Description
Dispositif obturateur pour le passage d'un axe de -machine hydraulique. Dans les installations de turbines hydrau liques, par exemple, dans lesquelles la tur bine est constamment noyée, il faut, lorsque des réparations sont nécessaires au joint d'étanchéité habituel entourant l'axe de la turbine, procéder à l'obturation des canaux d'entrée et de sortie de l'eau et au pompage de cette dernière,
ce qui constitue un tra vail particulièrement long et coûteux lorsque les canaux en cause doivent être fermés au moyen de batardeaux.
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif obturateur pour le passage d'un axe de machine hydraulique qui permet d'éviter les inconvénients précités, par le fait qu'il comporte un organe mobile permettant d'obturer le passage de l'eau vers le .joint, d'étanchéité pendant l'arrêt de la machine, cet organe étant actionné par des moyens de commande aisément accessibles.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple et schématiquement, une forme d'exécu tion de l'objet de l'invention. L'axe 1 de la turbine porte une garniture 2, par exemple en bronze, sur laquelle agit le presse-étoupe S.
Le chemin de l'eau entre le moyeu 4 de la roue et le joint d'étanchéité 3 est indi qué par les flèches 5. Le moyeu 4 porte une pièce 6 dont il est solidaire et qui tourne avec lui. Elle présente une surface annulaire plane 7. En regard de cette pièce 6 est dis posé un organe 8 élastique, par exemple en tôle, .constituant une paroi étanche. Cet or gane est solidaire du support 9 du joint d'étanchéité 3 par son bord 10 et présente en regard de la surface 7 de la pièce 6, sur son bord libre, une nervure annulaire 11 portant une garniture 15, par exemple en caoutchouc ou en métal tendre tel que du plomb.
Des vis de commande 13 traversant le support 9 du joint d'étanchéité agissent sur le bord 11 de l'organe 8 et permettent de ser rer la garniture 12 sur la surface 7, fermant ainsi le passage à l'eau dans sa pénétration vers le joint d'étanchéité. Il est bien entendu que le dispositif dé crit ci-dessus ne peut être actionné que lors que la machine est arrêtée, puisqu'une de ses parties est solidaire du moyeu et l'autre d'une partie fixe de la machine.
Bien entendu, le joint 12 peut aussi être supprimé, le passage étant alors fermé par simple serrage de la nervure annulaire 11 sur la surface 7.
On comprend que lorsque le dispositif décrit ci-dessus est fermé pendant l'arrêt de la machine, on peut procéder sans autres me sures et sans démontage d'autres parties quelconques, à la revision du joint d'étan chéité.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example and schematically, one embodiment of the object of the invention. The axis 1 of the turbine carries a gasket 2, for example made of bronze, on which the stuffing box S acts.
The path of the water between the hub 4 of the wheel and the seal 3 is indicated by the arrows 5. The hub 4 carries a part 6 to which it is integral and which rotates with it. It has a flat annular surface 7. Opposite this part 6 is placed an elastic member 8, for example made of sheet metal, constituting a sealed wall. This or gane is integral with the support 9 of the seal 3 by its edge 10 and has, facing the surface 7 of the part 6, on its free edge, an annular rib 11 carrying a gasket 15, for example made of rubber or made of soft metal such as lead.
Control screws 13 passing through the support 9 of the seal act on the edge 11 of the member 8 and make it possible to tighten the gasket 12 on the surface 7, thus closing the passage to water in its penetration towards the seal. It is understood that the device described above can only be actuated when the machine is stopped, since one of its parts is integral with the hub and the other with a fixed part of the machine.
Of course, the seal 12 can also be omitted, the passage then being closed by simply clamping the annular rib 11 on the surface 7.
It will be understood that when the device described above is closed while the machine is stopped, it is possible to proceed without further measures and without dismantling any other parts, to the revision of the seal.
