Description

Fig. a und (i zeigen als beispielsweise Ausführung der Erfindung ein Lagersegment. mit.
Nip segment for comb and support bearings. When eating a. Tilting segment for crest and support bearings, it was observed that the seizure always starts from a point g1-ht that is above the support point. This is how this phenomenon was explained. the element through the pressure on it. if only a little, sags. so that the oil film is locally thinner and finally torn. The elements of FIG. 1 are therefore very strong.
that means very thickly built and all-over applied sliding metals a. like white metal. 2 firmly connected to the segment body e in order to also use these parts of the Lag-ei :: for carrying. This all-vision was reinforced by observation. that the pitted area is lower in the middle than at the periphery of the segment.
The explanation was found in the fact that: I arch the originally flat segment under your influence of the load to a ball lcalotto. (Fig. 3). all of which the comb grinds a flat surface. so that when the segment subsequently assumes its original shape again, this eroded point naturally appears as a hollow surface.
In-depth studies have now shown. that contrary to the usual an #ellanuiio. this warping of the segment is essentially distorted not by the load, but by the one-sided heating of the segment. and the present invention is based on this new knowledge. It is based on the fact that a sliding shoe is placed on the segment body. that it can stretch freely on all sides.
FIGS. A and (i show, as an example embodiment of the invention, a bearing segment with a segment body e and on one side by screws q all the slide shoe f fastened in a section and in a perspective view.
.Last the sliding shoe f can stretch freely; the actual segment body e, however, remains. just. and in this way the segment surface remains flat. This has. to the fol-e. that according to the present invention se-inents are able to bear a much higher load.
Slide shoe f and segment body e can also be made of different metals. z. B. the sliding shoe f made of bronze and the segment body e made of steel.
A '3' mm thick bronze sliding shoe on a segment of 40: \ 40 mm wing increased the load-bearing capacity by more than i 5, w.
