Hydraulic rotary machine without valves with variable flow. The object of the present invention is a rotary hydraulic machine without valves, with variable flow, intended in particular but not exclusively for the control of machine tools, and which can operate as a pump or as a motor, of the type comprising a rotating plate. forming an angle with its axis of rotation and cooperating with pistons arranged circularly around this axis and parallel to the latter,
characterized by a device for adjusting the angle of inclination of the turntable and by cylinder openings cooperating with input and output channels presented by the machine shaft.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the rotary hydraulic machine forming the subject of the invention, in axial section, without tank or drive motor.
The pump body of the machine shown comprises a casing 1 enclosing the flow adjustment mechanism and extending by a cylinder block 2 with cylinder head 3 fixed by Aellen 18 screws. A drive shaft 4 is mounted in the axis of the pump body, so as to be able to rotate freely in the cylinder head and the cylinder block, on the one hand, and in a ball bearing 9 and a thrust bearing 10 mounted in a flange 8 fixed on, the housing 1 by screws 17, on the other hand.
The flange 8 has an internal collar onto which is screwed a ring 7 with external helical teeth cooperating with a worm 16 driven by an adjusting wheel, not shown. The shaft 4 carries a sleeve 6 which can slide axially and driven by a key 13. This sleeve rests, on the one hand, on a thrust bearing secured to the ring 7 and, on the other hand, by means of an eccentric nose 25, on a rotating plate 5 mounted in an oscillating manner on a pin 14 passing through the shaft 4.
The rotating plate 5 carries a thrust bearing 12 dc nt the rotating ring rests on the free ends of the pistons 15 of the pump. The latter are hollow and each contain a spring 24 resting in a housing of the cylinder head 3.
Each cylinder has a slot 23 intended to cooperate alternately with a suction channel 20 and a discharge channel 19 which the shaft 4 presents and which themselves communicate respectively with suction openings 21 and with a terie pipe. discharge not shown - intended to be screwed at 22.
The operation of this machine, as a pump, is as follows: A motor, not shown, drives the shaft 4 through its free end projecting from the flange 8. The shaft drives the plate 5 through its pin 14 and the sleeve 6 through its key 13. The pistons 15 then receive a reciprocating movement. During the aspiration time, the cylinders are in communication with the channel 20, so as to directly suck the oil contained in a tank, not shown, surrounding the pump body.
During the delivery time, the cylinders dres are in communication with the channel 19 discharging the oil into the pipe fixed at 22, which connects the pump body to the apparatus for using the pressurized oil.
To adjust the flow rate between zero and the maximum, it suffices to turn the endless screw 16 by means of its adjusting wheel, not shown. The ring 7 rotates on its thread and the angle of the turntable 5 varies under the action of the springs 24 of the pistons 15, which apply it against the nose of the sleeve 6. In the lower position of. sleeve 6, the plate has the maximum angle of inclination with respect to its axis of rotation, and the pistons therefore describe the complete suction and delivery stroke.
When the sleeve 6 comes to occupy its upper position, the turntable is placed perpendicular to its axis of rotation and the piston stroke is zero.
The arrangement shown at the front, -, e, e allow a particularly robust construction, none of the parts being e @@ ôséë @ to a wear detrimental to its good xgnélement.
