Viewer for motion pictures. The present invention relates to a viewing apparatus for Laufbil the, in particular for narrow films, and has the characteristic features that its housing in the form. a desk is formed, on: whose inclined surface a viewing matt disc, on both sides of which walls film spool hatch and on the upper part of which the film guide is arranged.
To achieve a favorable utilization of light, provision is made in a preferred embodiment to use an electric lamp with a compact filament, e.g. B. a Bilux-Osram low-voltage lamp that works practically table like a point light source. For better symmetrical use of the space, the stage in front of Teil.liaft is arranged at an angle to the main film direction.
Expediently i.at one: the one side: the pressure plate forming the film carrier with one of its ends pivotable on a slotted pin located on the housing and removable from the pin. In this embodiment, the pressure plate winds through: the spring action of this pin is held on it and at the same time pressed against the film by a spring located in it, which presses with one end on the housing and with the other end on the plate: a corresponding tour for: the film is made.
At the upper parts of the housing a marking device acting through the pressure plate is advantageously seen before. On the upper parts of the housing, a film kit gauge is also conveniently arranged to be removable. To avoid sidelights, the screen is conveniently sunk into the inclined desk level.
In order to avoid incorrectly inserting the film, it is advisable to: The film rollers are covered on one side by protruding ribs. The film reel holders attached to the sides are advantageously arranged to be removable.
An exemplary embodiment of the object of the invention is shown in the drawings, specifically showing: h'ig. 1 shows a side view of the entire device, FIG. 2 shows the removable pressure plate in an oblique view, FIG. 3 shows the upper part of the desk with marking device in section, FIG. 4 shows the attachment of the pressure plate partially in section.
On an inclined plane 1 of a desk-shaped housing 2 there is a deeply sunk 1 blade 3. Coil holders 4 and 5 are fastened to both side walls of the housing by means of screws 6 and 7 that can be easily removed. The film 8 runs from a take-up drum 9 respectively. l (-) via a guide roller 11 through an imaging stage 12 via a toothed roller 13 driven by the film and via a guide roller 14.
Underneath the guide rollers standing side ribs 32 and 33 are attached, which prevent the film from rolling on the lower - wrong - side of the guide rollers 11 and 14 and thus contribute to the correct insertion of the film above the film rollers.
The picture stage 12 is formed on the lower side by a picture window frame 15 and on the upper side by a Andruelzplatte 16 and is arranged at an angle to the main film rotation.
The pressure plate 16 is placed on a slotted pin 17 on the housing, which freely penetrates into an opening 18 intended for it (FIGS. 1 and 4) until it hits a button 19 arranged perpendicular to it ,. Which compresses the pin against the suspension caused by the slot and thus a: Storage secured against unintentional pulling out of the plate - the plate 16 on the pins 1.7 guaranteed.
On the plate 16 there is a helical spring 20 sunk into it, the one end of which is at the bottom of the perforation provided for it, and the other end of which is a bolt, also rounded on the outside, which can be displaced in the perforation touched. When the plate is placed on the pin 17, the bolt 21 is automatically pressed against the action of the spring 20 by the housing, whereby the plate is pressed against the film.
Above the housing is a detachably attached putty gauge 23. Furthermore, a marking device is provided (Fug. 3), which consists of a button 24 with a pin ') 5 The tip 26, which is more like a spring, acts, whereby a corresponding marking takes place on the film.
Inside the housing there is a point-shaped light source known per se - the lamp 27 - whose light binds from a reflector 28 through the film 8 via the glass prism which is known per se as an optical adjustment. 34 and the optics 35 (Fig. 3) is radiated onto the mirrors 29 and 30, which are inclined to one another. The picture then appears in the correct height and side on the focusing screen 3.
A transformer 31 serving to convert the normal current into low-voltage current is accommodated in the lower part of the housing.
The advantages of the apparatus shown are that the housing is used on all sides. A comfortable and quick insertion of the film is possible and a bright illumination of the picture is achieved.
The design shown has the advantage that it is an inclined plane. has a suitable inclination for viewing and allows space for a larger screen, the sides offer a convenient attachment option for the holders of the two film reels and that the film guide can be conveniently arranged on the upper part.
The space enclosed by the housing offers space not only for the optics, but also for a transformer, by means of which the normal electrical current is converted into low current. which feeds a punctiform source of light.
Lamps in which the light is emitted from a point have great advantages for motion picture viewers. Due to their compact filament shape, such lamps enable much better use of light,
so that a significantly brighter image is achieved even with a lower light intensity compared to a normal current lamp and thus a larger viewing area is made possible.
As a result of the arrangement of the film kit gauge 23, in order to be cut or cemented, the film only needs to be removed from its guide with a handle and placed a little higher on the film kit gauge.
