Description
Verfahren zur Abtrennung von Fruchtsäuren aus noch andere Stoffe enthaltenden Lösungen.
Das Verfahren gemäss vorliegender Erfin- dung bezweckt die Abtrennung von Frucht- sauren, wie z. B. Äpfel-und Citronensäure, aus noch andere Stoffe enthaltenden Lösungen, wie z. B. Pflanzensäften und deren Ver arbeitungsprodukten, und ist dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass die Lösungen dieser Säuren mit einem anionenaustauschenden Kunstharz in Berührung gebracht werden, worauf die Säu- ren wieder aus dem Austauscher entfernt werden.
Äpfel-und Citronensäure sind in sehr vielen Pflanzensäften enthalten. Während bisher Apfelsäure praktisch überhaupt nicht gewonnen werden konnte und sich die Gewinnung der Citronensäure nur aus konzen- trierteren Lösungen lohnte, ermöglicht es das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren, die beiden Säu- ren auch aus verdünntenLösungen zuisolieren.
Somit können z. B. Schlempen und auch rohe Säfte von Früchten und Beeren zur Gewinnung dieser wertvollen Säuren herangezogen werden. Mit Vorteil wird das Verfahren auch angewandt in Verbindung mit einer Entsäue- rung zu saurer Säfte der Getränkeindustrie.
Die zu entsäuernden Lösungen werden am besten durch eine Schichb des gekörnten anionenaustauschenden Kunstharzes geleitet.
Darauf werden die Säuren durch Alkalien oder durch starke Säuren dem Austauscher wieder entzogen oder daraus vertrieben. Die resultierenden reinen und zweckmässigerweise konzentrierten Lösungen können dann noch weiter konzentriert o der zur Trockne gebracht werden.
PATENTANSPRUCH :
Verfahren zur Abtrennung von Fruchtsäuren aus noch andere Stoffe enthaltenden Losungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lösungen mit einem anionenaustauschenden Kunstharz in Berührung gebracht werden, und dass darauf die Säuren wieder aus dem Austauscher entfernt werden.

The purpose of the method according to the present invention is to separate fruit acids, such as B. malic and citric acid, from solutions containing other substances, such as. B. vegetable juices and their processing products, and is characterized in that the solutions of these acids are brought into contact with an anion-exchanging synthetic resin, whereupon the acids are removed from the exchanger.
Many vegetable juices contain malic and citric acid. While until now malic acid could practically not be obtained at all and the recovery of citric acid was only worthwhile from more concentrated solutions, the method according to the invention makes it possible to isolate the two acids also from dilute solutions.
Thus z. B. Schlempen and raw juices from fruits and berries are used to obtain these valuable acids. The process is also advantageously used in conjunction with deacidification of acidic juices in the beverage industry.
The solutions to be deacidified are best passed through a layer of the granular, anion-exchanging synthetic resin.
The acids are then removed from the exchanger or driven out of the exchanger by alkalis or strong acids. The resulting pure and expediently concentrated solutions can then be further concentrated or brought to dryness.

Process for the separation of fruit acids from solutions containing other substances, characterized in that the solutions are brought into contact with an anion-exchanging synthetic resin, and that the acids are then removed again from the exchanger.
