I>a</I> -f- f= 360 .
Fig. 17 stellt die Abwicklung dieser Hubtrommel dar.
Gear processing machine for spur and helical gears. There are gear processing machines for spur gears and helical gears known in which the workpiece has a continuous rotational movement and relative to the tool performs a rolling movement, while the work tool is moved back and forth and gets into a different workpiece tooth gap after each impact.
The invention now relates to such a machine in which the fiction according to during a full revolution of a lifting shaft, the tool executes a whole stroke cycle, with it being moved on its work path, which it traverses at constant speed, by a lifting curve firmly seated on the lifting shaft , which has such a shape that the rectilinear movement of the tool generated by it is proportional to the angle of rotation of the lifting shaft.

Fig. 22 shows the whole machine in elevation and Fig. 23 in plan.
The workpiece 1, Fig. 1, is on a rotary table 2, which is rotatably mounted in a longitudinally movable rolling slide 3, clamped. The rotary table 2 is rotated by the partial worm gear 4 by means of the partial worm 5. which forms the organ rotating the rotary table and which is driven by the bevel gear 6, a central gear of the differential gear, the other central gear 7 of which is connected to the part change gears 8, 9, 10, .11. The web 12, which carries the planetary gears 13 and 14, is connected via the module change gears 15, 16, 17, 18 (Fig. 2) and the intermediate gears 19, 20 to the module spindle M, which pushes the roller slide 3 ver.
The parts 6, 12 form links of the differential gear 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, the link 12 receiving a control movement from a feed gear 26, 27 and the differential gear being driven by the lifting shaft 41 via the partial change gears 8-11. The wheels 16 and 17 (Fig. 2) sit on the shaft 21, which is driven by a bevel gear reversing gear 22, 23, 24 of known construction. This reversing gear is driven by a shaft 25 which, via the advance stroke change gears 26, 27 and a reversing gear of known construction (FIG. 3), consists of wheels 28, 29, 30, 3-1, 32 with the shaft 33 is connected. This reversing gear has different translations for the two directions of rotation.
It is also a step-up gear in contrast to the gear 22, 23, 24, which is only a reversing gear and serves to reverse the direction of rotation of the module spindle, as it can be rolled in both directions at the same speed . The transmission and reversing gear 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 is necessary in order to be able to carry out the rolling slowly during the operation and - after the wheel has been cut completely - the rolling back into the starting position quickly.
So while the reversing gear 22, 23, 24 is set only once when setting up the machine, the transmission and reversing gear 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 when interlocking a series of glei cher wheels for each wheel for the work gear and used for the return. The shaft 33 is driven by the shift shaft 34, which receives its drive from the motor 82 via a belt gear 37, via a worm gear 35, 36. The motor 82 drives via a belt drive 38 and the wheels 39, 40 to the lifting shaft 41, which moves the plunger St via links which are shown in more detail in FIGS. 5-7, the tool flap 53 and the tool Plane steel 54, carries.
The tool 54 is at the end of the stroke in a known manner, by means of a Kur ventrommel 52, which is rotated over the wheels 50, 51 by the lifting shaft 41, folded back. The lifting shaft 41 is via the wheels 42, 43, 44, 45, the shaft 46 and the reversing gear 47, 48, 49 with the partial change selwheels 11, 1.0, 9, 8 in connection.
The reversing gear 47, 48, 49 can also be omitted or. be reduced to a simple bevel gear when an intermediate gear is switched on for reversing the direction of rotation of the rotary table 2 in the partial gearbox. Likewise, the reversing gear 22, 23, 24 could be omitted if in the module change gear group 15, 16, 17, 18 or the feed changes 26, 27 an intermediate wheel to reverse the direction of rotation would be used or omitted. Furthermore, the worm gear 5, 4 could also be replaced by a spur wheel gear.
The translation of the partial change gears 8-11 is such that with one full turn of the lifting shaft 41, the rotary table 2 is rotated by one or more pitches so that the planing steel 54 cuts a different tooth gap after each stroke. Since the lifting shaft 41 and thus also the rotary table 2 with the workpiece 1 rotate at a constant speed, the tool 54 must also be advanced during its travel at a constant speed in the direction of the teeth of the workpiece. 5-7 and 14-19 of the ram drive for constant Arbeitsgeschwin speed is shown.
So that the tooth flanks are profiled after an involute, the workpiece must be gradually rolled over the teeth of the tool. This is done in a known manner in that the Wälzschlit th 3 displaced longitudinally by the same amount as the workpiece 1 measured on its rolling circle, is rotated about its axis. The module change gears 15, 16, 17, 18 serve to coordinate these two partial movements, through which on the one hand the module spindle M and on the other hand the web 12 of the differential gear and thereby the worm gear 5, 4 of the rotary table 2 are rotated.
In order to make the rolling movement faster or slower, corresponding feed change gears 2, 6, 27 are attached. To also change the number of strokes of the ram and thus the cutting speed of the tool, the translation of the drive wheels 39, 40 is changed. With a larger number of strokes of the tool, the rolling can also take place faster if the number of envelope cuts per tooth flank should remain the same. One could therefore also derive the drive of the selector shaft 3 4 from the shaft 46 or combine the two shafts into a single one. In this case, all change gears would have to be arranged groups on the same side of the machine.
The infeed of the workpiece 1 against the tool 54 takes place by means of a threaded spindle 61 mounted in the machine bed 79, which moves the lower slide 78, which carries the rolling slide 3 with the rotary table 2 (FIG. 1). The infeed can take place manually by means of an organ to be attached to the square of the spindle 61. The infeed can also take place automatically by the bevel gear 6, which can be coupled to the infeed spindle 61 by means of the coupling 62 . The drive of the bevel gear 60, 59 takes place from the .Schnecke 34 via a worm gear 55, 56 and the feed change gears 57, 58.
The infeed could also be made by means of a cam, as in the known cutting wheel shaping machine.
The workpiece can be delivered to the tool in several ways. For example, after every turn of the wheel, you could adjust it by the thickness of a chip to its full depth. It is then possible to deliver the workpiece slowly and continuously so that the thickness of a chip is reached after each rotation. In a third way, the tool can be rolled laterally into the workpiece to the full depth of the tooth gap from the start, with no further infeed then required.
The movements of the tool and workpiece during machining are as follows: The tool executes a push and return movement, each of which takes place at a constant speed, with it being lifted by the amount of the tooth height during the return movement and up again at the start of the pushing movement the correct depth is delivered. During the entire machining period, the workpiece performs a continuous rotary movement and, with the aid of the differential mentioned, a rolling movement along the toothed rack-shaped tool. Without this rolling motion, only straight-flanked tooth gaps would arise.
In Fig. 5, A represents a lift curve which is formed by an involute to the base circle of diameter a, <I> B </I> a lift curve which is formed from an involute to the base circle diameter b. The center of the base circles lies in the axis of the lifting shaft 41 (FIGS. 6 and 7). The two evolve-shaped lifting cams <I> A, B </I> are formed by lifting disks A ", B" which are fixed on the lifting shaft 41. The rollers CA and CA are rotatably mounted on a slide S.
In the upper end position of the slide, the lift curve A touches the roller CA at its end point E. The involute disk A "is moved from its initial position by a rotation in the direction of the arrow Q around the angle a, which is represented by the dash-dotted lift curve A ', reaches this end position. Since the slide S is guided in the direction XX and was pushed by the involute disk A "into the upper position with the contact point E of the curve A, the contact point of the slide H 'must be in the lower end position of the slide H' Lift curve A 'with the role CA.
At this point H 'is the tangent length of the involute A' = H 'D' = the length of the arc belonging to the angle y from the base circle diameter a. In the upper end position (contact point E) the tangent has the length ED '= the arc length on the base circle <I> a </I> corresponding to the angle a -f- <I> y. </I> The tangent extension, which corresponds to the stroke of the slide that comes about when the involute disk A ″ rotates from position A 'to position A, ED'-D'H' = EH '= the arc length of the angle a on the base circle of diameter a.
In the upper end position of the slide S, the involute disk B "touches the. Roller CB at point K. The tangent length JK corresponds to the arc length of the base circle with the diameter b at the angle g. If the involute disk rotates in the direction of the arrow Q by the angle ss , the lift curve B reaches the dotted position B 'and the end point of the involute then touches the roller at point G. The tangent extension GK corresponds to the arc length of the angle ss on the base circle of diameter b. This is the amount by which the slide would be S shifted downwards. The involute disk A "would also be rotated by the same angle / 3 at the same time so that it assumes the position <I> A '</I>.
The curve <I> B </I> has completed the stroke GK of the slide with a rotation through the angle ss, while the curve A caused the same stroke <I> EH '</I> with a rotation through the angle a. Makes during an entire lifting cycle. the lifting shaft 41 one revolution; it rotates around <I> a </I> -f- f = 360. It must also be <I> GK = EH '</I> or <I> b <B> -, 6 </B> = a. As the angular speed of the lifting shaft 41 is constant, the stroke GK, caused by the involute disk B, is passed through in a shorter time than the same stroke EH 'that is generated by the involute disk A. .
The stroke times are related to each other like the angles of rotation

With an appropriate choice of the base circle diameter of the two involute disks, one obtains a lifting mechanism that executes the Huh in one direction, during the Ar beitsganges, more slowly than in the other, during the reverse gear, the base circle of the disk A "being smaller than that for the disk B ". The disk <I> B "</I> extends over a smaller circumferential part of the lifting shaft 41 than the disk A".
In order to obtain a gentle reversal of the movement of the tool ram at the beginning and at the end of the stroke, ie outside of the work path, the corresponding parts of the lifting disc are designed according to a shape deviating from the involute.
In Fig. 6 and 7, a plunger with such a lifting disk drive is shown. The involute disks A "and B" are firmly connected to the lifting shaft 41, which is rotatably mounted in a carrier 63. The driver rollers 64 sit on the vertically adjustable slide S. Here, the slide S carrying the tool ram St is driven directly by the lifting cams. In order to be able to adjust the height of the tool 54, the slide S is connected to the tool ram St through the screw spindle 65, which can be rotated via the pair of cones 66, 67.
After the adjustment has been made, the plunger St is firmly connected to the slide S again by means of the screws 68.
The stroke length can be changed by replacing the involute disks with others with a different base circle diameter. This way of changing the stroke is appropriate for small stroke ranges where a few involute stroke disks are sufficient, but not for machines whose stroke change must be adjustable within wide limits. In such a machine, changeable translation elements, levers or change gears are connected between the slide 8 of the involute lift mechanism constant th stroke and the tool ram St. In Fig. 8 a change in stroke by means of a variable lever ratio is in cal matic manner Darge provides.
The change in stroke is accomplished by moving the support 69.
FIGS. 9-13 show various embodiments of involute stroke gears, for example, in which the stroke change is brought about by change gears. The slide S is pushed back and forth through the lift curves in an analogous manner to the slide S in FIG. 5. In FIGS. 9-12, the slide S is provided with a toothed rod 70 which meshes with a wheel 71. Similarly, the tool ram St is also equipped with a toothed rack 75 which meshes with a wheel 74.
Between tween the shaft of the wheel 74 and that of the wheel 71 is a change gear bil Dende exchangeable gear ratio with the wheels 72, 73 turned on. The parts 70, 71 and 74, 75 each form a rack and pinion gear. 9 and 12 show various possible arrangements of the wheels gear 71-74. For changing the change gears 72, 73 the arrangement according to FIG. 12 is probably the more advantageous. To achieve a constant concern of the driving and gear NEN organs of the ram movement, so the involute disks and rollers, the toothed rods and wheels, the kinetic energy of the tool ram is absorbed in a known manner by springs at both ends of the stroke.
In Fig. 13, a further construction of the lifting device with involute disk is shown, in wel cher the plunger is moved by a threaded spindle instead of a toothed rack. In this case, the path of the plunger St and that of the slide 8 run perpendicular to one another. The slide drives the shaft 76 via the rack and pinion gear 70, 71; the change gears 72, 78 forming a change gear transmission are arranged between the shaft 76 and the threaded spindle del 77.
The tool feed can also be generated at a constant speed as follows. A lifting drum 83 with a groove of constant pitch is attached to the lifting shaft 41 (FIG. 14). When the lifting shaft 41 is rotated, the roller 84 rotatably attached to the slide 8 is used to move this in the direction of the axis of the lifting shaft 41. This slide movement is shown schematically in FIG. The lifting drum 83 is rolled into the plane, the abscissa c corresponds to a whole revolution of the same. During the Ar beitsweges the lifting drum 83 rotates by the distance a, during the return by the shorter distance b; the return of the slide takes place in a shorter time.
Since the line connecting P, with P2 is a straight line, the slide S is given a constant movement in the direction of the ordinate axis when the lifting drum rotates at a constant speed. -The return of the slide takes place through the curve piece F, an equidistant to the connection line from P2 to P3. Because of the simpler production, it is advantageous - the lifting curve F, which corresponds to the working path of the slide, for example on one side, the F which actuates the return, on the other side of the lifting drum 83, according to FIG. 16, appropriate.
In this case, two driver rollers 85 are necessary. Fig. 17 shows the development of this lifting drum.
To generate the slide movement of constant speed, instead of a lifting drum or a cam disk with an involute shape (FIG. 5), a cam venscheibe 86, which has two lift curves shaped depending on an archi medical spiral (FIG. 18), can be used.
The angle a (lift curve I) corresponds to the working travel, the angle ss (lift curve I) corresponds to the return of the slide S, the guide of which must run radially to the lift shaft 41 and, as is shown schematically in FIGS. 18, 19, by means of an on the slide S fixed pin 87 is moved.
The lift curve for the work path must always meet the condition that the slide path generated by it is exactly proportional to the angle of rotation of the lift shaft 41. Furthermore, the lift curve should be such a curve that can be precisely produced and checked, because the accuracy of the teeth to be generated depends on its accuracy in the tooth direction.
Analogously to the involute cam disc mechanism, the stroke change can also be made in the hoist gears according to FIGS. 14-19 either by replacing the hub element, the lifting drum 83 or the hub disk 86, i.e. in the same way as in the construction according to FIG 6 and 7 take place, or, if the same lifting device is retained, by interposing transmission links according to the constructions according to FIGS. 8-13. Nothing changes at all in these constructions, only the slide S is driven by another lifting element instead of an involute lifting disk.
FIG. 20 shows the diagram of the relative speed of the tool with respect to the cylinder surface of the pitch circle diameter of the wheel to be planed. the path diagram on a different scale. The rolling cylinder surface is wound in the plane from, the division of the wheel to be planed from the wheel width b is mn. The pitches of the wheel with straight teeth are marked in the diagram by heavy lines. The back and forth movement of the tool, the working stroke and the return movement take place during the time t, during which the wheel body rotates by a pitch mn.
The screw jack is designed in such a way that the tool runs more slowly in the working cycle than in the reverse, i.e. the working cycle takes a time t, which is greater than the time t =, which corresponds to the reverse, where t1 - + - t2 = t is. If vw means the speed of rotation of the workpiece on the pitch circle or the relative rotation of the workpiece to the tool, then the path of rotation vw t1 that the workpiece executes during the operation is greater than the path of rotation vw t2 during the tool return.
Through the component vw t1 and the resulting R, which must fall in the Zahnrich device, the second component and the direction of the tool is respectively. the angle a is determined by which the tool ram is to be set to the wheel axis. In order to plane straight teeth, the ram has to be set at an angle to the wheel axis. The resulting R with the components vw t2 and? Ist, t2 arises when the tool returns. It has no meaning, however, since the tool is folded down during its return movement, ie does not come into contact with the workpiece.
In Fig. 21 an analog diagram is shown for the toothing of a wheel with oblique teeth. Here the plunger St is set in the direction of the component v st, t1, that is, parallel to the wheel axis; However, with the appropriate modification of the diagram, the toothing could also be produced with an inclined plunger. The tool teeth are always to be set in the direction of the resultant R (Fig. 20, 21), that is, to the tooth inclination angle ss. The tool is therefore clamped in a rotatable tool flap 53.
The folding down of the tool at the end of the stroke has to take place around an axis of rotation which is perpendicular to the direction of the tool teeth or the teeth to be planed.
22, 23, the structure of the whole machine with its main parts is shown in part only in schematic form. On the bed 79 of the machine frame 80, the lower slide 78, which can be moved through the threaded spindle 61, is set. It carries the rolling slide 3, which is displaceable transversely to the table guides of the sub-slide in the direction of the module spindle M and on which the rotary table 2 with the workpiece 1 is rotatably mounted. The lift shaft 41 is driven by the motor 82 via the belt drive 38 and the wheels 39, 40.
From the lifting shaft 41, the drive shaft 46 of the bevel gear 47, 49 is driven via the wheels 42-45, which the partial change gears 8-11, the Differentialge gear 6, 7, 13, 14 and thus the worm gear 5, 4, the rotary table 2 turns, drives. On the other side of the machine, the modules and feed changes shown in Figs. 1-3 are arranged together with the reversing gear on the lower slide 3, which is driven by the shift shaft 34 via the belt drive 37 from the motor $ 2.
In the front elevation (FIG. 22) these organs are only partially visible. On the machine stand 80 is a rotating part 81, in which the work tool ram St is introduced with the tool 54, rotatable and lockable about a horizontal axis. The tool ram St receives its drive from the stroke shaft 41, for example by organs which are shown in FIGS. 5-13, but are not shown in FIGS. 22, 2'3. The lift cams drive the tool ram St. directly, and the ram stroke can be changed by replacing the lift cam carrier.
1, 22 and 23 and the corresponding description relate to a machine in which the workpiece performs the entire rolling movement. However, it is only essential that the workpiece executes a rolling movement relative to the tool, whether the two partial movements that make up the rolling movement are assigned to the workpiece, or only the rotation around the axis, but the longitudinal movement is transferred to the tool, is irrelevant. In the latter case, it would not be the rotary table 2, but the rotating part 81 with the tool ram to be arranged on a rolling carriage.
During one full revolution of the lifting shaft 41, the tool executes a whole lifting cycle (back and forth movement), during which it is moved by a lifting curve on its working path, which it traverses at constant speed.
If in the gear planer described as an embodiment, instead of the rack tool 54, a grinding disk with the profile of a tooth of this tool including the drive motor is attached to the tool flap 53, the result is a gear grinder that otherwise works in the same way as the planer.
