Beide Faltungen besitzen Nachteile.

Method for machine production of a prismatic packing and packing produced according to the method. The invention relates to a method for the machine production of a prismatic pack and a pack produced by the process Ren.
When wrapping prismatic objects by means of wrapping machines, two types of folding have been used up to now, namely the so-called side folding and the so-called portfolio folding.
Fig. 1 illustrates a finished side sole fold and Fig. 1a-le shows the successive partial folds for a side sole fold. Likewise, FIGS. 2 and 2a-2c show a finished portfold fold and the partial fold for it. The two types of folding and the mechanical means for performing the same can be assumed to be known.
Both folds have disadvantages. Decide on the type of folding to be used for a package z B. Condition and dimensions of the item to be packed.
For machine packaging z. B. the portfolio folding more favorable than the page closing fold. In the case of the porte feuillefaltung, most of the folding processes can be carried out when the object, including the cover sheet, is pushed through a folding box. After passing through the folding box, the pack is fairly largely ausgebil det (Fig. 2b).
There are only a few folding processes to be carried out that can be carried out using a few folding elements.
In the case of side folding, on the other hand, a large number of individually controlled folding elements must be provided. The folding box provided for this pack merely puts the envelope around in a U-shape. The object was (Fig. 1b). All other folding processes must be carried out by individually controlled folding elements. The machine is therefore not only more expensive, it also takes up considerably more space.
The method for the machine manufacture of a prismatic pack according to the present invention consists in that first the covering sheet placed on a base surface of a prism is pre-folded when this prism passes through a folding box in such a way that the covering sheet is the prima on the four mentioned Base area includes perpendicular side surfaces and protrudes at least partially over the still free base area of the prism, and that the tabs,
which protrude on the tjänbsseiten over the still free Ctrundfläclie of the prism, are turned over one after the other in the plane of the still open side of the pack and then the tabs protruding over the edges of the pack in the mentioned plane are placed on its end face.
One embodiment of the new process is used for the production of cardboard boxes.
Such cardboard boxes are used in the food industry for products of various kinds, such as soup deposits and the like. Such packs are then usually provided with a paper sleeve that is closed with side-closing folds. It is then required that the cardboard box is also produced with a side fold in order to enable the pack to be opened easily. The machine-based production of the cardboard box with side-folding is considerably more complicated than the production of a portfolio using your usual method.
The named embodiment of the new process simplifies this. The cardboard box with side fold is machine-made with the same simple means as required for the portfolio.
In the accompanying drawing, exemplary embodiments of the pack according to the invention and the method for producing the same #clieniatiscli are illustrated.
It show: Fi. 3 a device for the machinel production of the pack for a prismatic object, Fib. 4 different stages of folding iiiid the finished pack, FIG. 5 different stages of folding a cardboard box as well as the finished pack and FIG. G a device for the machine production of the cardboard box.
In a known manner, the object G representing a prism is brought to the fold on the broad lower ram 1 and the envelope H is drawn over a base area of the primate. The casing sheet H is advantageously approximately the same dimensions as for a side clip pack. The upper ram 2 then lowers,
so that the object G and the cladding sheet H between the two. Plungers 1 and 2 are retained (Fig. 3a). The two rams 1 and 2 move: I then move upwards in synchronism and push the object G and the casing sheet H through a folding box 3 known per se.
This folding box 3 is attached to the. The various folding walls 4, 5 and 6 place the parts of the cover sheet H protruding over the object G in a specific sequence against the vertical longitudinal sides and the frontal ropes and then place the resulting parts on the Front sides protruding tabs 7 and 8 on the two front sides (Fig. 4b).
After passing through the folding loads 3, the cover sheet H thus encompasses the object G on all sides, except for the bottom surface 9. The protruding tabs 13, 15, 16 protrude vertically downwards on all side surfaces over the still free Ctrundfläehe hezw. the floor area in front (Fig. 4b). At the end of the stroke of the plungers 1 and 2, the pre-folded pack reaches the label shown in dashed lines in FIG. 3a.
During the upward movement of object G and ram, the movable stop 10 has lowered into position 10 '. After the end of the ram stroke, the slide 11 moves towards the object G (FIG. 3b). The object G is thus held between the slide 11 and the movable stop 10. The support of the object G by the rams 1, 2 is now superfluous and these move away from the same and free up space for the further folding processes.
The folder 12 now moves under the object G (Fig. 3b) and places the downwardly protruding flap 13 on the bottom surface 9 of the same on the long side, d. H. so in the plane of the still open side of the pack. The object G is now supported from below by the folder 12, so that the stop 10 can move up again and release the object. The way for a further advance of the object G is now free. The slide 11 moves further forward and pushes the object G over the edge of the fixed folder 14. The flap 15, which protrudes downward on the long side, is also applied to the bottom surface of the object G.
Finally, the latter arrives in the position shown in FIG. 3c. At this point, the object G is encompassed by the envelope H on all sides. On the front sides are still the flaps 16 that were created in the previous folding over in a horizontal plane over the edges of the pack (FIG. 4c). Two vertically movable folders 17 now act on these flaps 16 and place them up against the face of the object G respectively. to the pack.
Instead of the verti cal folders 17 could also .gut pas send trained fixed metal sheets are seen in front of the slide 16 gradually put on the front surfaces of the object as the object G is advanced.
The folding of cardboard boxes takes place as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6: The cardboard or cardboard blank K, which is advantageously scored at the folds, is brought over the ram 220 by known means. The punch 21, which represents a prism, is then lowered onto the section K in such a way that it is held between the plunger and punch 21 and rests against one base surface of the prism. The ram 20 and ram 21 then move downwards in synchronism and push the cut K through a folding box 22, which is known per se and which is fastened in the machine frame.
Here, the various folding plates 23, 24, 25 and 2: 6 place the tabs of the section g projecting above the base of the stamp 21 in a certain order on the four vertical side surfaces of the prism 21. This creates an upwardly open box S, which emerges from the folding box 22, the stamp 21 on the bottom and on the side surfaces to summarize. Only the two tabs 27 and 28 still protrude vertically upwards over the still free base area of the prism 21.
In the white direct movement of the stamp and plunger, the box S formed above is inserted into a stand under the folding box 22 Be cher 29 and placed on the bottom 30. At this moment, the box S, the ram and the stamp are in the positions S ', 2-0' and 21 'shown in dash-dotted lines (FIG. 6a). Then the punch 21 moves out of the Schach tel S and returns to its starting point, while the plunger 20 executes an additional movement downwards, whereby it emerges from the cup 29.
In order to enable the plunger 20 to pass through, the bottom surface 30 of the cup 29 has a corresponding recess 31. The cup 2.9 is fastened to an endless conveyor element 32 (chain or the like) which is guided and driven in a known manner. This conveying element 32 carries a plurality of such cups 29 at regular intervals. The conveying element 32 is driven in such a way that the cups are moved forward step by step, from one stop to the next.
