Divan transformable en lit. L'objet de la présente invention est un divan transformable en lit comprenant un châssis avec partie horizontale capitonnée et <B>au</B> moins un coussin de dossier, caractérisé par au moins un accoudoir susceptible d'être déplacé par translation, de manière<B>à</B> rallon ger le divan et<B>à</B> permettre de poser au moins un coussin de dossier en prolongation de la partie h orizonfale capitonnée.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente,<B>à</B> titre' d'exemple, une forme d'exécution et deux va riantes du divan faisant l'objet de l'invention.
Les fig. <B>1</B> et 2 sont des vues partielles en élévation et en plan de cette forme d'exécu tion. Les fig. <B>3,</B> 4 et<B>5, 6</B> sont des vues ana logues des deux variantes.
Dans la forme représentée, le divan com prend un châssis<B>1</B> sur lequel est étendu un coussin horizontal 2. Deux coussins<B>3</B> et 4 juxtaposés et appuyés contre la paroi adja- cpnie au divan en forment le dossier. Le coussin horizontal est un sommier capitonné. Le châssis forme coffre et contient la literie.
Aux deux extrémités du châssis sont mon tés des accoudoirs<B>5</B> et<B>6,</B> dont l'un au moins est mobile. Pour le divan de<B>1,5</B> mètre de longueur environ, il suffit de prévoir un ac coudoir mobile. Pour un divan plus court, de <B>1</B> mètre de longueur environ, il faut prévoir les deux accoudoirs mobiles.
Dans les fig. <B>1</B> et 2, le mouvement des accoudoirs est obtenu par roulement sur deux galets<B>7</B> solidaires du châssis.<B>A</B> cet effet, les accoudoirs présentent deux fers<B>8</B> rigides, qui reposent sur les galets et sont guidés par leur extrémité libre dans une bride<B>9.</B>
Lorsque les deux accoudoirs sont mobiles, on prévoit un support<B>10</B> fixe et un support <B>Il</B> escamotable, sur lesquels on pose un cous sin de dossier<B>3</B> pour prolonger le sommier capitonné.
Lorsque l'un des accoudoirs seulement est mobile, il suffit de prévoir un support fixe 12 et de poser les deux coussins de dossier<B>3</B> et 4 l'un sur l'autre.
Pour faire plaquer les accoudoirs mobiles contre le châssis, les fers<B>8</B> présentent une partie légèrement inclinée 8a.
Le mode d'utilisation de. ce divan est le suivant: Pour utiliser le divan comme lit, il suffit de tirer l'accoudoir et de poser le coussin de dossier entre l'accoudoir et le coussin hori zontal. Au matin, on remplace le coussin de dossier dans sa position normale et l'on re pousse l'accoudoir contre le châssis. Ce der nier forme coffre et peut contenir toute la literie désirée.
Dans la variante des fig. <B>3</B> et 4, les accou doirs sont montés sur les bouts du châssis au moyen de deux consoles<B>13</B> articulées dans un plan horizontal<B>à,</B> leurs extrémités et en leur point milieu. L'accoudoir est monté<B>à</B> l'extré mité de ces consoles au moyen de vis pouvant coulisser verticalement dans des trous ovales 14. Cette disposition permet de soulever l'ac coudoir pour l'accrocher sur un crochet<B>15</B> solidaire du châssis, afin qu'il reste dans cette position.
Dans la variante des fig. <B>5</B> et<B>6,</B> l'accou doir est monté<B>à</B> l'extrémité du châssis au moyen de deux consoles<B>16</B> assemblées en X par leur milieu et articulées dans un plan horizontal par leurs extrémités. Deux de ces articulations 16a sont disposées de manière <B>à</B> pouvoir coulisser transversalement, l'une sur le châssis, l'autre sur l'accoudoir.
Dans ces deux variantes, on ne peut poser qu'un coussin sur l'accoudoir. Dans les divans <B>à</B> un accoudoir mobile, l'un des coussins reste dans sa position de dossier.
Pour des divans très courts<B>à</B> deux accou doirs mobiles, on pourra prévoir deux cous sins de dossier appuyés l'un contre l'autre.
Enfin, en variante, on pourra prévoir en core d'autres formes de consoles mobiles re liant les accoudoirs au châssis.
Sofa convertible into bed. In the form shown, the divan com takes a frame <B> 1 </B> on which is extended a horizontal cushion 2. Two cushions <B> 3 </B> and 4 juxtaposed and pressed against the wall adjacent to the sofa form the backrest. The horizontal cushion is a padded box spring. The frame forms a box and contains the bedding.
At both ends of the frame are mounted armrests <B> 5 </B> and <B> 6, </B>, at least one of which is movable. For the sofa of approximately <B> 1.5 </B> meters in length, it suffices to provide a movable armrest. For a shorter sofa, approximately <B> 1 </B> meter in length, you must provide two movable armrests.
In fig. <B> 1 </B> and 2, the movement of the armrests is obtained by rolling on two rollers <B> 7 </B> integral with the frame. <B> A </B> this effect, the armrests have two irons <B> 8 </B> rigid, which rest on the rollers and are guided by their free end in a <B> 9. </B>
When the two armrests are movable, a fixed <B> 10 </B> support and a retractable <B> Il </B> support are provided, on which a backrest neck is placed <B> 3 </B> to extend the padded base.
When only one of the armrests is movable, it suffices to provide a fixed support 12 and to place the two back cushions <B> 3 </B> and 4 on top of each other.
In order to press the movable armrests against the frame, the <B> 8 </B> irons have a slightly inclined part 8a.
How to use. this sofa is as follows: To use the sofa as a bed, simply pull out the armrest and place the back cushion between the armrest and the horizontal cushion. In the morning, replace the back cushion in its normal position and push the armrest back against the frame. This last form a safe and can contain all the desired bedding.
In the variant of FIGS. <B> 3 </B> and 4, the armrests are mounted on the ends of the frame by means of two brackets <B> 13 </B> articulated in a horizontal plane <B> at, </B> their ends and at their midpoint. The armrest is mounted <B> at </B> the end of these consoles by means of screws which can slide vertically in oval holes 14. This arrangement allows the armrest to be lifted to hang it on a hook < B> 15 </B> integral with the frame, so that it remains in this position.
In the variant of FIGS. <B> 5 </B> and <B> 6, </B> the armrest is mounted <B> at </B> the end of the frame by means of two <B> 16 </B> consoles assembled in X by their middle and articulated in a horizontal plane by their ends. Two of these articulations 16a are disposed so <B> to </B> can slide transversely, one on the frame, the other on the armrest.
In these two variants, only one cushion can be placed on the armrest. In sofas with <B> with </B> a movable armrest, one of the cushions remains in its backrest position.
For very short sofas <B> with </B> two movable armrests, two back cushions can be provided, leaning against each other.
Finally, as a variant, it is also possible to provide other forms of mobile consoles linking the armrests to the frame.
