Description

Installation on pipes for water, gas, etc. to reduce corrosion. The present invention relates to a device on pipes made of metal for gas, water, etc.

It is known that the corrosion of such lines is greatly promoted by the electrical currents.

The present invention aims to reduce the corrosion, and this is achieved according to the invention in that electrically insulating intermediate layers are installed between tween two successive line parts. Depending on the system, one or more such facilities can be provided. The facility can e.g. B. in the form of Rohrverschraubun gene, so-called Raccords; be trained.

In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically.

A nipple 3, which is provided with an external thread 4, is screwed onto the pipe part 1. A sleeve 5 is screwed onto the pipe part 2 and with its flange 6 engages over the thread 4 of the nipple 3. The flange 6 has threads 7 on the inner wall. Between the threads 4 and 7, a body 8 made of an electrically insulating material is provided, which z. B. made of hard g ummi , synthetic resin, etc. can consist.

In an annular surface 9 of the sleeve 5 there is a ring 10 made of electrically insulating material, for example vulcanized fiber, klingerite, etc. Nipple 3 and sleeve 5 are screwed hard onto one another. The @ washer 10 serves as a sealing washer.

The Gummikexper 8 can be screwed in; However, a G ummim ace or the like, if plastic, can also be poured into the joint between the nipple 3 and socket 5. A ring 11 made of electrically non-conductive material can be placed between the end faces of parts 1 and 2.

The pipe parts 1 and 2 are electrically isolated from one another. The effect of the earth currents on the pipelines and thus the corrosion of the latter is significantly reduced.
