Pressure regulator for gaseous or liquid pressure media. To maintain a certain operating pressure or to influence the level of this pressure, pressure regulators are used, which usually work on servo devices and whose effect is to direct the pressure medium to the control elements at a certain pressure, and the supply line when this pressure falls below a certain level but to interrupt the pressure medium to the control organs again.
Double valves, such as double seat valves or double piston valves, are often used for this purpose. Depending on the area difference between the lower and the upper valve, respectively. Piston valve area the height of the pressure difference between switching the pressure regulator on and off is based.
The present invention now aims to reduce the pressure difference between the switch-on and switch-off pressure of the pressure regulator, so to achieve an improvement in the regulator effect. This is achieved by the pressure medium acting on the control elements during the control process (water, air or the like.) An additional force is exerted on the control element of the controller, which causes a reduction in the difference between the switch-on and switch-off pressure .
In the accompanying drawings, two embodiments of the invention are Darge provides.
According to Fig. 1 sits in a known manner in the two-part controller housing 1 a loaded by Fe of 7 double valve seat body 6 with the lower seat 6 'on the housing, the pressure line on flange 2, the line to the! Steuerorga NEN connects to flange 8, while the flange 4 leads outside. Furthermore, a guided in the regulator housing piston 8 and further an adjusting nut 10 is arranged over the spring 7, and a connecting line 9 between tween the flanges 3 and 5 is provided.
The mode of operation is as follows: When the maximum pressure to be regulated is reached, that on the lower seat surface 6 'of the valve body predominates. 6 the force exerted by the pressure medium is the force of the spring 7. The valve seat body 6 is therefore raised and sealed with the large upper seat surface 6 ″ upwards. The force with which the valve body 6 is held in this position by the pressure medium is determined by the pressure of the pressure medium and the large seat area 6 ". So it is much greater than the force of the spring 7, which is only measured for the loading of the small seat below I 'be.
The lower seat surface I 'of the lifted valve body 6 is the path of the pressure medium to the flange 3 free. The pressure medium now flows through: the flange 3 to the control organs and through the line 9 into the space above the piston 8, the latter being pressed down as far as the stop formed by the adjusting nut 10.
As a result, the spring 7 is tensioned more strongly, so that an additional closing force is exerted on the valve body 6. If the pressure of the pressure medium has fallen so far that the force exerted by the spring 7 from above on the valve body 6 outweighs the force exerted by the pressure medium on the valve body from below, the valve body is pressed down into the starting position. The flange 3 is now connected to the flange 4 leading into the open. The line leading to the control organs and the connecting line 9 are therefore depressurized. The piston 8 returns to the upper end position under the force of the spring 7.
The additional load on the valve body is therefore eliminated.
An additional force is thus exerted during the control process by the pressure medium acting on the control elements via the loading spring of the control element, which means that the difference between the switch-on and switch-off pressure of the regulator is reduced. By adjusting the adjusting nut 10, the extent of the movement of the piston 8, which determines the size of the additional force, and thus the level of the operating pressure at which the valve body is depressed again, can be set differently.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which the additional pressure of the piston 8 is not exerted via the loading spring 7, but un indirectly on the valve body 6. Here, in the connecting line 9, a throttle element 10 and a second throttle element 12 blowing out into the open can be seen easily. By appropriate adjustment of the two throttle elements 11 and 12, any pressure can be adjusted to zero and the pressure present on the flange 3 in the space via the piston 8. The additional force can therefore be set within wide limits, so that the level of the operating pressure at which the valve body 6 is depressed again can be set differently.
