Train monitoring device with track board and display of the train number. There are train monitoring devices with track board and display of the train number at the monitoring point are known in which the individual track sections shown in the track board with number wheels ver provided step switches are assigned that automatically adjust to the corresponding train number and display when the track section is occupied. In particular, it is thought that the train number attached to a drum, belt or disk should be identified on the track board directly or with the aid of a light source.
The invention relates to an improvement in this device. According to the invention, the switching devices assigned to the individual Gleisab sections are controlled, Lam pen, which are arranged behind the track board and optically indicate the train number on the front of the track board. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 of the accompanying drawings. While FIGS. 1 to 3 show an embodiment form with step switches, FIGS. 4 to 6 show an embodiment with the individual track sections associated with Re lais. 1 to 3 are 100 to 109 incandescent lamps, which can project the numbers 0 to 9 onto the track board as desired.
2000 is the arm of a step switch, not shown in the drawing. The contact arm 2000 closes the circuits to the individual incandescent lamps 100 to 109 step by step via the contacts 2002, 2003, 2004 etc. of the associated contact bank.
In Fig. 2, 80 is a film or the like, which is shown in Fig. 3 unrolled in elevation and the numbers BEZW. Bears numbers 0 to 9. The lamps 100 to 109 throw their light through lenses 90a / b through the film 80 onto the window 110 of a track board. Depending on the position of the step switch, one or the other lamp is switched on and the desired number appears on the window <B> 110 </B> of the track board with the help of the optics and the film arranged within the optics. For example, if lamp 109 lights up, the number 9 appears on the window, lamp <B> 105 lights up, </B> the number 5, etc.
Instead of the optics described, other lights can also be used, for example the well-known shape in which the individual figures are composed of a large number of light bulbs (see, for example, Swiss patent no. 17393.1): man but then needs a lot of contact bridges on the step switches BEZW. Control relay.
Just as in the known arrangements, relays can be selected instead of the stepping switch, so here too the lamps 100 to 109 etc. can be controlled by relays. Conveniently, the device is ausgebil det in the following way: There are the individual track board sections that correspond to the track sections of the route, assigned a corresponding number of relays that control the lamps. The relays themselves switch on each other from section to section depending on the advance of the train, that is, depending on the actuation of the track relay respectively. special rail contacts, as well as possibly depending on the route position in the signal box at track associations respectively.
Track branches.
A special relay is not assigned to each individual number, but a substantial saving can be achieved by simultaneously actuating several relays. In such a device with actuation of several relays, the arrangement can be made so that if one of these relays fails, no false image can appear.
An embodiment of a Einrich device with relay is shown in FIG. 4. Here, U-V is the track on which the trains move in the direction of the arrow. The track is divided into sections A, <I> B, C, D </I> in the usual way by insulating tabs, which are monitored by track relays a, <I> b, c, d </I>. The state of the track is repeated in a known manner in the control center St with the aid of light strips Ao, Bo, Co on a track board shown schematically at the bottom in FIG. On this track board there are still sections A ,, B ,, Cl, in which the train numbers can appear.
Each route or Track panel section are now a number of relays 11 to 17 BEZW. 21 to 27, 31 to 37 assigned, which control the associated lamps 100 to 109. The relays 11, 21, 31 respectively. 12, 22, 32 etc. stop each other in response to the advance of the train. Contacts 111, 11 \ ?, 311, \? 12 etc. are used for this purpose. Contacts 111 and 11 \ 3 are located on relay 11, contacts 211 and 31.3 on relay 21 etc. The train number is assigned to the signal box control center St by the transmitter G ge, using the T button and the relays 01 to 07 located in the control center <I> St, </I>. If the T1 + 2 button is pressed, the relay <B> 01 </ B is activated > and makes his contacts Oll and 012.
It now receives more current via contact a, track relay a and self-closing contact 011 and remains attracted until the train drives on track section A and track relay a drops out. As soon as the relay a, drops out, the contact az is also closed, so that now, (la also the contact 012 is closed, the relay 11 can pick up, (read now also its contacts 111 and <B> 112 </ B> closes. The relay R picks up with a delay, because,
it receives current through a resistor and a capacitor is connected in parallel to provide it. It closes: contact R1 only after a certain time. The drop-out delay of the relay 01, with a capacitor also connected in parallel to the winding, is smaller than the pick-up delay of relay R. For this reason, after the track relay a drops out, relay 01 will drop before the contact R, is closed. In the meantime, the self-closing contact 011 has been opened and the relay 01 can only be closed by pressing the T, + 2 button. On the other hand, this button can also be pressed again as long as the train is still in section A.
Relay 01 can then keep power via contact R1 and its self-closing contact 011 until route A is cleared and occupied by the next train. The first train is now in section A and relay 11 is energized. It receives power via the contact a ″ and the self-closing contact 111. Furthermore, the contact 112 is closed. In addition, since the section B is still free and the contact b on the energized track relay b is consequently closed, the relay 100 is energized and has closed its self-closing contact 101. As a result, the contact 102 in the circuit of the relay 21. As soon as the train comes to the section B, the relay b drops out.
As a result, the contact b2 of the track relay b is closed and the relay 21 picks up. The relays 11 and 21 are now energized. If the train leaves section A, contact a2 is interrupted and relays 11 and 100 drop out; the relay 21 then receives power via the contact b. and the self-closing contact 211. Furthermore, the relay 200 is now energized and has its contacts 201 and 202 closed. As soon as the train comes to route C, contact cl is interrupted and contact c2 is closed. The relay 200 receives via contact b. and the self-closing contact 201 continues power and the relay 31 receives power via the contacts c2, 202 and 212. Now the relays 21 and 31 are current flowing through and energized.
If route B is cleared, contact b breaks, 2nd; relays 21 and 200 drop out _ etc. Relays 02 to 32, 03 to 33 etc. work in the same way. Relays 100, 200, 300 etc. serve, among other things, to prevent the relay from switching on takes place before the section ahead has not been cleared by a train driven ahead. For example, if a train is still in section B, relay 21 is attracted and contact b, in the circuit of relay 100, is interrupted.
If a train with a different number, which is perhaps represented by the relays of the series 02 to 32, were to occupy section A and thus pull relay 12, relay 22 would not yet pick up, although contact 122 is closed and the contact b2 is still closed because the contact 102 is still interrupted since the relay 100 as a result of the open contact b ,. has fallen off. Only when the preference clears the section B, the relay 100 picks up via the then closed contact b, and the contact 102 is closed.
In the meantime, however, the contact bz is interrupted and this is only closed when the next train enters section B. Only then can the relay 22 pick up.
You can now either assign a relay to each number, then you would get 10 relays for number reporting the numbers 0 to 9 for each track board section. But you can also control each number by working together with several relays and by selecting and working together these relays to ensure that false images are excluded.
In the execution example of FIG. 4 a total of seven relays are provided for the numbers 0 to 9, namely the relays 11, 21, 31 for the numbers 1 and 2, the relays 12, 22, 32 for the numbers 3 and 4 , the relays 13, 23, 33 for the numbers 5 and 6, the relays 14, 24, 34 for the numbers 7 and 8 and the relays 15, 25, 35 for the numbers 9 and 0. Simultaneously with one of the relays < B> 01 </B> to 05, 11 to 15 etc.
one of the relay rows 06 to 36 respectively. 07 to 37 actuated, and the relays 16 or 17 are now used to select between the numbers 1 and 2 respectively. 3 and 4 resp. 5 and 6 etc. The number 1 in the track board number field for window A ,. receives power via the contacts 113 of the relay 11 and 163 of the relay 16. The number 2 receives power via the contact 114 of the relay 11 and the contact 173 of the relay 17, that is for the individual payers. two relays must be energized, one of the relays 11 to 15 and one of the relays 16, 17.
If one of the two relays, which are required to illuminate a light bulb, does not pick up due to poor contact or for other reasons, no number would appear in the number field. You could finally omit one of the relays rows 06 to 36 or 07 to 3 7 and then relays through a changeover of a relay, z. B. the relay 16, differentiate between the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 on the one hand and the numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 0 on the other hand. However, the failure of one relay series, e.g. B. the row 06 to 36, bring a wrong number to light up.
In many cases one will be content with such a reduced level of security. In any case, one is always able to achieve a sufficiently high level of security with a simultaneous saving of relays and contacts through a similar combination; this also applies in particular in the event that other characters, e.g. B. letters should be reported. A major advantage of the arrangement described is, among other things, that only a few contacts are required to control the individual number lamps.
The buttons on the encoder are at. this embodiment of FIG. 4 so angeord net that two keys must be pressed to give a number. But you can also switch the contacts on the keys so that each of the numbers is assigned a special key. If you want to save on lines, instead of transferring numbers with individual wires from the transmitter G to the first track panel of the receiver in the control center St, you can take a different route and transfer the train numbers using the cable wires multiple times, for example with help of code streams or step switches.
Finally, you can also arrange special rail contacts a1 ", bl0 and ei", which only allow the train number to continue running when their contacts all, b11, ei are actuated. Finally, this continuation could also be carried out completely independently of the track relays a, <I> b, </I> e, merely with the aid of the rail contacts a, o, 1) 1o2 cl ″ or the like.
In the case of multi-digit train numbers, as is generally the case, one will appropriately assign such a relay group 11 to 17, 21 to 27, etc. to each individual digit of a four-digit number for example.
If multi-digit train numbers have to be transmitted, back-up relays could be used, but the use of back-up relays is generally not necessary, since the disappearance of a multi-digit train number due to a line break or the like is not to be expected even when using a single relay. Appropriate technical training of the facilities can be used to ensure that part of the multi-digit number then appears, which the signalman can use to identify the error immediately.
In Fig. 5 is. an exemplary embodiment is shown in which a train station with platform tracks X, Y, Z is located in the middle of a line L'-Y. Here, too, the train should move in the direction shown by the arrow over the distance Tr-T '. When the train travels from section B to one of the sections X, <I> Y, 7 </I>, the train number is moved to the appropriate track using, for example, the route contacts of the entry lane of a mechanical or electrical lever system at the station directs.
To explain the mode of operation, only some of the relays required for transmitting the train numbers are shown. As the picture shows, a special relay group is provided for each of the three platform tracks, in the same way as for the individual sections of the route. The relays <B> 31, </B> 32, ... belong to track X, relays 31y, 32Y <B> ... </B> to track Y, relays <B> 31, </B> etc. to track Z. The relays have two windings. The left winding is used to tighten the relay, the right winding to hold it in the tightened position.
All left windings of a relay group belonging to a certain track 31, 32, respectively. 31y, 32y, etc. can only via a route contact f ex respectively. fey etc. received current, namely see this in each case in the common connection line to the left windings of the respective track section associated relay group 31, 32Y respectively. 31y, 32y, etc., while in the common line to a relay transmitting the train number series 31Y, 31y, 31z respectively. 32, 32y, 32, contacts of the individual relays of the relay group are located, the section to the backward section, in figure to section B, ge, namely a contact 216 of the relay 21 in the supply line to the left windings of the relays 31x, 31y, 31, respectively.
a contact 226 of the relay 22 in the line to the left windings of the relays 32X, 32y, 32z. The right winding is used to keep the relay 31Y, etc. in the tightened position when the train has cleared the rear wärtigen route section and is in the platform track. The relay then drops out as soon as the platform track is cleared. The forwarding of the train number from the platform track to route section D is also carried out with the aid of route contacts fax, f ay, f az, the exit route. If a train now travels from section B to section X, the route contact f "" is closed.
As long as the train still occupies section B, the relay 21, for example, is attracted and as a result the contact 216 is closed. As soon as the train travels along the switch section W with the route already set and the route contact feX closed, the track relay w drops out and the contact w1 is closed. A current now flows through contact 216, the left winding of relay 31X, contact J "_, and contact w1. Relay 31" picks up.
As soon as section X is occupied, the associated track relay <I> x. </I> drops out; the contact x ,. is closed and since contact 311Y is also closed, the other relay winding is now also receiving current. As soon as the relay 21 drops out after the evacuation of section B or the route is set back so that the contact feX is opened, the second winding of the relay 31Y still has current flowing through it, so that the relay remains pulled.
As soon as the train leaves track X of the station, a corresponding route is set for the journey to section D and the fax contact is closed. Since contact 3121 is also closed, magnetic switch 41 receives power as soon as section D is being used by the train; because then contact d i is closed. The number now continues in the manner described with reference to the system according to FIG.
You can see that with only one route contact, but in any case with few route contacts, it is possible to route the train number from the one track in front of the station to one of the many platform tracks, and again from the platform track to the main track. Instead of the route contacts, other contacts, e.g. B. contacts on the signal control relay, on various track relays or the like can be used. In the same way, rail contacts or the like can be arranged in the individual switch and platform platforms, which take over the progression of the train number in the same way as the route contact.
With the arrangement described, you can also save new train number reports within a reporting district with simple additions, for example for the skin so that a new train is deployed on a platform that is within the reporting district. That will be described at the same time with reference to FIG.
Such a storage facility is indicated by dashed lines in this figure; namely, on the one hand, contacts 0216 and 0226 are connected in parallel to relay contacts 216 and 226 (dashed lines), and likewise parallel to contact f ey and zal a contact x @ l "" respectively. parallel to the contacts f eY and a contact y "" and ZU .. If, for example, a train is used on section X, the signalman actuates the contact by pressing a button on one side: r100, on the other side with the help of another button depending on the number of the train one of the contacts 0216 respectively. 0226 etc.
As a result, one of the relays 31 ″ 32 is brought to pick up and the reporting process then takes place in the manner described above.
In the event of a fault, for example, when the track relay or insulated track sections malfunction, the train number can be incremented with the help of special buttons that can be placed either in a special box or on the track board and the contacts on the track relays, for example the Replace contacts a2, bi, c2, d., And a1, b1, cl, dl (Fig. 4).
If within one reporting area, several different ones. If you insert trains whose numbers should also continue with the train on the track board, you can proceed in a similar way as just described. For example can. you equip the associated relay with a second winding, via which the relay can be brought to pick-up, namely by pressing a general number key and a second key that selects the section in which the number is stored should.
This ensures that you only need a single number transmitter for all sections in which trains are used in the manner described, only supplemented by buttons for the individual track sections.
As a supplement to Fig. 4 it should also be noted that the signaling system can also be supplemented by a storage system of the type known per se. With reference to FIG. 2 it was explained how to save relays for each output from a single number two or more relays are operated. If one of these relays fails, then under no circumstances will a wrong number appear. In the case of a four-digit number, one or two digits might be missing, depending on the degree of disturbance. The signalman would already recognize the malfunction. But you can now take security even further, especially in cases where only one or two-digit numbers are reported.
The arrangement can be made in such a way that in the event that one of the relays required for a proper display does not work, be it due to a line break or for similar reasons, a special fault display is issued. An example for this is shown in Fig. 6, as a supplement to the relay group 11 to 17 and the track board section <31 of Fig. 4. L is a fault lamp that receives power when ent neither one of the contacts 113, 123, 133, 143, 153 of the relays 11 to 7 5 and the contacts 164 and 174 of the released relays 16 and 17 are closed, or if one of the contacts 165, 175 of the relays 16 and 17 and all contacts 114, 124, 134, 144 , 154 of the fallen relays 11 to 15 are closed.
It can be seen that this transmission arrangement significantly increases the reliability of the correct message compared to the usual relay operations, because the probability that a display will be swallowed by a line break or the like is extremely low, because the line break is would have to occur simultaneously in two relay circuits. If, as has been the case up to now, a display were made dependent solely on the activation of a single relay, this could possibly disappear without the security officer noticing anything.
