Einrichtung zur Zahnbehandlung.
Die erfindungsgemässe Einrichtung zur Zahnbehandlnng besitzt eine Saugleitung, welche an einem mit einem Mund, spiegel versehenen Handgriff vorgesehen ist.
Als Teil der Saugleitung wird zweckmässig ein mit einem zahnärztlichen Mundspiegel versehener Handgriff benutzt, wd- cher hierfür als hohler Schaft ausgebildet wird.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungsgegenstandcs veran qehaulicht.
Fig. 1 zeigt das erste Beispiel in Ansicht mit teilweisem Schnitt,
Fig. 2 das zweite Beispiel ebenfalls in Ansicht mii; teilweisem Schnitt.
In Fig. 1 bezeichnet 1 einen hohlen Schaft, welcher den Handgriff für den zahn ärztlicbcn Mundspiegel 2 bildet. Dieser Schaft 1 ist einerends an einen Schlauch 3 angesc.hlossen, welcher mit einer nicht gezeichneten Saugpumpe verbunden ist, die zweckmässig durch eine Rotationspumpe gebildet ist. Über eine kegelförmige Verjün gang 4 geht der Schaft 1 in ein seine e Ver- längerung bildendes, verhältnismässig enges Rohr 5 über, das in einen bogenförmigen Teil 6 mit Mundstück 7 ausläuft. Auf dem geraden Teil des Rohres 5 befindet sich eine Schiebehülse 8, welche ans federndem Material besteht und längsgeschlitzt ist und sich infolge CB : lemmwirkung in ihrer jeweiligen Einstellage auf dem Rohr 5 festhält.
Die Schiebehülse 8 trägt einen vorderen Arm 9, der in einem Kugelkopf 10 endigt, welcher in eine iECugelpfanne 11 auf der Rückseite des Mundspiegels 2 aufgenommen ist, welche Pfanne mittels einer Klemmschranbe 12 zuspannbar ist. Der Mundspiegel 2 besitzt einen Ausschnitt 13 zur Aufnahme des bogenförmigen Endstückes 6 des Rohres 5. Dieser Ausschnitt 13 ist bezüglich seiner Grösse so gewählt, dass eine begrenzte Drehbarkeit bezw. Einstellmöglichkeit des Mundspiegels 2 nach allen Richtungen, je nach Bedarf, um das Kugelgelenk 10, 11 möglich ist; mittels der erwähnten : Klemmschraube 12 lässt sich der Mundspiegel 2 in der jeweiligen Einstelllage in bezug auf den Schaft 1 bezw. den Handgriff des Spiegels fixieren.
Beim Gebrauch der beschriebenen Einrichtung wird der Handgriff 1 in einer solchen Lage gehalten, dass die am Mundstück 7 auftretende Saugwirkung im Bereich der Behandlungsstelle des Zahnes für Wegführzwecke ausgenutzt und dabei mittels des Spiegels 2 zugleich die Arbeit am Zahn beobachtet werden kann. Der Zahnarzt hat hierbei die zweite Hand für die Arbeit frei und benötigt somit weder zur Bedienung der Saugleitung noch des Mundspiegels eine Assistenz.
Während beim beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiel der Mundspiegel 2 so befestigt ist, dass der Ausschnitt 13 sich auf der dem Schaft 1 zugekehrten Seite befindet, ist beim Beispiel gemäss Fig. 2 der Mundspiegel 2 um 1800 ersetzt angeordnet, so dass der bogenförmige Endteil 6 des Rohres 5 von der andern Seite her in den Bereich des Spiegels 2 zu liegen kommt. Bei diesem zweiten Beispiel ist auf der Rückseite des Spiegels 2 der Kugelkopf 10 befestigt, während die mittels der Xleinmschraube 12 zuspannbare Kugelpfanne 11 sich an der längsgeschlitzten Schiebehülse 8 befindet, welche auf dem geraden Teil des Rohres 5 angeordnet ist.
Auf einem zylindrischen Teil des hohlen Schaftes 1 ist hier eine Gleithülse 14 vorgesehen. die mittels Stellschraube 15 in ihrer Einstellage fixiert werden kann. Die Gleit hülse 14 hat einen I(ugelkopi 16, welcher eine mittels Klemmschraube zuspannbare Kugelpfanne 17 eines gebogenen, sogenannten Wangenhalters 18 aufnimmt.
Dieser Wan genhalter lässt sich mit je Hilfe des Kugel- gelenkes 16, 17, je nach Erfordernis, in beliebiger Drehrichtung einstellen, um den hohlen Schaft 1 mit dem Mundspiegel 2 in der gewünschten Lage am Munde des Patienten anbringen zu können; die Einstellbarkeit der Gleithülse 14 längs des Schaftes 1 ermöglicht ein weiteres Anpassen der Lage des, Mundspiegels 2 im Munde des Patienten.
Wie sich aus vorstehenden Darlegungen ergibt, gestattet die beschriebene Einrichtung durch im Bereich des in Behandlung befindlichen Zahnes verursachte Saugwirkung ein anhaltendes Wegführen von infolge me- chanischer Bearbeitung des Zahnes entstehendem Zahnstaub, oder von der Behandlungsstelle des Zahnes zugeführter Spül flüssigkeit, oder von beidem, so dass sich das sonst von Zeit zu Zeit durch den Patienten vorzunehmende Spülen erübrigt, welches verhältnismässig längere Unterbrechungen der Arbeit des Zahnarztes mit sich bringt.

In FIG. 1, 1 denotes a hollow shaft which forms the handle for the dental dental mirror 2. The sliding sleeve 8 carries a front arm 9 which ends in a spherical head 10, which is received in a spherical socket 11 on the back of the oral mirror 2, which socket can be clamped by means of a clamping screw 12. The mouth mirror 2 has a cutout 13 for receiving the curved end piece 6 of the tube 5. This cutout 13 is selected with regard to its size so that a limited rotatability or. Adjustment of the mouth mirror 2 in all directions, as required, around the ball joint 10, 11 is possible; by means of the mentioned: clamping screw 12, the mouth mirror 2 can be in the respective setting position with respect to the shaft 1 respectively. fix the handle of the mirror.

A sliding sleeve 14 is provided here on a cylindrical part of the hollow shaft 1. which can be fixed in its setting position by means of adjusting screw 15. The sliding sleeve 14 has a I (ugelkopi 16, which receives a ball socket 17 of a curved, so-called cheek retainer 18, which can be clamped by means of a clamping screw.
This cheek holder can be adjusted in any direction of rotation with the aid of the ball joint 16, 17, depending on requirements, in order to be able to attach the hollow shaft 1 with the mouth mirror 2 in the desired position on the patient's mouth; the adjustability of the sliding sleeve 14 along the shaft 1 enables the position of the mouth mirror 2 to be further adjusted in the patient's mouth.
As can be seen from the foregoing, the device described allows, through suction caused in the area of the tooth being treated, a sustained removal of tooth dust resulting from mechanical processing of the tooth, or rinsing liquid supplied from the treatment site of the tooth, or both, see above that the rinsing, which the patient would otherwise have to do from time to time, is unnecessary, which entails relatively long interruptions in the work of the dentist.
