Hollow body for gases of high temperature. The invention relates to a hollow body through which a pressurized gas flows and is equipped with an inner jacket that is particularly exposed to the high temperature of the gas and an outer jacket that absorbs the pressure of the gas.
The invention is characterized in that a coolant is introduced into the space between the two jackets which has a lower temperature and a higher pressure than the gas flowing through the interior of the hollow body.
The space between the two jackets is expediently sealed against the interior of the hollow body in order to reduce the outflow of the supplied coolant into the interior of the hollow body. Labyrinth or similar stuffing boxes can be provided as sealing devices his.
Several embodiments of the subject invention are shown in the drawing.
1 and 2 each show a hollow body designed as a tube according to the invention. FIG. 3 shows a longitudinal section and FIG. 4 shows, partly in front view and partly in cross section, a gas supply nozzle of a gas turbine made according to the invention. FIGS. 5 and 6 show details of the nozzle according to FIGS. 3 and 4.
The pipelines according to FIGS. 1 and 2 each have a section which has an inner jacket 1, which is particularly exposed to the high temperature of the flowing gas, and an outer jacket 2 that absorbs the pressure of the gas. The inner jacket 1 is also provided with an insulation layer 3 to protect against impermissible heat losses.
In order to protect the outer jacket 2 against inadmissible heating, a coolant, for example air, which has a lower temperature and a higher pressure, is introduced into the space 4 between the pipe jackets 1 and 2 through the line 5 than the gas flowing through the pipeline M.
In the pipeline according to Figure 1 belan-1, the coolant located in space 4 through the; Gap between the ends 6 of the inner shell 1 and the cuff 7 into the interior of the shell 1 and then continues to flow with the high temperature gas. By adapting the cuffs 7 to the. Inner jacket 1, the necessary amount of coolant can be limited to a minimum.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2, the use of collars is intentionally avoided in order to .gewÄicher towards easy construction of individual pieces of pipe. After removing the flange screws, the individual pieces of pipe can be extended out of the pipeline in the radial direction without significant axial displacements of the adjacent pipe parts because there are no overlapping parts.
The coolant introduced into the space 4 passes through the gaps 8 into the interior of the pipe and is here from the inside. streamed high temperature gas entrained.
The gas turbine according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is fed to operation under increased pressure through a supply housing 1.0 . A further jacket 11, which is surrounded by an insulating layer 12, is arranged in the interior of the housing jacket 10. This second coat consists, as of Fi-. 5 can be seen from two parts which are connected to one another by means of the flanges 13.
In the space 14 between the housing jacket 10 and the inner jacket 11 is i: through the line 15, a coolant passed, which has a lower temperature and a higher pressure than there. the work equipment supplied to the Gaoturbine.
The coolant located in space 14 can be hung at points 16 and 17 inside the nozzle and flows from here with the hot working fluid into the turbine.
In order to reduce the amount of coolant that gets into the turbine from space 14, a labyrinth is provided at points 16 and 17 (Fig. 3) (Fig. 6).
The la.byrinth stages 18 reduce the amount of crashes flowing through, so that an adequate cooling is ensured, but no impermissibly large coolant lines have to be supplied.
The embodiment represented by FIGS. 3 to 6 has the advantage that the individual parts of a Cia.sturbine can expand sufficiently without causing stresses.
As a coolant, for. B. Cooling air of increased pressure can be used. In addition to labyrinths, other stoppable seals can also be used as seals. In simple cases, an insulating layer on the inner niant.el can be saved.
