Tragbarer, elektromotorisch angetriebener Apparat.
Stütze 11 in Fig.. 1 entspricht.
Portable, electric motor driven apparatus. The present invention relates to a portable, electric motor-driven. Apparatus, e.g. B. a vacuum cleaner, floor polisher or the like, with supports for winding up the connection cable when the device is not in use.
Vacuum cleaners or floor polishers are already known which are provided with hook-like, foldable or elastic supports around which the connection cable of the apparatus can be wrapped. Losing the cable is made possible by overcoming spring pressure or, if the hook is flexible, by overcoming the elasticity of the hook.
The known devices but suffer from the essential drawback that Idas, holding the cable is very unsafe if not the spring BEZW. the hook material received great rigidity, which in turn makes it difficult to clear the cable.
In addition, the cable can easily be damaged when it is pulled over the stiff hook, or the elastic material of the hook is damaged when it is deformed, which is necessary for the purpose of detaching the cable.
The present invention eliminates these disadvantages and both securely grips and conveniently loosens the cable:
achieved in that at least one of the supports has a part that is movable in relation to another of the supports and the support surface for the cable is designed and attached in relation to the point of application and a stop for the movable support part,
that tensile stresses arising in the wound cable as a result of the movement of the movable support part receive such a direction in relation to the point of application and the stop that these stresses tend to keep the movable support part in the retaining position of the cable to obtain.
In this case, a movable support in a manner known per se can expediently comprise a retractable arm, hook or the like as a cable holder which is arranged to hold or hold the cable winding firmly in an end position determined by the stop. to release it again by pivoting it out of this end position,
without the cable holder having to be spring-loaded or even made of ela-elastic material with the resulting disadvantages. The cable holder according to the invention can have such a cross-section that it encloses the cable winding in the form of a fork in the Festhalte'lage, the tensile stresses mentioned exerting a torque counteracting the pivoting back of the holder from the end position about the pivot center of the holder.
If the arrangement is used with a vacuum cleaner lying type, the cable holder, which is advantageously attached to the top .des Appa rates, can be designed to form an apparatus part that also fulfills another purpose, such as. B. as a support handle holder, as hinged on the apparatus shell foldable, against this in the fixed posture position adjacent hood, as a lid or the like.
It is advantageous here to provide the hood or the cover with a groove-shaped recess around its foldable front edge in order to accommodate the recess around this recess and a suitable one. located at the rear of the apparatus support, e.g.
B. 'in the connection position obliquely outwardly directed device plug to be wrapped around the cable. In a special embodiment, the hood or lid can advantageously be designed to serve the triple purpose as a cable holder, as a protective cap for an actuating member of a shaking device for the vacuum cleaner filter and as a closure member of a valve opening free when the filter is shaken.
The invention is described below using an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a schematic representation, FIG. 2 shows a side view of a lying type of dust collector, the connection cable attached to the cover of the apparatus being shown in section,
Fig. 3 shows the device according to FIG. 2 in an intermediate position during the release of the cable and FIG. 4 the same device in plan view. In Fig. 1, 10 denotes the shell of the Appa rates, 11 with a firmly attached to it cable support and 12 with a swingable cable holder hinged to a holder 13. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the part 15 of the cable holder 12 around which the connection cable (not shown in the figure) is to be wound up as:
Hooks designed, between whose clans .the cable will rest in a coiled state. The resultant of the tensile stresses created in the various cable layers by the winding will lie approximately along the line a, i.e. H. between the stop surface 10 of the cable holder. and its pivot center 14.
As a result of the distance b between the pivot center 14 of the cable holder and the direction of grip of the tension resultant, the cable is held in place, counteracting every pivoting movement of the cable holder from this position, by means of the Tension resulting torque exerted around the pivot center 14 and secured with the 1 @ Io @ mentarm b.
To release the cable you have to manually pivot the cable holder 12 out of the end position shown, from the stop against the pad 10, while overcoming the said counteracting torque.
As soon as this pivoting movement has taken place so far that the line a has passed the pivot center point 14, there is no resistance to the movement anymore, but the tension resultant instead it facilitates the continued pivoting movement until the cable has been released and the whole cable wieklunb can be lifted away from the supports 11, 12 all at once.
In Vig. 2 to 4 is denoted by 20 a vacuum cleaner lying type, which consists of an elongated, as a dust container ausgebil Deten lower part 21 and a preferably as a lid of the dust container. serving upper part 22 consists of a similar shape. On the inside of the cover 212 is the motor-fan unit of the vacuum cleaner, as well as a shaking device, suitably with concentric,
circular Fal th executed dust filter arranged. The lid is held on the container '21 by means of resilient closure hooks 23 which enclose the suction nozzle 24 and a rear handle 24 '. With 25 of the exhaust nozzle. Vacuum cleaner and with 26 and 27, the impellers of the Appa rates are called. On the cover 22 are two holders 2,8, 29 for the handle 30 of the.
Apparatus arranged, the rear carrying handle holder 29 being designed as a cap that encompasses the switching device and contact pins of the apparatus.
The cable .3,1 is connected to this device connection by means of a sleeve plug 32, which in the connected lab is directed obliquely outwards from the device shell and therefore serves as a rear support for the connection cable when it is wound up can. The pin connector of the cable is labeled 33.
A hood 34 is articulated on the front handle holder 28- so that it can pivot about a pin 3'S. This hood, which partly provides protection for an actuating member 36 of a shaking device, g for cleaning the vacuum cleaner filter (roof filter) below, partly also a hermetic closure member for an uncovered when the container is shaken,
normally covered by the hood valve opening bil det, is on the front edge, through a handle 3.7 and a recess 3-8 as. Fork designed to work in the same way as .der part 12 in Fäg. 1 to serve as a cable holder. The 'rear cable support consists, as he expediently mentioned, of Jem Apparatensteeker 32 - that is the. Support 11 in Fig. 1 corresponds.
When the cable is to be loosened, the person operating the apparatus grips the handle 37 with his hand and folds the hood 34 up to an angle such that the cable winding can be lifted away without difficulty.
This freeing of the cable cannot happen unintentionally, because, as in the device according to FIG. 1, the pivot center 35 of the hood is located above the direction of attack for the resulting tensile stresses in .den wound cable layers.
Although the invention has been described on the basis of a particular embodiment thereof, it goes without saying that its application can be varied in many ways within the framework of the underlying inventive concept can e.g. B. the rear support, similar to the front, be designed as a swivel ble cable holder.
