Gewindeschneidkopf.
Thread cutting head. The present invention has the subject -a thread cutting head, which carries a rotatable part, which jaws the thread cutting and a cutting jaws for adjusting the thread, rotatable cam disc, and a fixed part in which the rotatable part is guided by means of Ge threaded cartridge.
The present invention consists in that en taking part in a rotation of the rotatable part of the thread cutting head, but at the fixed part of the thread cutting head contain an axial displacement secured guide element and the cam adjusting the tapping jaws are designed in such a way that one of the two of the guide element and The parts formed by the cam have two circumferentially extending, segment-shaped recesses and the other part has two guides,
one of which runs obliquely and the other parallel to the axis of the thread cutting head, and that an adjustable and lockable organ engages in the two segment-shaped recesses provided on one part, one of these organs in, one and the other Organ in the: other guidance of the other part intervenes, the whole in such a way that, if the organ engaging in the inclined guidance is established, then at:
a rotation .des rotatable part of the thread cutting head, the cam undergoes a relative rotation with respect to the rotatable part, and a conical thread is trimmed, while with established, in the parallel to the longitudinal axis of the thread cutting head ver running guide engrädendem organ when rotating the rotatable part know Relative rotation the cam takes place against the rotatable part and a.
cylindrical thread is cut.
In one embodiment of the invention, the two guides are provided with an outlet at least on their two sides, in such a way that the cam plate is rotated at the end of the thread cutting process in such a way that the thread cutting jaws protrude from the workpiece.
Furthermore, in this embodiment, the cam is supported against your rotatable part of the thread cutting head by means of a ball bearing to reduce the friction resistances between the cam and its rotatable part of the thread cutting head.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, and it shows: Fig. 1 the thread cutting head in front views, Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through the thread cutting head according to the section line AA in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a cross section through the thread cutting head according to the section line BB in Fig. 2, fing. 4 drawn the guide element influencing the cam in developed form.
In Fig. 1 and 2, 1 denotes the fixed part of the thread cutting head. which is held in a fixed chuck 2 ge. A threaded cartridge 3 provided with a nut thread is arranged on the stationary part 1 of the thread cutting head so that it can be interchanged. The rotatable part 4 of the thread cutting head, which is provided with an external thread, is guided in the threaded cartridge 3. In the rotatable part 4 of the Ge thread cutting head radially adjustable thread cutting jaws 5 are provided at the right front end.
On the back of the same grooves 5 'are provided, in which the end-face curve pieces 6 of the cam 7 engage. The cam 7 is supported by means of a ball bearing 8 against the rotatable part 4 of the thread cutting head, and it has the backwardly extended, cylindrically shaped part of the cam two circumferentially ver running segment-shaped recesses 9 and 10. The part 4, which is in part 1 Eats guided by means of the threaded cartridge 3, thus carries the cam disk 7.
In the segment-shaped recess 9, is; a means - screw nut releasable and lockable screw bolt 11 is provided, the radially inwardly directed end of a rotatable ratchet 12 carries. Likewise, in the segment-shaped recess 10, a screw bolt 13 which can be released and locked by means of screw is provided, whose radially towards a downward end carries a rotatable roller 1.4. On its own cylindrical extension of the fixed part 1 of the thread cutting head is a hollow cylinder gestal ended guide element 15 loosely rotatably ge superimposed.
The same has on its rearward end a radially outwardly directed flange 16 which is secured against axial displacement between an end part 17 of the fixed part of the thread cutting head and a screw nut 18 screwed to the latter, but in such a way that it. can rotate freely.
The guide element 15 has at the front end a radially inward, ge directed flange 19 which has two radially projecting lugs 20 downward. The noses 20 are .in grooves 21 provided on the rotatable part 4 of the Ge thread cutting head.
In the event of a rotary movement of the rotary part 4 of the thread cutting head, the guide element 1.5 takes part in this rotary movement; however, it is prevented from axial movement, as described above.
Two guides 22 and 23 are provided on the outer circumference of the guide element 15. The guide 22 runs parallel to the axis of the thread cutting head and the guide 23 under an inclined wedge to the axis of the thread cutting head. The roller 12 of the visual screw bolt 11 engages in the guide 22 and the roller 14 of the screw bolt 13 engages in the guide 23.
If now the cam 7 rotates ver according to the selected thread diameter and the screw nut of the screw benbalzens 11 tightened, the roller 12 is guided in the guide 22 and a cylindrical Ge thread cut when the rotatable part 4 of the thread cutting head is rotated.
If, on the other hand, the screw nut of the screw bolt 13 is tightened firmly, while the screw nut of the screw bolt 11 is loosened at the same time, the roller 14 is guided in the guide 23,
so that when the rotatable part 4 of this thread cutting head is rotated, the cam disk 7 experiences a relative rotation with respect to the latter, the thread cutting jaws being adjusted and a conical thread being cut. The guides 22 and 23 expediently have an outlet 24 at least on one of their sides, such that the cam 7 is rotated at the end of the thread cutting process in such a way that the thread cutting jaws protrude from the workpiece.
In the embodiment described above, the segment-shaped recesses 9 and 10 in the cam and the two guides 22 and 23 in the guide element 15 are provided. However, a reverse arrangement would also be possible, such that the segment-shaped recesses in the guide element 15 and the guides on the cam disk 7 are provided.
The screw bolts are then appropriately adjusted and secured in the segment-shaped recesses of the Füh approximately element 15, while the nuts penetrate the guides, which in this case are designed as continuous slots, in the cylindrical wall of the cam disk 7. Instead of radially guided thread cutting jaws, it would also be possible to use thread cutting jaws that are attached to levers that can swing and move from the cam disk.
The flange 16 of this guide element 15 could be supported against the fixed part 1 of the Ge thread cutting head by means of eifies ball bearings, for example in the way that the cam 7 is supported against .dem rotatable part 4 of the thread cutting head; or it could be between the flange 16 and the parts 17 and 18 each one designed as a ball bearing tracer. Stock to be provided.
