Description

Fig. $ ist eine Vorderansicht zu Fig. 2.

Vice for clamping sewing machine heads. The invention relates to a vice for clamping sewing machine heads according to the claim of the main patent, the clamping jaws of which bear the pivot pin is mounted in a knee joint support. The knee joint support itself is usefully mounted in a pivotable and lockable base. This vice ge equips it to hold the clamped sewing machine head in any desired position, which facilitates the repair work.

In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the vice according to the invention. The clamping jaws 7, their pivot pin 7 "and the base 1 are shown in the drawing with fine lines, while the knee joint support, consisting of the articulated parts 2 and 3, is shown in thick lines. Fig. 1 is a side view of the Screw stock, with inclined pivot pin of the clamping jaws. The joint upper part 3 with the pivot guide 3 ″ is mounted pivotably on the joint lower part 2 by means of the hinge pin 5. The entire joint support is also rotatable by means of its pivot 2 "in the base 1 and can be locked by means of the clamping lever 6 '.

The hinge pin 5 can be tightened so that the loaded joint upper part can be locked in any inclined position. In the pivot guide 3 ″ shown with dashed lines, the pivot 7 ″ with the two jaws 7 intended for clamping the sewing machine head is mounted in a lockable manner by means of a clamping lever 6. (See FIGS. 4 and 5 in the main patent.) In the joint support shown, the clamping jaw pivot pin shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 of the main patent can also be stored.

Fig. 2 is a side view corresponding to FIG. 1 of the knee joint support with the upper joint part 3 in the normal position (ho rizontal position) and with a subscript pivot pin 27 '.

Fig. $ Is a front view of FIG. 2. The knee joint support can be held at the desired height by means of the adjusting ring 4 which can be displaced on the pivot 2 ″.
