Multipart regulating element in newspaper fittings for liquids. To fine-tune the flow rate in line fittings, through which the liquid is to flow continuously due to the risk of frost, small broilers or small needle valves have been used so far. With these regulating organs, it was found that high flow velocities and, as a result, severe pitting occur at the narrowest passages.
The cross-section of the opening is widened by these cracks, so that the preset flow rate increases and a strong, annoying hissing noise is created in the line.
However, noises can also arise with conventional water pipe valves if it is not avoided that the flow velocity and the flow pressure upstream of the valve exceed a certain value.
In order to avoid pitting when the flow velocity and the noise are reduced, the multi-part regulating element according to the present invention, in which an adjustable regulating part and an associated caliber part are present, is characterized in that the diameter of the seat edge of the adjustable regulating part is around a Is several times larger than the diameter of the valve hole in the associated caliber part and that the regulating part within the seat edge has a spherical segment-shaped recess arranged centrally to its axis,
while the half-part has a spherical segment-shaped elevation centered on the valve hole, but the radius is chosen so that a mushroom-shaped cavity is formed between the limits of this elevation and the recess in the regulating screw.
In the accompanying drawings, embodiments of the subject invention are shown for example. It shows: FIG. 1 the body of a toilet flush valve in section with a built-in multi-part regulating element for continuous frost operation.
FIG. 2 shows, on a larger scale, the regulating element according to FIG. 1 in section. Fig. 3 is a section through a line piece in which a multi-part regulating member is arranged.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the valve tap body, which is provided with a connecting piece 2 at the top, in which the exchangeable caliber washer 3 and the regulating screw 4, which the latter both together form the regulating member, are arranged. With the screw 5, the opening 6 is closed after the setting of the desired flow rate for the frost endurance run. The Boh tion 7 is with the seat hole 8 of the caliber disk 3 in connection. The bore 9 connects the opening 6 with the cavity 10 of the valve tap body 1. The bore 9 is at least as large or larger than the hole 8 in the caliber disk 3.
The shapes of the Ka.liberscheibe 3 and the regulating screw 4 can be seen from FIG. Dar after the Naliberscheibe 3 is designed as a screw seat with the seat hole 8 in the middle. The diameter of the ring seat edge 11 is several times greater than the diameter of the seat hole B. Furthermore, the caliber disk 3 has a spherical segment-shaped elevation 12 with the center on the axis of the seat hole B.
The regulating screw 4 is adjustable in the axial direction of the opening 6 and has a valve seat edge 13 which corresponds to the diameter of the ring seat edge 11; This seat edge 13 is therefore also several times larger in diameter than the seat hole B. The regulating screw 4 has a spherical segment-shaped recess 14 within the seat edge 13. The radii of the recess 14 and the elevation 12 are measured so that between them Limitations a mushroom hat-shaped iliac space 15 is created.
The water that passes through the seat hole 8 with high flow speed and high flow pressure in the mushroom-shaped cavity 15 is deflected in its flow direction and is distributed over a narrow annular slot opening 16 with a large circumference, whereby the flow speed is reduced, which leads to The result is that the risk of pitting of the seat edges 11 and 13 forming the annular seat opening 16 is significantly reduced.
The largest opening width of the annular slot 16 is reached when its cross section corresponds to that of the seat hole 8. \ ground the two Regulierorgteile instead of Me tall from erosion and corrosion-resistant and tough material, such as. B. made of hard rubber or synthetic resin, the holding time of the regulating members with their seat edges 11 and 13 will be a very long. It can also be just the regulating screw made of hard rubber or synthetic resin, the Kali berscheibe, however, made of metal, or conversely, the regulating screw made of metal, the Naliber disc, however, made of hard rubber or synthetic resin.
For a greater flow energy to be destroyed, as FIG. 3 shows, a plurality of caliber washers 19 and Re @ ulier screws 20 can be arranged one behind the other in a line piece 17 within the bore 18, with one such part between each pair 22 free space is available. The regulating screws 20 are also shaped in the same way as the regulating screw 4 described above, but they also have several bores 21 which are evenly distributed in a circle around the seat edge 13. Through these bores 21, the liquid reaches the next space 22.
The embodiment according to FIG. 3 is applicable, for example, in those cases where flow noises in lines should be reduced as much as possible.
Depending on the material used for the individual parts of the regulating member BEZW. Depending on the type of use of the regulating element, its parts can be screwed or pressed into the pipe fitting.
