Steam-gas-thermal power installation. The main patent relates to a steam gas thermal power plant in which the combustion gases give off part of their heat to generate steam and at least part of the residual heat to heat up gas from a gas turbine plant. According to the claim of the main patent, only part of the waste heat from the gas turbine is given to the combustion air to increase the performance of the gas turbine. However, this increase in performance by increasing the amount of gas beyond the amount corresponding to the combustion air is limited.
If you want to increase the performance of the gas turbine system significantly, more fuel could probably be fed to heat the correspondingly larger amount of gas. It turns out, however, that for the material of the steam superheater respectively. Air heater, the temperatures of the combustion gases after the evaporator become too high and endanger the system. On the other hand, if you stay within permissible limits with these temperatures, the heat after the evaporator is not sufficient to heat the significantly larger amount of gas, respectively. to overheat the steam sufficiently.
The present invention eliminates these disadvantages in a steam-gas thermal power plant according to the claim of the main patent in that the combustion gases are mixed with hot gases after releasing part of their combustion heat to the steam boiler. The hot gases can be taken from the combustion chamber in front of the evaporator, or the hot gases can be generated in a separate combustion chamber. Mixing can take place after the evaporator, after the superheater or at one or more other intermediate points in the steam circuit.
The accompanying drawing shows a schematically illustrated embodiment of the present invention. It means 1 the evaporator, 2 the feed line for the feed water, 3 the grate and 4 the steam superheater. The steam flows through the line 5 to the steam turbine G with the power machine 9 and is never beaten in the condenser 7.
The pump 8 conveys the feed water to boiler 1. 12 is the air heater. The heated compressed air works in the turbine 13, which drives the compressor 14 and the power machine 15.
The amount of air in the air turbine system is chosen to be greater than the amount of air required for combustion. Part of the exhaust air from the air turbine flows as combustion air through the line 16 to the grate 3. The line 17 guides the remaining air to the feed water preheater 10 '. If not all of the heat in the remaining air can be used to preheat the feedwater, the air can be passed on through a line 18 for other heating or warming purposes.
The air heater 12 is connected upstream of the steam superheater 4. The additional amount of air required to increase performance causes the flue gases to give off a large amount of heat for heating, so that the flue gases are cooled down too much and reach the steam superheater 4. In order to supply the latter with the necessary overheating, hot gases are removed from the grate 3 and fed through a line 19 between the air heater 12 and the steam superheater 4 to the combustion gases, which have already given some of their heat to the evaporator 1 and the air heater 12.
In the line 19, a control slide 20 is built. The supply of the hot gases is to be designed in such a way that a good mixture with the combustion gases takes place after the air heater 12.
The installation of the steam superheater and the air heater as well as the supply and mixing of the hot gases with the combustion gases of the steam boiler can be done in any suitable way. For example, the air heater 12 could also be connected downstream of the steam superheater 4. Hot gases can instead of after the air heater 12 also before the same or at any other point are added to the already cooled Ver combustion gases. In any case, special attention must be paid to the mixture so that no hot gases reach the steam superheater or the air heater.
In the example shown, the air turbine system is supplied with more heat by mixing it with hot gases, so that the output of the air turbine is increased even more. can be. This increases the performance of the entire system compared to a system without supplying hot gases to the combustion gases of the steam boiler.
