Potentiometerwiderstand.
Potentiometer resistance. The present invention relates to a potentiometer resistor, the wire winding of which is attached to a winding plate with wire windings running perpendicular to the plate's longitudinal direction. On one side of the plate running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the insulating strips are provided, one of which is inserted under the wire winding, while the other runs over the same and is attached with its ends to the ends of the plate that it is when bending The plate presses against the wire winding and tensions the same.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated, namely Fig. 1 shows a plan view and Fig. 2 is a side view thereof.
Fig. 3 is a cross section on an enlarged scale, Fig. 4 is a second cross section on an enlarged scale ver with the winding in the tensioned state. In the drawing, 5 denotes an insulating, thin and flexible rectangular plate on which a thin wire 6 is wound in such a way that its turns are perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the plate.
At both ends of the plate 5, the wire 6 is connected to tongue-like clamps 7 which are attached to the plate by rivets 8. This winding plate is mounted in a known manner between two end disks of the potentiometer in a cylindrically bent state, so that its inner wound outer surface can be coated by the rotatable wiper of the potentiometer.
In the previous versions of the winding plate, however, it has been shown that the bending over of the plate means that its inner wound surface has lost the required rigidity. This disadvantage is eliminated by the winding tensioning device according to the invention. This clamping device consists of two thin and flexible strips 9 and 10 of insulating material that run parallel to its longitudinal direction on one side of the plate and are arranged in such a way that
that they exert a strong pressure on one side of the inner jacket surface of the wire winding 6 in the bent state of the plate 5. The narrower strip 9 is simply in the manner of a violin bridge between tween the inner surface of the plate 5 and the inner wire layer inserted, while the wider strip 10 is arranged on the outside of this inner wire layer and be at both ends by the rivets 8 on the plate 5 is consolidated. It is readily apparent from FIG. 4 that this strip 10 presses against the inner circumferential surface of the wire winding in the reversed state of the winding plate and tensions this winding.
This ensures an even brushing of the slider on the narrow jacket surface part 6 'of the winding raised by the strip 9 and creates the conditions for the potentiometer to function properly.
