Drive motor on small machines. The invention relates to a drive motor on small machines such. B. on sewing machines, and is characterized in that the motor housing consisting of magnetically insensitive material is cast onto the stator lamination packet and designed as a detachable cover adapted to the housing of the small machine, in which a self-contained chamber for receiving a regulating starter is formed and which holds one end bearing for the motor shaft and at least two eyes, in which the externally accessible collector brush holders are detachably inserted.
The motor housing made of magnetically insensitive material and cast onto the stator lamination can expediently consist of a light metal injection molding. For the installation of the rotor and the carbon pressure regulating system, a lateral opening can be provided in the motor housing, both of which can be locked by a common cover plate containing the second end bearing of the rotor.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown. It shows: Fig. 1 a sewing machine with the built-on drive motor in elevation, the drive connection between the motor and the sewing machine being within the housing of the sewing machine and the motor, Fig. 2 a part of the side view of another embodiment of this drive motor, with the drive connection between the motor and the sewing machine is outside the housing of the sewing machine and the motor,
3 shows a cross-section on a larger scale along the line A-A in FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 also shows a cross-section on a larger scale along the line B-B in FIG.
On the base plate 1, which can be made of one piece with the Ge housing 2 of a sewing machine, there is an electric motor which is attached to the sewing machine. The shaft 3 of this motor is directed parallel to the main shaft 4 (Fig. 2) of the sewing machine and is connected to it through an opening 5 in the sewing machine housing, for example via a belt or other suitable means inside the housing of the motor and the sewing machine direct drive connection. The drive of the main shaft 4 through the motor shaft 3 can, as in the example of FIG. 2, also outside the motor and sewing machine housing, for.
B. filier a belt 6, take place.
The drive motor is in a motor housing 7, which is formed out as a detachable cover adapted to the machine housing. This housing-like cover 7, which is attached to the machine housing 2 by two screws 8 and made of a magnetically insensitive material, e.g. B. from a light metal injection can be, is poured onto the stator lamination stack 9 of the motor.
Above the stator, it has a closed chamber 10 for receiving a carbon pressure regulating starter (not shown). The end wall of the ge housing-like cover 7 located on the collector side contains a La ger 11 for the motor shaft, while the second bearing 12 is located on a detachable cover plate 13, which is arranged in the opposite end face of the motor housing th openings 9 and 10 for completes the installation of the rotor and the carbon pressure regulating device.
The cover 7 also contains a sunk-in socket 14 for the power supply to the motor and two one of the diametrically opposite eyes 15 in which the externally accessible holders 16 of the collector brushes 17 sit. These Bür stenhalter are held th by closure screws 18 made of insulating material on their seat. The above type has the advantage that the electric motor is made for you alone and in the form of a cover adapted to the sewing machine housing, in which it is permanently installed can be attached to this sewing-in-nose housing.
The cover, designed as a motor housing, can be adapted to any housing shape of a small machine to be driven, so that the motor can also be used as a drive for other small machines.
