For the production of asymmetric complexes in general another method is indicated to uniform products and not mixtures with a substantial portion of symmetrical,

Among the compounds are above all reaction products of formaldehyde and 2,4,6-triamine-1,3,5-triazine, usually called melamine, . Such condensation products can contain one up to 6 methylol groups, usually they represent mixtures of different compounds.

Substituted guanylmelamines can also be used for the production of formaldehyde condensation products.
The salts of the formaldehyde condensation products, which can also be used instead of the free basic condensation products, can be derived from inorganic acids such as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid, or from organic acids, in particular from low molecular weight aliphatic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid, Derive pionic acid or glycolic acid.
In addition to aminoplasts , the aqueous preparations used in the present the process can also also </ B > further substances e.g. Plasticizers for the textile material material. For example a latex of a polymerisation plastic can also be added. The polymers can be homopolymers or mixed polymers. They are preferably derived from monomeric compounds with the Atom grouping

The aqueous preparations can now be applied to the textile fiber materials in a conventional manner known are, advantageous at room temperature or at most at least slightly elevated temperature, 2.B. between 10 and 40o C. The method is particularly for continuous Labor,
e.g. for printing on fabrics with roller printing or for impregnation on Fculard.
The impregnation solutions can be used as additional additions *, e.g. Contain wetting or dispersing agents. For the print post the usual thickeners, never starch, tragacanth, methyl cellulose can be used, and here can as well other substances, e.g. hydrotropic agents such as urea are added .
The quantitative proportions of the dyes and aminoplasts to be used in the present process, and also of the auxiliaries that may be additionally used, can vary within wide limits. The amount of the dyes essentially depends on the desired color strength. The amount of the aminoplasts should in general not be less than that of the dye, and it is usually recommended </ B > to choose the quantity ratio so that
that the amount of the aminoplast is a multiple of the amount of dye, or preparations should be used which are listed in </ B > 1000 parts contain about 20 to 200 parts of aminoplast. After the preparation containing the dye and the aminoplast, as well as the catalyst, have been applied to the fiber material, the whole is subjected to the hardening .
Before hardening, drying is expediently , advantageously at room temperature or by heating, warming to temperatures at which no </ B > significant hardening takes place, for example to below 1000 C.
For textile materials made of regenerated cellulose it is generally recommended that the dyeings or not be applied immediately after the Parb> preparations have been applied to dry them, but for some time, e.g. 1 to 6 hours, leave damp. In this way, the colors and prints are generally stronger and / or more even in shade.
The hardening takes place expediently on the usual apparatus with or without a nozzle device by simply heating to the required temperature e.g. on such a surface between 120 and 1800 C or higher. It can also be hardened with the help of infrared rays. Depending on the type of the heat exposure, very short curing times, e.g. 10 to 30 seconds are enough.
Finally, it is also possible to harden without pre-drying, so that drying and hardening take place at the same time. Depending on the properties and the amount of the used aminoplast and depending on whether the aqueous </ B > Preparation still contains other means , additional effects can be achieved with the present method, for example crease resistance, shrink resistance ability,
permanent calender effects, changing the feel of the textiles. or hydrophobization. To remove unfixed dye, catalyst and other unfixed substances, it is recommended that fibers after hardening in the usual way, eg by treatment at 40 to 800 C in a solution,
the soap, soap and - sodium carbonate or a synthetic detergent, e.g. an ethylene oxide addition product of p-alkylphenol or 2-heptadecyl-N-benzy-benzimidazole-disulfonic acid sodium, .
The dyeings and prints obtained by the present process are distinguished by good nasal smoothness properties, in particular good fastness to washing The Belgian patent specification 568 725 describes a method for dyeing and printing fibrous materials,
and this known method is characterized in that the fibers are impregnated with aqueous preparations which on the one hand have water-soluble dyes, the at least one N-alkylol group or which can be converted into such a group ,
and on the other hand, contain at least aminoplasts dispersible in water, subjected to hardening. Chromium and cobalt-containing dyes are not mentioned in the Belgian patent specification. Furthermore, it with regard to this patent specification must be </ B> to be looked upon utterly,
that the present method washfast colors are obtained, although the here to be used Ehroro - and cobalt-containing dyes fe must not have any substituents which can be converted into N-alkylol groups and are therefore more easily accessible. In the following examples mean parts,

Instead of the methylated hexamethylol melamine, it is also possible to use 200 parts of a 50% strength aqueous solution of tetramethylolacetylene urea > the and also receives wash-fast colorations.

This is followed by washing at 500 C for 5 minutes in a solution which contains, in 1000 parts of water, 2 parts of anhydrous sodium carbonate and 2 parts of an adduct of 9 moles of ethylene oxide with 1 mole of conylphenol.
