Lamp holder with a cap, a part carrying the power supply contacts for the lamp and the connections for the power supply wires, and a suspension tube attached to the cap. It is known that a lamp holder that has a cap and a power supply contacts for the lamp and the connections for the power supply wires has a part attached to the cap, and a suspension tube within which the power supply wires are located, sometimes 1 the inconvenience ,
that this power supply cord is close to where the suspension tube is attached to the cap. receive a temperature during operation of a lamp in the holder which is higher than the temperature permissible for the insulating material of these wires. As a result, this insulation dries out and crumbles, whereby it usually still remains in the form of small rings around the power supply wires, so that a short circuit does not yet occur. However, as soon as these wires are moved, as z.
B. when cleaning the light in question, 'this has the consequence that the insulation does not stay longer ger, whereby contact between bare parts of the power supply wires with each other or between one or more of these bare parts and the possibly metallic parts of the Cap or the hanger tube, which causes a short circuit. In general, such a short circuit is most likely to occur in those parts of the power supply wires,
which are located inside the suspension tube and near the connecting rails between the cap and this tube, as the temperature is high here and the wires are a short distance from each other and from the tube wall. Inside the cap, the temperature is also high. perhaps even higher, but there is much more space available to accommodate the wires, and due to the location of the wire connections, the wires are in many cases quite a long way from each other and from the wall of the cap.
The lamp elder according to the invention is characterized in that inside the tube, at the end close to the cap, there is a hollow cylindrical body made of insulating material, which is divided into at least two by at least one intermediate wall also made of insulating material. Channels is divided, which run in the longitudinal direction of the tube and which <B> each </B> contain one of the power supply wires.
The hollow, cylindrical body and the partition walls can be made of various insulating materials, such as B. made of synthetic resins or derglei chen, welclie can withstand the occurring temperatures without harmful consequences. As long as the wires are inside the hollow cylindrical body, the possibility of a short circuit is excluded, and in the part of the tube further away from the cap the temperature no longer endangers the insulating material of the wires, so that this tube can be made of metal without hesitation can.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown. The same reference numbers are used for corresponding parts in the various figures.
FIG. 1 is a view of a hollow cylinder-shaped body which forms part of the ruler holder, and FIG. 2 shows a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of this body.
Fig. 3 shows an intermediate wall that can be placed in this hollow cylindrical body, and Fig. 4 is a view of part of a lamp holder in the assembled state.
In the present case, two grooves 92 running in the longitudinal direction are provided in the hollow cylindrical body <B> 1 </B> made of insulating material, into which the intermediate wall <B> 3 </B> fits, the same ifall is made of insulating material. This Z%, isehenwand <B> 3 </B> l'at- "t in the assembled state with the two ends 4 and <B> 5 </B> protruding from the hollow cylindrical body.
The end 4 acts as a barb in relation to the cylinder wall and is, for this purpose, made somewhat wider than the part which fits into the grooves and which has a width a which corresponds to the distance between the grooves. The partition <B> 3 </B> is fixed in the hollow cylindrical body by first inserting the end 4 into the grooves in this body, which thanks to the somewhat elastic properties of the insulating material from which the body and the partition are made, succeeds without much effort. Then the intermediate wall is pressed further until the end 4 protrudes from the body.
Since the end 4 now has a somewhat larger width, pulling back the partition is not easily possible; this can only be done with the help of a suitable designated tool with which the end of the hollow cylindrical body is slightly bent. Without such a recess, the partition can no longer be removed, since the wall is also prevented from being pushed further through the end <B> 5 </B> which has a larger transverse dimension than the body.
This end is designed here in such a way that the inner space of the cap 7 of the lamp holder is divided into two parts which each contain a connection for a power supply wire.
This can be seen from FIG. 4, in which the lamp holder <B> 6, </B> the one cap <B> 7, </B> and the part <B> 8 </B> which the power supply contacts for the Lamp and the connections for the power supply wire <B> 9 </B> and <B> 10 </B> trä-, t, aiif-, veist, as well as a (ler cap <B> 7 </ B > attached suspension tube <B> 11 </B> which is partially shown.
The hollow cylindrical body <B> 1 </B>, in which the intermediate wall <B> 3 </B> is located, its barbed end 4 at the top and its wide end <B> 5, is arranged inside the hanger bracket </B> protrude from the bottom of this body. This lower end <B> 5 </B> has the shape shown in FIG. <B> 3 </B>, which corresponds to the meridian section of the interior of the cap <B> 7 </B>, whereby the inner space of the cap is divided into two parts, <B> en </B> which <B> each </B> contain a connection <B> 1.) </B> for a power supply wire.
The power supply wires <B> 9 </B> and <B> 10 </B> which are coated here with insulating material <B> 13 </B> respectively. 14 are provided, lie separately in one of the channels formed by the intermediate wall in the hollow cylindrical body. These wires can therefore neither touch one another nor the outer wall at the location of the cylindrical body, so that no short circuit can occur there. Even those parts of the wires that are inside the cap cannot touch one another.
If the cap is made of insulating material, the insulating material can be omitted entirely from the point where the wires enter the end of the hollow cylindrical body resting on the cap.
If more than two wires must be liindurchflirt through the suspension tube <B> 11 </B>, which z. This is the case, for example, when a cap is attached to the suspension tube, with which two parts are connected, each of which is used for the power supply contacts for the lamp 5 and the connections e carry the power supply wires for this lamp, i.e. with a lamp holder for two lamps with a common cap, the hollow cylindrical body can be provided with four grooves,
fit into the two partitions so that three channels are created in this body. A common wire can be placed in the central channel, which divides into two parts inside the cap. The other power supply wire for each lamp extends in the outer channels. The wide ends of the two partition walls can be attached at an angle so that each of them looks almost perpendicular to the bottom of the associated lamp holder part. Inside the cap, the part branched off from the middle wire is also insulated from the other power supply wire.
