Appareil de prise de vues. Les, objectifs sont géniéraleunent fixés, sur les appa;redls de prise de vues, au moyen d'une monture se vissant dans. une bague filetée :solidaire du corps de l'appareil. Ce mode de fixation, s'il assure une mise en place ri;
Camera. The objectives are generally fixed, on the cameras, by means of a mount screwing into. a threaded ring: integral with the body of the device. This method of fixing, if it ensures an installation ri;
gpure of the objective, does not allow its rapid self-sensitivity when one wishes to modify the field of the shooting by the use of an objective of focal length: approximate prayed.
To allow a faster interclian @ geability of the lenses, various fixing systems have therefore been produced. This is how fastening devices = i, bayonet, buttonholes and ramps, were created,
usually supplemented by a lock to prevent unexpected release of the system. We also conc iiait the mode of attachment comprising a double lock s', engaging in a groove, annular formed .in the, frame.
However, if the bayonet, buttonhole and ramp fixing means allow, thanks to a prior adjustment, to immobilize the objective in a determined angular position around its optical axis, it is not the same for the annular groove system which allows complete rotation of the.
mount between the jaws of the two locks.
The present invention relates to a camera in which the fixing of the objective is. instant.
The apparatus is characterized by a lock consisting of a single bolt hemicirei # rl; aiipe moving in a plane peTpendiculare to the optical axis of the objective and.
c,. 'in ,, s6rant in a countersink made in the tail of the lens mount, countersink limited at its ends by two hooks with biased internal face and diametrically opposed, forming two ramps which ensure the jamming and orientation invariable of the mount on the device.
T1 is therefore remaxquaible that a single element, that is to say the bolt, can constitute snmultaném, ent the fixing member and the orientation means of the a. mount on said device.
In a preferred embodiment, an intermediate ring receiving the objective is fixed in the mount by means of screws, pins which make it possible to give, once: for all., A precise orientation of the objective on the mount.
The attached drawing represents, by way of example, a form of: execution, partial, of the apparatus faisamt'l'abjet de -l'invention.
Fi-. 1- is a view in persspechve of the positive -said lens fixing that has said embodiment.
Fiig. 2 is the rear perspective view lens mount.
Fig. 3 is a section showing .l'action of the lock on the frame.
The camera represented comprises a device for instantaneous fixing of the objective, of which one of the main parts is constituted by a mount (fig. 1 and 2)
which comprises a front scope 1 intended to receive the objective and a tail 2 which must fit into an opening 3, made in the front wall 4 of the camera. This tail 2 is milled on a little more of its half-cimconfereuce:
so as to form two diametrically opposed hooks 5, with an internal face slanting forming a ramp.
In @the front scope 1, a penal colony 6 threaded internally for p: erm: ettre its screwing on the lens not represented.
On the periphery of the ring 6 is made an annular groove 7 in which can engage, after insertion of the ha:
b e j6 in. the bearing 1, .two or three post screws 8 screwed into said bearing and which allow -de blocking. ring, and therefore the lens, in a position such that the inscriptions -which the latter carries are normally visible to the operator.
The other essential part of the fixing device consists of a lock comprising a bolt 9 oscillating about an axis 110 screwed into the front wall 4 of the device.
This bolt can therefore move in: a plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the objective. Its active part - comprises two nozzles hl located on either side of a semicircular opening, the diameter of which is substantially equal to the internal diameter of the shank 2, of the frame so as not to,
intercept them. light rays emanating from lens.
A spring 112 acts on the bolt 9 to push it towards the .monture. Diane ,, this actaio @ n,. The spring therefore engages the bolt in the countersink of the tail 21 of the grinding, but it is necessary, for this, that this one is suitably, oriented and the clogging of the bolt cannot s 'perform only if the two -cro-cs! 5,
are placed on the vertical axis passing through the pïvo-t 110 @du bolt, that is to say, through the line III-III of FIG. 2.
This orientation can be obtained either by rotating the. frame in the opening 3 of the wall 4 until the bolt is fully engaged in the hooks 5, or by providing a tenon 13 on the frame (fig. 2 ) which, by engaging in a mowtaise practiced in the 3i-opening,
only allow the complete insertion of the frame into this opening for the only correct position of the frame.
the engagement of the bolt clans; fangs is accompanied by jamming thanks to the ramp shape given to the internal faces of the fangs, and this, as the shows in fig.-3 on which we see one of the beaks 11 -du bolt 9 to jam the mount in the device.
A pole 1,4, fixed on the bolt and crossing an opening -15 made in the. wall 4, allows the operator to man.noeuver the -pene from the outside of the device, in a direction opposite to the thrust of the spring 15, in order to free it from the hooks 5. and to release it. the lens mount.
It can therefore be seen that the fixing device included in the apparatus shown allows, on the one hand, to adjust once pourr all the orientation of the lens on its individual mount, thanks to the intermediate ring 6 'and , on the other hand, to obtain an insitant fixing of the frame on the device with the action of:
e clamping of the frame - at two diametrically opposed points.
To ensure proper guidance of the bolt 9, it is possible to fix on the wall 4 either a trigger guard, or simple screws, 16, with a cross head and a shoulder, or even any other devices which prevent the bolt from moving away from the pamoi.
In. a variant, the bolt, at. instead of being oscillating, could, for example, be sliding sant -and move like an ordinary latch under Vuetion of a spring inside two slides or a sodidaire trigger guard of the wall 4.
