Description

  Measuring caliber for measuring bores.

The present invention enables bores to be easily measured in the workshop. The measuring caliber according to the invention differs from the already known egg caliber by its significantly larger measuring range.

The caliber according to the invention is based on the 3-point measurement, which is made possible by three radially arranged feeler pins inclined to the caliber axis. They are stored in a cylindrical measuring head.

According to the invention, the measuring head is exchangeable and the advance of the feeler pins in the measuring head is measured by means of a push-button clock connected to the measuring head by a sleeve.

An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.

In the cylindrical MeBkopf 1 three probe pins 2 are superimposed with a slight clearance fit. In the middle of the piston 3 (FIG. 1) and the compression spring 4, the feeler pins 2 and thus the feeler surfaces 5 are pressed outward against the wall of the bore to be measured. The advance of the piston 3 can now be measured by means of a shock-proof button clock 7, which is connected to the measuring head 1 by a tubular extension 6, so that the exact size of the bore can be read off directly on the button clock 7.

With the handle 8, which is guided in a sliding sleeve 9, the piston 3 can be withdrawn, so there. the feeler pins 2 are relieved and the weaker counter-pressure spring 10 becomes effective, so that the feeler pins 2 are pressed back into the measuring head 1. The feeler pins are secured against rotation by cross pins 11.

Fig. 2 shows the view of the Mēkopf from below.

The handling of the measuring caliber is as follows:
The handle 8 is withdrawn, the feeler pins 2 retract into the measuring head 1 under the pressure of the counter-pressure spring 10. Now the measuring head 1 can be moved into the bore to be measured, which of course has to be larger than the measuring head 1. The handle 8 is now released, the feeler pins 2 are pushed outwards and the sensing surfaces 5 are pressed against the wall of the bore. The exact centering of the feeler pin is achieved by slightly adjusting it. The dimension of the hole can then be read off the push-button clock.

The measuring caliber can be checked at any time using a calibrated measuring ring, and the button clock can be easily reset.

The Mēk¯pfe are exchangeable, so that, for example, with one measuring shaft and six measuring heads, all bores from 20 to 50 mm can be measured.
