Description
Handapparat für die Festigkeits-und Dehnbarkeitsprüfung von Textilien, Leder,
Papier und dergleichen Materialien.
Der erfindungsgemässe. Eandapparat dient zur Bestimmung der Zerreissfestigkeit und Dehnbarkeit von Textilien, Leder, Papier und d ähnlichen Materialien nach der allgemein bekannten Methode der Eugeldurchstossprü- fung, und weist einen in einem Gehäuse axial verschiebbar gelagerten Stempel auf, der bei seinem Vorschub senkrecht gegen das in einer Einspannvorrichtung des Gehauses flachgespannte Prüfmaterial gepresst wird.
Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass der Vorschub des Stempels durch Drehen einer das Gehäuse durchsetzenden Schraube erfolgt, deren Vortrieb über eine Schraubenfeder auf den Stempel übertragen wird, wobei eine erste Anzeigevorrichtung die Verkürzung der Feder und damit die Anpress- kraft des Stempels und eine zweite Anzeigevorrichtung die Zahl der Umdrehungen der Schraube misst, woraus sich die Dehnbarkeit des Prüfmaterials ergibt.
Das in der Figur dargestellte Ausfüh- rungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemässen Appa- rates arbeitet folgendermassen :
Das zu prüfende Material M wird flash auf die Stirnseite des zylindrischen Gehäu- ses G gelegt und durch Zusammenpressen der beiden Ringe R1 und B, festgespannt. Durch gegenseitige Verdrehung von Gehäuse G und Schraubenspindel Sp wird diese nach vorn geschraubt. Diese Bewegung wird durch die SchraubenfederF auf den zylindrischen, vom halbkugelförmig abgerundeten Stempel St übertragen.
Der diesem durch das Prüfmate- rial entgegengesetzte Widerstand bewirkt eine entsprechende Verkürzung der Feder, welche durch den die Spindel durchsetzenden Füblstift einer Messuhr U gemessen wird. Die Asialverschiebung der Spindel, abzüglich der Verkiirzung der Feder ist ein MaB für die Dehnbarkeit des Prüfmaterials und wird durch die gegenseitige Lage der beiden Ringe S1 und S2, von denen der eine am Gehäuse und der andere an der Spindel festgemacht ist, bestimmt.
Die eingespannte Fläche des Prüfmate- rials kann durch entsprechende Gestaltung der Klemmringe-Bi und R2 eine runde, qua dratische oder andere Form haben, ebenso kann die Form des Stempels beliebig variiert werden. Ausser flächenformigen, können unter Verwendung geeigneter Stempel auch st. rei- fen-oder fadenförmige Materialien in gleicher Weise geprüft werden.

The inventive. Eandapparat is used to determine the tensile strength and elasticity of textiles, leather, paper and similar materials according to the well-known method of the Eugeldurchstosprü- test, and has an axially displaceable stamp in a housing, which is perpendicular to that in a clamping device when it is advanced the housing flat tensioned test material is pressed.
The invention consists in that the punch is advanced by turning a screw penetrating the housing, the propulsion of which is transmitted to the punch via a helical spring, a first display device showing the shortening of the spring and thus the contact pressure of the punch and a second display device measures the number of turns of the screw, from which the extensibility of the test material results.
The exemplary embodiment of the apparatus according to the invention shown in the figure operates as follows:
The material M to be tested is placed on the face of the cylindrical housing G and clamped tight by pressing the two rings R1 and B together. By mutually rotating the housing G and screw spindle Sp, this is screwed forward. This movement is transmitted by the helical spring F to the cylindrical punch St, which is rounded off by the hemispherical shape.
The resistance opposed to this by the test material causes a corresponding shortening of the spring, which is measured by the filling pin of a dial gauge U that penetrates the spindle. The axial displacement of the spindle, minus the shortening of the spring, is a measure of the extensibility of the test material and is determined by the mutual position of the two rings S1 and S2, one of which is attached to the housing and the other to the spindle.
The clamped surface of the test material can have a round, square or other shape by appropriately designing the clamping rings-Bi and R2, and the shape of the stamp can also be varied as desired. In addition to sheet-like, st. Tire or thread-like materials are tested in the same way.
