Cone clamp for round cables and wires. For cables and wires made of light metal, especially aluminum, there is a need to make their connection terminals not only solderless. but also to be secured against vibration.
Because, as is well known, such connecting reinforcements gradually become loose as a result of permanent changes in the shape of the aluminum that occur over time and then heat up at the contact point, which quickly makes them unusable. To prevent this from happening, a whole series of proposals have been made and solutions have been found.
A known cone cycle consists of a threaded sleeve with a slotted cone onto which a nut with a matching hollow cone is screwed and the slotted cone is pressed onto the conductor.
However, in order to compensate for the shrinkage of the conductor, the conical nut must be tightened again and again. According to the invention, this is avoided by the fact that the pressing, pressure is exerted on the cone via an elastic member.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the invention, namely, FIG. 1 shows the longitudinal section and FIG. 2 shows the view of a clamp according to the invention and FIG. ss a variety, also in longitudinal section.
Over the cable end a a Ruhr b is first pushed in front of about the same clear diameter as the outer diameter of the cable. This tube has a shoulder with gripping surfaces, for example a square c, a thread d and a cone e, which is provided with a.chs@enparal elen or oblique lengths f.
The union nut, which is provided with an internal thread h and a hollow cone i , is screwed over it. The conical part of the nut has oblique longitudinal slots j, where the .Slitze f -des cone e and those j of the hollow cone i cross or, if they are parallel, are present in numbers without a common divider.
Finally, the nut g must also be provided with gripping surfaces.
If the terminal is used as a cable lug or as an end connector, then it is for example
