AtemgerÏte, insbesondere Atemschutzgeräte f r Reit-, Zug-und Tratgtiere, werden bisher am Eopf des Tieres durch Dfaskeln angeschlossen. Die Masken übergreifen ent- weder den Ober- und Unterkiefer oder den: Oberkiefer mit den Nüstern. Die Abdiehfung bei beiden Maskenarten erfolgte durch Dichtungsvorrichtungen, die um den Ïu¯ern Kopf herum bezw. um den Kopf und die Schleimhaut des harten Gaumens verlaufen. Die Grosse der einzelnen gopfe, z. B. von Pferden und das VerhÏltnis der anatomischen Teile eines Kopfes zuemander weichen, stark voneinander ab.
Die Nüstern des Pferdes als Anschluss für ein Atemgerät zu benutzen, wie das s schon bei Geräten fur menslohlichen Gebra, uch bekannt war, hielt marn für nicht durchführbar, weil die empfindliche Atmungssschleimhaut der Nüstern des Pfer- des an der Innenseite des Naseneinganges sehr druck- und reibungsempfindlich ist und eine solehe Beanspruchuing von dem Pferde nicht geduldet würde.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Atemgerät f r Tiere: insbesondere für Reit-, Zug- und Tragtiere. Die Erfindung zeigt nu, einen Weg, auf dem es igelingt, zda, ls AtmungsgerÏt an die N stenn anzuschlie¯en.
Sie beruht auf der Feststellung, da¯ es auch unempfindliche Teile an den. N stern gibt, die zum Abdichten Tmd Trägem des Atem- gerätesgeeignetsind,sodassdieobenr- erwÏbnte empfindliche Atmungsschleimhaut nicht berührt werden muss. Diese Teile sind. die eigentliche äussere Nüster mit ihrem dorsalen, oralen, lateralen und medialen RÏn dern bis an die Grenze des Umschlages de-r kutanen Haut in die respiratorische Schleim haut und das sogenannte,,falsche Nasenloch# mit der anschlie¯euden Nasentrompete, die gleichfalls von Ïu¯erer Haut ausgekleidet ist.
D'as Atemg. era. t gemäss der Erfindumg ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, da¯ dasselbe zwei Ansehlussstückebesitzt,.diejeinFo.rmeines Kegels, zweckmϯigerweise als Eohlkegel mit abgerundeter, kuppelartiger Spitze aus gebildet sind und an einer Stelle des Kegelmantels eine Offnung fur den Anschluss einesändernTeilsdesAtemgerätesundaji einer der genannten.
Anschlu¯¯ffnung an nähernd gegenüberliegenden, jedoch mehr gegen die Kegelspitze zu verschobenen Stelle ein Durchtrittsöffnung besitzen, zum Zwecke, die Nüstern durch Einführung der Anschlu¯st cke in diese zu verformen, deren Abst tzung in der Nasentrompete zu ermög- lichen und durch die Durohtpittsöffnungen einen Anschlu¯ an den Atemweg des Tieres zu bewirken. An der mit Vorteil offenen BasisflÏche des Kegels kann ein Ausatemventil vorgesehen sein.
Die Lage des Anschlu¯st ckes in der N ster eines Pferdes ist beispieLsweiee folgende :
Die zweckmässigerweise kuppelf¯nmige SpiXe und der ansehliessende Teil des Kegelmantels füllen die einen Blindsackbildende Nasentrompete des Pferdes aus und stützen sich in dem Blindsack ab. Der weitere anschliessende Teil des Kegelmantels erweitert die Nüster, einschliesslich des falschen Nasen- loches und des Flügelknorpela zu einem fast regelmässigen Oval.
Die so verformte Nüster liegt mit ihren freien RÏndern breit an der Mantelfläche des Kegels an und stellt so im Verein mit der Fläche des Kegelmantels und dom äussern Umfang des weniger dehnbaren untern Nasenausganges die Abdichtung her.
In dieser Lage weist die Austrittsöffnung zum Luftweg {les Pferdes in Richtung gegen die Nasenscheidewand und etwas nach unten.
Die Halterung beider Anschlu¯st cke am Kopf besteht vorzugsweise aus vier dehnbaren BÏndern, von denen ein federndes Ban, d beide Anschlussstncke über den wei- chen Nasenr cken hinweg verbindet, ein zweites Band zwischen beiden Anschluss- stücken um den harten Gaumen durch die Zahnl cke des Oberkiefers verlÏuft und je ein weiteres Band (Backenband) an jedem Anschlu¯st ck die Verbindung mit dem Kopfgestell herstellt.

Ein aus Metall oder Pressstoff in Form eines Hohlkegels bestehendes Anschlu¯st ck 1 endet in einer Kuppel 2, die sich in dem #falschen Nasenloch" abst tzt. Die Atemluft. tritt durch das Filter 3 oder einen die übrigen Teile des AtmungsgerÏtes mit dem. Anschlu¯st ck verbindenden Zwischenschlauch, die mittetle des Gewindes 4 an einem an der Kegelmantelfläche angebrachtem Stutzen 5 befestigt werden können und durch ein Ein- atemventil 6 in des Anschlu¯st ck 1 ein.
Etwa gegenüber diesem Stutzen 5 aber näher zur Kuppel 2 gelegen, befindet eich eine lÏngliche Durchtritts¯ffnung 7, die in den Atemweg des Pferdee einm ndet. Am Boden des hohlen Kegels ist ein Ausatemventil 8 angeordnet, das von einer gelochten Schutzkappe 9 überdeckt ist, Wie aus den Fig. 3 und. 4 hervorgeht, sind die in die Nüstern des Pferdes eingesetzten Anschlussstücke 1 durch ein über den weichen Nasenriicken verlaufendes, federndes Band 10 und ein durch das Maul verlaufendes, federndes Band 11 miteinander verbunden.
Jedes der Anschlu¯st cke ist femer durch ein federndes Backejn- band 12 am Kopfgestell des Pferdes, z. B. mittels eines Karabinerhakens, befestigt. Die Bänder sind an den Anschlu¯st cken 1 an aus den Fig. 1 und 3 ersiehtlichen Bixgeln 13 befestigt.

It is based on the observation that there are also insensitive parts on the. A connection piece 1 made of metal or pressed material in the form of a hollow cone ends in a dome 2, which is supported in the "false nostril".
