device of the system according to FIG.
3 and 4 illustrate two details A according to the sections III-III and IV = IV of FIG.
Air, for example from the atmosphere, flows through line 2 to the compressor 1. The passage of the air from the low pressure 3 to the high pressure part 4 of the compressor takes place through a cooling chamber 5 into which water is injected through a nozzle 6. The water is evaporated in the air heated by the compression, whereby its temperature is reduced.
The compressed air, which is loaded with water vapor to close to the saturation limit, is passed through the line 7 from the compressor into the combustion chamber 8,
in which a part is used to burn the fuel supplied by the burner 9 in the combustion chamber 10 and another part is used to cool the combustion gases in the mixing chamber 1'1.
The working medium mixture then flows through the line 12, into the high-pressure turbine 13 and then. through the line 14 into the low pressure tank 15. After relaxation, the work medium passes through line 116 back into the atmosphere.
The low-pressure turbine 15 drives an electricity generator 17 which, for example, supplies traction motors (not shown) of a rail vehicle with energy. The high pressure turbine 13 drives the compressor 1.
To start, the machine group consisting of the high-pressure turbine and compressor is coupled to a starting machine 18, which drives the compressor turbine group with external energy until the
The working medium generated in the combustion chamber is sufficient to continue operating the compressor itself.
With the aid of the fuel pump 19 ', fuel is fed to the burner 9, the amount of which can be adjusted according to the load by the control element 2, 0. By means of the pump 2.1, water is supplied from the line 22 via the lines 23 and 24 to the injection nozzle 6.
The amount of water is adjusted by a regulating device 25. This control device is controlled by the temperature sensor 27 in the inlet line <B> 2 </B> of the compressor 1, by the temperature sensor 2'6 in,
of the outlet line 7 of the compressor 1 and by the pressure sensor 28 connected to the outlet line 7 of the compressor 1. The control device 2,
5 supplied excess amount of water is passed through line 29 back into the supply line 22. The influencing of the device 2'5 by the pulse generator 26-28 takes place via a spring 30, 31 respectively. 3'2, a control device 33, 3 <B>, 1 </B> respectively. 3'5 and a control line 36, 37 respectively. 38.
The two temperature sensors 26 and 27 (FIG. 2) consist of a number of tubes nested one inside the other, one of which alternately has a large temperature expansion coefficient, the other a smaller one. These pipes are connected in series in such a way that:
the difference in expansion of the two types of tubes is summed up and used to change the tension of the springs 3'0 and 31. Through the slide 3'9 and 40, the control devices 3ss and 34, in the control lines 316 respectively. 37 one control pressure each produced,
the tension of the springs 3.01 respectively. 3 @ 1 and thus the temperature influencing temperature sensors 26 and 27 corresponds. The pressure in line 7 is transmitted via line 41 in the pressure sensor 28 formed as a bellows membrane,
which according to the pressure expands to a greater or lesser extent and, so that the tension of the spring 32 changes in line 7 according to det Drackes. The slide 42 of the control device 35 then produces a control pressure approximately proportional to the pressure in the line 7 in the line 38.
The temperature sensor 26 influences the control slide 45 via the control piston 43 and the lever 44. When the temperature in the line 7 rises, the spring 30 is more strongly tensioned by the temperature sensor 216. Corresponding to this higher voltage, the control line 3,6 is set:
higher control pressure, which pushes the piston 4, 3 'and, via the lever 44, the slide 45 downward. Pressure medium can then get into the cylinder space located under the calve 46, as a result of which means. of the piston 46 via the lever 47, the valve 48 of the control element. 49 is increased, the flow rate ', the cross section increases, so that through the line 24:
a larger amount of water is supplied to the cooling chamber of the compressor. This eliminates the increase in temperature that initially initiated the control process.
In order to prevent over-regulation and associated oscillations, the slide 45 and the servometorkoll,
ben 46 having control device equipped with a flexible return. During the regulating process, the piston 46 also pushes the lever 44 via the rigidly connected piston 50 and the towing cylinder 51. The slide 45 is thereby returned to its middle position under the tension of the spring 52,
in which neither the cylinder below nor the cylinder above the piston 46 can flow in pressure medium. The tension of the spring 52 displaces the drag cylinder 51 with respect to the piston 50, displacing the liquid in the cylinder space on one side of the piston 50, via the throttle point 53 into the cylinder space on the other side of the piston.
The whole re control process comes to rest when: the spring 52 has become tension-free again and the slide 45 has returned to its central position. This position is only possible if the temperature in the line 7 has been returned exactly to its uroprünglich setpoint.
A corresponding control process occurs when the temperature of the working means in the line 7 falls. Then the tension of the spring 30 is reduced and likewise the pressure in the control line 3'6. The piston 43 and the slide 45 are raised, the piston 46 and thus also the valve 48 are lowered.
The cross flow rate for the water to be added to the compressor is reduced and the temperature of the working medium is raised to its original setpoint in accordance with the reduced water supply.
The water that is pumped too much by the pump 2.1 can flow back into the supply line 2ss via a spring-loaded valve 54 and through the line 29, so that a constant water pressure is maintained upstream of the valve 4.8 remains. The flow rate then only depends on the size of the flow rate.
The temperature sensor 2,7 influences the shaft 57 via the line 37, the piston 55 and the lever 56 in such a way that its axial position. a direct function of the temperature of the working medium in line 2:
represents. A rise in the temperature in the line 2 causes increased tension in the spring 31, as a result of which an increased control pressure is produced in the line 37. This increased pressure pushes the piston 5, 5 upwards, so that the shaft 57 is displaced in the + direction of the double arrow 58 by means of the lever <B> 516 </B>.
Conversely, a decrease in the temperature in line 2 causes a shift in the direction of arrow 58.
Due to the pressure of the working medium in the line 7, the shaft 52 is rotated via the piston 59, the toothed rack 60 and the toothed piston 61. An increase in the pressure causes the piston 59 and the rack 60 to shift in the direction of arrow 62.
Conversely, it has a decline. of the pressure in the line 7 an increase in the piston. 59 and the rack 60 in the direction of arrow 02 result.
The return plunger 6 @ 4 of the temperature control device is influenced by: the cam 6-3 of the shaft 57 and the plunger 6-6 of a further control device is influenced by the cam 6,5.
Against the cams 6, 3 and 65 (Figs. 2 to 4) the rollers 6: 7 respectively. <B> 68 </B> of tappets 64 and 6: 6 pressed on by means of springs @ 6.9 and <B> 70 </B>.
An increase in the temperature in the feed line 2 (FIG. 2) of the Verdichtens causes a movement of the return plunger 64 in the + direction of the arrow 71.
As a result, the setpoint of the temperature in the line 7 is increased. Conversely, by reducing the temperature in the line 2, the setpoint value of the temperature in the line 7 is reduced as a result of a displacement of the plunger 64 in the direction of the arrow 71.
An increase in the pressure in the Lei device 7 causes rotation of the shaft 57 in the direction of the double arrows 72 and 73 in FIGS. 4. This raises the return plunger 64 and thus increases the setpoint of the temperature. Conversely, by reducing the pressure in the line 7, the shaft 5'7 is displaced in the direction of the double arrows 7 "2 and 73, thereby reducing the setpoint for the temperature in the line 7.
By means of the tappet 66 of the further control device, the slide 75 is influenced via the lever 74. A movement in the -1 direction of the double arrow 761 causes the servomotor piston 77 to rise so that the throughflow cross section released by the valve 4 & is enlarged via the lever 47.
Conversely, a movement of the plunger 06 in the direction of arrow 7: 6 causes a reduction in the cross section released by valve 78. One:
Such an additional increase in the flow cross-section at the valve 48 results when the pressure in the line 7 or the temperature in the line 2 increases. Conversely, there is an additional reduction when the pressure in line 7 falls or the temperature in line 2 decreases.
The shape of the cams 63 and 6'5 is chosen so that at least in the larger part of the entire control range the amount of water to be supplied is set in such a way that the state of the working medium behind the supply point is at least approximately at the saturation limit. The method according to the invention can also be used in stationary gas turbine systems.
