Safety device provided with a shut-off device on pressure vessels with a rotatable sealing lid. The invention relates to a safety device provided with a locking device on pressure vessels with: rotatable closure, cover and with projections distributed around the circumference of the housing flange and the cover flange, the projections:
of the cover flange in the closed position of the cover under the projections of the housing flange and: by a rotation made for the purpose of opening the container: the cover is brought outside the area of the projections of the housing flange, the shut-off device on one Container part attached:
and is connected with its movable part to an actuating rod provided with a locking part, which is inserted into a recess of the not supporting the locking device; Part of the container engages. Here with: the shut-off device, the movable member of which is provided with a locking part, serves the purpose that the container can only be pressurized if the container:
is properly closed by its cover, in that the blocking part prevents the blocking device from closing when the cover is not properly brought into its closed position; conversely, the lid can only be removed, ie the container can only be opened, when the shut-off device has been opened, ie the container has been depressurized.
Practice has now: shown that this important facility is often carelessly removed, as a result of which explosions with devastating crowds have repeatedly occurred. The reason for the illegal removal of such safety devices can have various causes.
Mostly the case is that with. Insert new seals - they are a little too strong or do not lie correctly in the groove, which means that the cover cannot be screwed in completely.
However, in order to still be able to put the vessel under pressure, the locking disc is simply released from the rods or the connection with the movable part of the locking device is released so that the locking device can be closed without that the locking part engages in the recess provided for it. The consequence of this is overstressing of the material and, under certain circumstances, destruction of the container.
In order to prevent this, it is already known to arrange the spindle of the movable part of the shut-off device in such a way that it cannot be removed. The spindle of the movable part of the Absperrvorrich device is stored for this purpose in the flange of that container part to which the shut-off device is attached, and the locking disc is attached above the spindle and secured by a seal in such a way that the parts are only released after removing the seal can be. In a similar way, the spindle is also connected to the movable part of the shut-off device.
Since a removal of the movable union part of the shut-off device is only possible after loosening the seal, such an irregularity could easily be noticed; In this way there is a certain degree of security that the shut-off device is not removed.
Nevertheless, it has been shown that securing this with the help of a seal is not always reliable. The invention be intended to improve this backup zii and the. To maintain security under all practical circumstances.
According to the invention, the actuating rod with the locking part attached to it is inextricably superimposed on one part of the container and connected to the movable part of the locking device via a coupling, the only by moving the housing attached to the container of the locking device transversely to the axis of rotation The drive spindle of the movable part of this shut-off device can be released, and this is only possible if the movable part of the shut-off device is in the open position.
Preferably, the shut-off device is attached to the one Behäl lower part by means of studs.
In general, due to the boiler regulations, such shut-off devices must be attached to the container with the aid of studs. Head screws may: not be used for this because their thread wears out too easily. With this type of fastening, the housing of the shut-off device can only be dismantled in this way. be that this is moved transversely to the axis of rotation of the drive spindle of the movable part of the shut-off device, so in the case of a normal through valve in the direction of the axes of the studs.
In this way, a condition of the subject of the invention is already met. The coupling now only needs to be designed and the actuating rod to be arranged with reference to the movable part of the shut-off device so that the movable part of the shut-off device is in the geöffne th position when the housing of the shut-off device together with its moving parts is deducted. Such a coupling can be implemented in an extremely simple manner.
If, contrary to the usual boiler regulations, head screws were used instead of the studs to fasten the shut-off device, the shut-off device could also be removed by loosening the head screws and pulling them downwards. In such a case, additional means would have to be provided in order to ensure that the shut-off device can only be built transversely to the direction of the axis of rotation of the drive spindle of the movable part of the shut-off device.
For example, it would be sufficient if the flattened end of the coupling were provided with one or two teeth that run transversely to the spindle axis in the direction in which the movable part of the shut-off device is to be built out alone. If .then these teeth engage in corresponding grooves of the actuating rod, it is also prevented here that the movable part of the shut-off device can be expanded downwards.
Preferably, the shut-off device is attached to the housing of the container and its actuating rod is mounted on this housing unlös bar. It has been shown to be useful if the shut-off device is designed as a cock.
The coupling between the movable part of the shut-off device and the actuating rod is preferably carried out in such a way that a flattened pin on the outwardly protruding end of the movable part of the shut-off device engages in a longitudinal opening of the actuating rod that is adapted to it and through an open position ment of the movable part of the Absperrvor direction away from the container transverse recess of the rod when moving the Ge housing of the shut-off device can slide out of the rod.
E s it is also recommended to cover the transverse recess on the rod with a removable plate.
The actuating rod rotatably mounted on the container is preferably set down on one side of the bearing point and inextricably connected to the locking part on the other side.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a simplified representation. Show it.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of the same with the shut-off device closed, Fig. 2 is a section along the line AA of Fig. 1, Fig. 3, a view with the shut-off device in the closed position, Fig. 4 is a longitudinal section, but the shut-off device in its open position is shown, Fig. 5 is a section along line AA of Fig. 4, Fig. 6 is a view of the shut-off device in the open position.
According to the .Fig. 1 to 3, the valve used as a shut-off device is decided and the locking disc 7 also keeps the lid closed. The direction of the flattened sides of the pin 10 forms a right angle with the flattened side of the locking disk 7.
The vessel 1 is seen with a flange 2 ver and can be closed ver by means of the lid 3. The cover 3 has lugs 5 distributed over the entire circumference, which can be rotated un ter the projections 6 on the flange 2. On vessel 1, the valve 9 is screwed onto the flange 16 in the usual way. The spindle of the tap is provided with an actuating rod 8 which is stored in the flange 2. The locking disk -7 and the handle 14 sit on the actuating rod 8.
The locking disc 7, which is flattened on one side, can only be rotated when the cover is in the closed position because the recess 4 then assumes the position in which it can accommodate the locking disc. So that the loading actuating rod can not be removed, it is deposited on one side of the bearing point 17 and on the other side it is riveted or welded to the locking disk or the handle. In the drawing is 15 -the weld seam, the dashed line indicates a possible riveting. The tap spindle is provided with a flattened Zap fen 10 which is inserted into a recess in the actuating rod 8.
The recess can be closed with the cover plate 11, which is connected to the actuating rod by the screws 12 and 13.
In the embodiment described, practically no mischief can be done by the operator. The moving part of the shut-off device with the actuating rod cannot be dismantled, since the actuating rod is inextricably linked. the container is connected and only rotated who can. The moving part of the shut-off device itself can not be expanded after the actuation rod, since in this direction the rod changes back to an expansion. In the opposite direction, the movable part of the shut-off device cannot be pulled out either, since the housing of the shut-off device makes such a removal impossible.
The movable part of the shut-off device can therefore only be removed together with the housing of the shut-off device transversely to the direction of the rod axis. However, according to the invention, the shut-off device is open so that no disaster can arise. In order to be able to pressurize the container again, the shut-off device must now be reinstalled in order to seal the flange.
The container can only be put into operation when the complete safety device is installed; on the other hand, no part of the closing device can be removed when the container is under pressure.
