Description
Leuchtender Gegenstand.
Luminous object. The present invention relates to a luminous object.
It is known to apply for the production of Schil countries luminous paints in the form of a Lackan paint on sheet metal, cardboard, etc., to cover the painted side with a plate made of glass or cellon, astralon or other transparent plastics and the whole thing in an airtight and waterproof Include version. The tight enclosure makes the manufacture of the signs more expensive.
It is also known to burn a luminescent color enamel on sheet iron, an arrangement that makes it unnecessary to enclose it in a special frame, since each luminescent color particle is protected from attack by the atmospheric lilies by the enamel coating. The disadvantage here is that the signs will rust if they are not enameled on both sides.
The invention enables the production of signs in which the aforementioned disadvantages can be avoided.
According to the invention, the luminous object is characterized in that it consists of a glass body onto which luminous-colored enamel is burned.
This luminous enamel can, for example, have the following composition: 12 0; o Zn0 14 0; o Na20 74% H3B03.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely FIG. 1 shows the luminous object in section, FIG. 2 shows the same in perspective.
1 is the glass carrier, 2 is the luminous enamel layer fired on one side of the same.
The arrangement has the further advantage that characters, pictures, etc. can be painted with colors on the glass or enamel side or burned on with colored enamel. Such luminous objects can of course also be made in the form of lampshades, glass bells, vases and the like.
