Image changing device ail a projection apparatus. When projecting images onto a screen, e.g. B. of slides or negatives, a projection device is usually used with a picture changing device in which two or more plates can be accommodated, which are to be brought one after the other into the light path of the device. In the known devices, the plate holders are usually displaced vertically or almost vertically to the optical axis when the image is changed. There are several nacli elements attached to this institution. It can e.g. B. in general there is no question of a gradual image change, nothing is projected for a long time.
Every change of image is initiated by a shift which disturbs the attention of the audience.
The image changing device on a projection apparatus according to the invention eliminates these sewing parts in that it has two plate holders which can be pivoted about mutually parallel axes of rotation, which are arranged perpendicular to the optical axis and outside the light path - and move the pictures.
In the accompanying drawings, two embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically.
In FIG. 1, 0 denotes the optical system of a projection apparatus, in front of which an image changing device is arranged, which holds the plate holder 1 < / B> and 2 with the parallel Dreli axes 3 and 4, which are arranged perpendicular to the optical axis and outside the light path. The holder 1 is provided with a cam 5 on one edge.
If the holder 1 which is not in the Lielltweg is pivoted in the direction of the arrow 6 and brought into the Lielitweg, the cam 5 presses in the The position of the holder 1 against the holder 2. This holder 2 is now removed from the working position in the direction of the arrow 7 .
The further removal of the holder 2 and, when the holder 2 is pivoted back accordingly, also the further removal of the holder 1 from the working position, is effected by the springs 9 and 8 </ B > brought about, which are attached in such a way that they also fix the relevant holder in their working position. When the holders are removed from the working position, they come to rest against the stops 10 and 11 formed by rubber blocks.
The device could also be designed without the cam 5 and the springs 8 and 9 , in which case, of course, manual operation would be more complicated would.
In FIG. 2, 0 again denotes the optical system of a lighting system. The holders 1 and 2 of the device are coupled by means of an articulated rod 12 which are articulated at the points 13 and 14 on the holders 1 and 2 .
The pictures that have been attached in the holder according to FIG. 1, immediately assume the correct position in the light after being rotated.
In both embodiments, the image that is brought into the light path initially throws a very unsharp, blurred image on a screen, which becomes sharper and sharper during the Dreliung and is at full sharpness when the image reaches the working position. During the beginning of this dreling another picture takes the work line and is thus shown sharply. According to FIG. 1, this image is removed from the working position after the cam located on one holder has come into contact with the other holder.
The picture is gradually becoming less sharp. With this device, the images flow into one another, as it were, which makes a pleasant impression on the audience, especially with colored images.
According to Fig. 2, the rotations of the two holders are coupled. As a result of this coupling, the person operating the device gets a little more hands free, which promotes the regular replacement of the images.
The dimensions in FIG. 2 are selected in such a way that the image edges 15 and 16 in each case running parallel to the associated axis of rotation and having the greater distance from it the holders on your screens almost collapse during the change of images. In this way the images do not overlap.
In general, you will get by with two plate holders. It is possible, however, to achieve the advantages of the merging of the images with more than two holders.
