Description
Plant for drying webs, such as B. of fabric or paper webs. The invention relates to a plant for drying webs such. B. of fabric and paper webs and those made of loose wool, cotton and the like.
The system is provided according to the invention with means to move the web to be treated, to be irradiated with infrared rays and the blowing with air, for. B. by means of compressed air to suspend.
The system can be designed so that a completely uniform treatment of the web is guaranteed in its entire length and width; Appropriate are to move the web to be dried rotatably Gela Gerte, motorized, z. B. provided by friction, driven rollers, over which the web can be fully spread and guided under any voltage. The web can be stretched loosely or tightly with means known per se, such as guide rollers, clip needles or plate spreaders, etc. The direction of movement can, for. B. be horizontal or vertical.
The infrared rays developing Kör by or lamps can reflectors as such with Re, advantageous parabolic reflectors such. B. made of metal. However, it is advisable to install reflectors on the opposite side of the web and next to the same, in order to also use rays that pass through or by the web. The infrared radiation sources can be arranged in groups at regular intervals. It is also advantageous if the radiation sources are arranged adjustable in relation to their stand from the web.
Means may be provided in order to be able to easily adjust the intensity of the infrared radiation of the Be and the dry state of the respective web to be treated, eg. B. in such a way that when a plurality of infrared sources lying one behind the other in the direction of movement of the web are present, individual or entire groups can be switched on and off at will.
The arrangement of the infrared radiation sources in relation to one another and in relation to the web is expediently chosen so that the irradiation of the web is at least approximately completely uniform at all points.
Advantageously, means are also seen in order to be able to choose the direction in which the infrared rays fall on the material to be dried, as well as means to regulate the conveying speed of the web. On both sides of the web nozzle sets can be arranged, which cold, warm or hot air can be supplied under appropiate pressure, such that the air on and z. B. in the case of a Ge web web at most is blown ge through the web. The nozzles are expediently arranged next to one another at regular intervals, e.g.
B. alternately with the infrared sources, so that the web is evenly blown with air across its width and thereby dried evenly. Appropriately, the nozzles in relation to the stand and direction to the web are adjustable.
The nozzles can be connected to controllable ventilators. Furthermore, means are expediently provided in order to be able to regulate the temperature of the air and its degree of humidity.
The nozzles can be arranged side by side and in rows behind each other at regular intervals. In order to ensure that the web is evenly coated with air over its entire width and thus dried evenly, z. B. the individual nozzles of the successive rows of nozzles laterally against each other ver sets be arranged.
