Description

Scheibenbremse.

Disc brake. It is known to achieve the braking effect in disc brakes by rolling up balls that are in conical recesses between the brake discs' s. So that the balls roll up, a twisting of the brake discs against each other is necessary. So far, this has been done by a loading lever that was arranged directly on the brake discs.

According to the invention, a Bremsbetäti supply is proposed in which the two brake discs are rotated ge against each other by means of a wedge lever. This wedge lever can be operated by pushing or pulling, depending on its design.

This wedge lever allows the case of the previous articulated lever and thus a more even braking force, which is advantageous for the entire braking process. In addition, the wedge lever only needs to take up very little space.

The drawing illustrates the subject of the invention in two exemplary embodiments, namely in the brake according to FIG. 1 the wedge lever is actuated by a pushing movement and in the one according to FIG. 2 by a pulling movement.

On the brake disc 1 with the brake lining 2 is a roller 3 and on the brake disc 4 with the brake lining 5 is a roller 6; solidifies. The wedge lever 7 can be displaced between the two rollers, which fork-shaped comprises the intermediate lever 8 and is held in place by the pin 9. The operating force is transmitted via the operating lever 10, which is connected to the stationary brake flange 12 by the bolt 11, and via the intermediate lever 8 to the wedge lever 7 and presses (FIG. 1) or. pulls (Fig. 2) this between the on the brake.

Discs seated rollers 3 and 6 through, so that the brake discs are rotated against each other so that the balls 13 roll up in the conical recesses 14 of the molded pieces 15 and the brake discs 1 and 4 are pressed against the rotating parts.

PATENT CLAIM: Mechanically operated disc brake with balls lying between the brake discs in conical recesses, in particular for motor vehicles, characterized by a wedge lever which, when the brake is actuated, is activated by a main operating lever connected to the stationary brake pad via an intermediate lever between two the brake disks sit the rollers and thereby rotates the brake disks against each other so that the balls roll up in the conical recesses and the brake disks are pressed against the parts to be braked.
