I fuel pump, especially for fuel pumps. The invention relates to a fuel feed pump, in particular for internal combustion engines, the pump housing of which apart from the piston guide bore and:
the two holes for the inlet and outlet one more hole each to accommodate a hand pump and one. Has suction valve holder that dips into a pot that is tightly and easily detachable attached to the pump housing, the axes of the three first-mentioned bores lying at least approximately in one plane.
A pump of this type can be built cheaply and in a particularly compact manner and, compared to known pumps, can be manufactured with relatively few operations if, according to the invention, one ensures that the axes of all five bores meet at least approximately at one point, the axes of the bores for the hand pump and for the suction valve holder coincide and are perpendicular to the plane in which the axes of the three other holes are at least approximately, and that the pressure valve is in one connected to the outlet hole.
Fastening screw for the pressure line is housed.
An example of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely FIG. 1 shows a section through the feed pump with an attached hand pump, together with an injection pump that is only indicated, FIG. 2 shows a partial section according to II-II of FIG .
1 with an injection pump is referred to, which with the eccentric 3 located on its shaft 2 .drives a feed pump flanged to its housing. The housing of the För pump is denoted by 4. A housing bore 5 is used to guide the one-piece 'piston, and plunger 6. The end of the part 6 designed as a plunger is slotted and takes a plunger roller 7 in the slot, which interacts with the eccentric 3 to.
A helical spring 8 presses on the other end and returns the piston 6 during the suction stroke. This spring is supported with its end facing away from the piston on a plate 1 () let into the pump housing wall with a stem 9.
A dip tube 12 is screwed into a bore 11 of the housing and is surrounded concentrically by a sieve cylinder 13. The immersion tube protrudes into a pot 14 which is screwed tightly to the pump housing and therefore easily removable. It also contains the inlet valve 15. A housing bore 16, which extends as an outlet to the working chamber of the pump, receives the fastening screw 18 containing a pressure valve 17 for the pressure line 19.
The suction line 22 coming from the fuel tank (not shown) is connected to the housing 4 with a fastening screw 21 that penetrates into an inlet bore 20. The inlet bore 20 i> t ül: @e r a slot 31 in the housing t Fis-. ?) connected to the space of the pot 14.
The axes of the bores 5, 16, 21i all intersect in the pump chamber at one point and are also in one plane. The axis of the immersion tube 12 is perpendicular to this plane.
At the top of the pump housing, a hand pump is screwed into a bore 23 that runs through to the bore 5, that is to the working chamber of the pump and is coaxial with the bore 11, the connection nipple 24 of which is in the drawn rest position by a ball 25 is closed on the handle pin 26. The piston is attached to a piston rod 2'7, at the outer end of which a handle 28 is arranged.
In the position shown, this is screwed to a C-thread piece 30 provided on the cylinder 29. Naeli Loosening this screw connection can operate the pump. without the need for any additional valves.
