Fig. 2 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch die Spule.
Coil insulation for electrical machines and apparatus. The invention relates to a coil insulation for electrical machines and apparatus, that is to say to an insulation that is created, for example, by winding or wrapping around the coil consisting of wires or strands; comes. According to the invention, the insulation is at least partially made of polyfisobutylene film. This film can cover the coil in one or more layers. Since it shows a rubber-like behavior, it can be applied to the coil under tension.
He then holds the ladder bundles of the spook tightly together and hugs them tightly.
It is advisable to produce the insulation not only from a polyisobutylene film layer but also from a layer of paper, pressboard, fabric, mica, micanite, glass film, cellulose triacetate or the like, or to have such layers alternate several times. The film can be glued to these layers: If you want a moisture-proof cover, you can treat the insulation with a solvent.
Solvent of polyisobutylene is a liquid, for example trichloro, to be understood that forms a sticky paste with this substance. Thus, the overlapping film parts can be glued together.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. The coil 1, Fig. 1, is alternately wound with tapes 2 made of polyisobutylene film and tapes 3 made of Pa pier or the like. However, borrowings 12, 13 of these substances can also be placed or pressed around the coil. Fig. 2 shows a cross section through the coil.
The invention offers. The advantage that the insulation, especially if inorganic insulating material is used in addition to the polyisobutylene film, retains its excellent electrical and mechanical strength in the long term, even at higher temperatures.
Even when exposed to temperatures of 120 and more, the polyisobutylene film remains permanently elastic, does not flow and does not become brittle. Since this film is also glow-proof, the insulation can be used safely for high-voltage machines or the like. It can consist of thin layers of insulation.
Treatment with a solvent, for example trichloro, bonds the insulation to form a moisture-proof cover; it can therefore also be used for machines in wet plants and especially for low-voltage machines. Because of the elasticity of the film, the insulation clings well to the coil. If the stretchability of the film interferes, it can be more or less completely canceled by gluing the film, with paper, fabric or the like. The insulation also shows great chemical resistance.
When producing the polyisobutylene film, a high-melting wax, paraffin or resin can also be mixed with the polyisobutylene in smaller quantities.
