Fig. 1 ein erstes und in
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Ansicht der bisher be kanntenAusführungsartund
Soil cultivation implement for removing weeds.
The main patent relates to a soil cultivation device for removing weeds, which exerts a depth effect, with a steel plate having triangular teeth arranged on a fork-shaped holder with a handle.
A further embodiment of the device according to the invention is described in additional patent no. 229551, namely the shape of the tooth plate, the end edges of which run parallel to one another over its entire length from the outer tooth tips perpendicular to the upper edge of the plate. The previous embodiments, be they skinned from old cutter bars of mowing machines or made from new material, all have sharp, receding corners between the teeth, which experience has shown to have disadvantages.
On the one hand, there are jumping corners at these, especially if the tooth shape is chosen to be slim and so these corners form a small angle, the weeds hang and then have to be removed again by knocking off or clearing out by hand. Another disadvantage is the relatively low breaking strength of the plate between its upper edge and the re-entrant sharp corners, since it is known that such sharp re-entrant corners promote the formation of cracks. To avoid such risk of breakage, the corners are rounded according to the specification.
It is then also possible, with the same strength and material properties, to save on the plate material by making the plate thinner than in previously known designs and also having less height of the full plate, i.e. H. a smaller distance between the re-entrant corners and the upper edge of the plate is required.
Furthermore, the connection points of the fork-shaped holder on the plate are arranged so that the strength of the plate against the resistance during Bodenbe processing in the middle and at both ends of the plate is at least approximately the same. So far, the connection points of the fork were chosen near the side plate ends, so that if there was a large) resistance in the ground, the plate would bulge so far that it broke. With the fork attachment according to the designation, the plate may also yield somewhat at both ends. The deflection in the middle is not as strong as before. For this reason, too, material can be saved with the same strength of the device.
Finally, material savings can be made by shortening the fork ends.
The accompanying drawing shows in
Fig. 1 a first and in
2 shows a view of a second exemplary embodiment of the plate of the device according to the invention, the attachment points of the holder being indicated by circles.
Fig. 3 shows a view of the previously known embodiment and
4 shows an identical representation of the device according to the invention with special consideration of the connection between holder and plate.
1 is a plate according to the first example with three and according to the second with five teeth 2. Of course, the plate can also be equipped with two, four or more teeth. The number of teeth depends primarily on the required depth effect and the nature of the soil. For example, if there is a greater depth of action, for example in vineyards, you will use many smaller teeth with few but large teeth and for hard ground where a great depth action is not an option.
3 are the attachment points for the fork-shaped holder 4 with handle 5.
In FIGS. 3 and 4, the deformation lines t are dashed! the top of the plate is exaggerated. This is to make clear that the previous method of fastening the fork ends near the plate ends resulted in a significantly greater deflection of the plate center than in the arrangement according to the invention, whereby the same material thicknesses are assumed.
