Description
Fig. 1 en est une vue en perspective.
On voit facilement qu'en .ouvrant la poi gnée en écartant les parties 1 M 2, comme re présenté en traits, mixtes sur la, fig. 3, on ouvre sur toute sa longueur le passage3, ce, qui permet l'introduction instantanée -dans le passage 3 d'un lien 9;
Handle for luggage. The present invention relates to a handle for carrying packages, which is characterized in that it is traversed longitudinally by a passage intended to receive a link, integral with the package to be carried,
and in that it com takes two parts articulated to one another along a longitudinal pivot axis, all -de way that by separating the two articulated parts, one. opens the passage over its entire length, which allows,
to instantly introduce the link. in this passage and, to remove it with the same ease.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, a form of execution of the handle, according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view. Fig. 2 is a front view thereof partially cut away.
Fig. 3 is a sectional view: according to III-III of FIG. 2.
The handle shown is a cylinder shape @ - drric @ of revolution, includes two. parts 1, 2 (in wood for example), of semicircular section, and is crossed by an axial passage 3.
Parts 1; 2 are articulated to one another, by means @de hinges 4, 5, along an axis die pivoting .longitudinal formed by a generatrix. 6 common to both parts. Passage 3 is formed by the juxtaposition of two cylindrical grooves 7, 8,
made @in the longitudi- nal plane faces of the two parts X, 2.
It is easily seen that by opening the handle by removing the parts 1 M 2, as shown in mixed lines in, FIG. 3, the passage 3 is opened over its entire length, this, which allows the instantaneous introduction -in passage 3 of a link 9;
integral with a package to carry. Likewise ,, .the link 9 can be removed immediately by .ouverture & the handle.
It is understood that the link 9 can be flexible (string, rope), or semi-rigid or rigidje (wire or metal rod).
The handle comprising the gods parts 1, 2 could be only approximately cylindrical, and have grooves to receive the fingers of the hand holding the handle.
In the example shown, the handle is intended to be held substantially horizontally in the hand.
A variant of this handle, intended to be held substantially vertically, may have a shape of revolution with a bulge at one of its ends, constituting its upper part.
