Device for keeping the temperature of superheated or reheated steam in steam generators constant
With modern steam generators, a constant outlet temperature of the superheated and reheated steam is required over a large output range. To achieve this requirement, the following main types of temperature control of superheated or reheated steam have hitherto been used.
Above all, the cooling of the superheated steam is used in coolers in which either saturated steam or water (including the feed water) are used as the cooling medium. Here, however, the cooler is clogged with salts and the cooling pipes corrode, through which impurities then get into the cooled steam.
In addition, the injection of feed water or a condensate into the steam is used. With this process there are strict requirements for the treatment of the feed water or condensate to be injected. In the event that a condensate is used, which is produced from the saturated steam in the drum in special condensers, this device is very expensive.
Likewise, a control method is known by increasing or decreasing the amount of combustion products which flows over the superheater or reheater. However, this regulation is very expensive because it requires the installation of subsequent heating surfaces, usually the economizer, which are not fully thermally utilized, which increases the dimensions of the steam generators and thus makes them more expensive. In the case of the use of recirculation of the combustibles, the steam generator is complicated by recirculation fans.
Control by means of swiveling burners is also used, which enable the flame to be shifted in the combustion chamber and thereby a change in the temperature of the combustion products in front of the superheater or reheater. In this case there is a displacement of the combustion core in the combustion chamber. If z. If, for example, a higher temperature of the superheated or reheated steam is to be achieved, the burners are set in their upper position. As a result, part of the area of the combustion chamber is switched off on the one hand, and on the other hand, especially when burning coal with a lower softening point of the ash, silting of the superheaters and the other heating surfaces on the side of the combustion products can occur, as well as a deterioration in the efficiency of the steam generator.
It has also already been proposed to arrange part of the superheater separately from the furnace of the boiler and to fire it separately.
All of the methods described above are characterized by a sluggishness of the regulation and by a relatively small regulation range.
All temperature controls of the reheated steam have the common disadvantage that they cause a simultaneous change in the superheat control or vice versa.
All disadvantages of the previously used temperature control of superheated or reheated steam are eliminated by the temperature regulator of the superheated and reheated steam for steam generators according to the invention, which is based on the fact that a small part is only sufficient to compensate for the temperature changes occurring as a result of brief fluctuations in the load on the steam generator the heating surface of the superheater or intermediate superheater can be heated directly by special burners for gas or liquid fuel, possibly for coal dust or a combination of these fuels, and independently of the main firing of the steam generator.
The directly heated part of the heating surface of the superheater, possibly the intermediate superheater, is arranged on the boiler unit, with the combustion products being led from the separate chamber into the main combustion chamber, possibly into the flue of the steam generator. This part of the superheater and reheater tubes is provided vertically or horizontally, according to the arrangement
