Drum for cleaning and sorting agricultural products. The invention relates to a Trom mel for cleaning and sorting agricultural products, with a frame formed from longitudinal members and these connecting cross rings for the Trom mel, which has a hollow '9reflenstump for storage at the discharge end, which is connected by spokes to this end of the drum .
Drums have already been used for cleaning or sorting agricultural products, but they are seen to be long enough and "with appropriately thin edges" because they were not sufficiently rigid for the considerable loads to be absorbed.
They required strong, rigid shafts and multiple bearings, whatever. has a disruptive effect on the flow of goods. Fs drums for cleaning and sorting agricultural products are already known, which have a non-rigid, from a rigid, resting at the entry end on support rails, and at the discharge end by means of a hollow shaft stub connected to it by spokes,
bear from length and these connecting cross rings formed scaffold worn coat be seated. But even here the deficiencies are only partially eliminated, in particular this design is not yet stiff enough to allow .longer drums to be built so lightly and rigidly that they can be stored with a one-sided shaft stub avoiding a continuous axis.
Furthermore, the supply of washing water and other liquids often requires cumbersome and annoying special parts.
In contrast, the invention consists in that the drum frame and the spokes consist of tubes.
Such an arrangement enables the drum to be given a high level of stability and rigidity while the drum is actually low in weight due to the tubular shape of the frame and the spokes. In addition, the tubes of the frame and the spokes offer the possibility of using them to supply liquids at the same time.
In order to achieve a sufficiently firm support against one-sided arranged, the drum cantilevered pegs for particularly long drums, the spokes connecting the frame and the pegs can lie in groups in two or more planes.
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention, namely: Fig. 1 is a side view, Fig. 2 is a special connection of the drum shell with a bearing pin. According to Fig. 1, the drum support frame consists of tubular legs 1, which are connected by tubular steel sleeves 2 and crossbars. The sieve drum has parallel lying lowing rings 8 and 9, which are made of oval tubes.
The rings 8 and 9 are connected by longitudinal tubes 10, which also have an oval cross-section. The connection is made by welding. The tubular frame 8, 9, 10 is covered with a sieve with a mesh that increases in width towards the discharge end.
The discharge end of the drum is carried by a stub shaft 12 by means of the spokes 13, which alternately lead into different cross-sectional planes of the stub shaft and are welded to this like the last drum ring, so that they are a very rigid structure like two nested cones represent.
The stub shaft 12 of the drum runs in a bearing 14 which is pivoted about a pin 15. can, which is attached to a lifting tube 16, which: on the other hand, is height adjustable in an outer tube 17 by a handwheel Spindeltm @ e @ b 18; this allows the drum to be set to any desired inclination for conveying the goods.
At the entry end, which can optionally lie on rollers 5, a Gutzufuhr channel 19 is required a piece protruding into the drum with support tubes. 20 attached to the support structure 1, 2. In view of its necessary rigidity, the whole frame can also be moved as a roller frame, for example, by further Eek reinforcements.
It can also use the usual baffles to catch the through. the sieve mesh of the essential goods as well as with hooks for hanging sows, or with. A water channel can also be used as a snacking drum on the bars 2 with a water level reaching into the drum. Especially for @ 'Claachzweche can.
the tubes forming the drum can also be set up directly as feed channels for water, chemical cleaning fluids or other chemical components by being connected to a feed line through the spokes 13 and the Weflentump 12 by means of a stuffing box .
The drum can hold protective walls and conveyor or lifting blades as required. and the screen covering can be interchangeable or can be replaced by other drum casings desired for other purposes. Likewise, the good external accessibility allows the creation of transverse walls to intercept the processed goods. at any point.
In the case of particularly long, free-floating drums, the bearing 14a is made very long according to FIG. 2 and, in addition to the lifting piece 15, 16, is also held on a fixed joint 21 so that the inclination can be adjusted here as well.
The spokes 13a are arranged here in conical surfaces inclined at different angles to the axis, so that they form triangles in pairs; each pair can also be replaced by a fin-like circular cross-section.
