Collection container for bulk material, in particular garbage. The invention relates to a collection container for bulk material, in particular garbage, which z. B. can be arranged on a vehicle and which is provided with a screw conveyor rotatable in a tubular housing for pressing the bulk goods into the container.
Such a garbage truck is described in Swiss Patent No. 193861. By means of its screw conveyor it is possible in most cases to press the garbage into the container under great pressure, especially when it is a question of larger or some coherent goods.
In other cases, however, namely when conveying finely divided material such as ash, sand and gravel, the screw does not always work perfectly in the area of its front and / or rear parts. Here and below, "front" and "rear" refer to the conveying direction of the screw and not to the direction of travel.
At the rear end of the screw a bed of finely divided garbage collected between the screw and the housing and could not be moved. The garbage also stuck to the back of the case. This made it more difficult to empty the vessels. At the front end of the screw it was found that when the screw end the material under great pressure z. B. through the right half of the housing mouth pressed into the container, some of the goods returned through the left half of the mouth.
In both cases, these disadvantages are due to the fact that the distance between the screw and the housing was too large. An improvement in this regard would be achieved by increasing the diameter of the entire screw, but then, on the other hand, large objects in the refuse could be clamped between the screw and the housing at the front edge of the pouring opening.
and besides that, the compaction of the garbage would be reduced. It should also rarely be possible, please include to use special collection containers for garbage of various types.
According to the invention, an improvement is achieved in that the minimum distance between the surface of revolution generated by the rotating screw and the housing, measured in a plane perpendicular to the screw axis, is smaller at least at one end of the screw surface than at the front edge of one Viewing opening seen in the housing. Several embodiments are possible here.
At the back, the minimum distance in the axial direction along the rear part of the screw surface can be uniform and then increase in the conveying direction up to the front part of the pouring opening to an approximately even but larger 3-minimum distance, or the minimum distance can increase evenly, e.g. B. because the rear part of the screw surface has a larger radius than the part located at the front edge of the inlet opening, or the diameter or the radius of curvature of the housing can increase within the same area.
At the front end of the housing, the 3 linear distance can be smaller than at the front edge of the pouring opening, e.g. B. be made like this. that in the plane perpendicular to the screw axis the reduced minimum distance only exists along one or more parts of the circumference of the housing. This can be achieved in that the radius of curvature of the housing is larger on one side than on the opposite side,
or on the inside of the housing at its front end there can be arranged rails, flanges or the like running at an angle to the screw axis, for example helically in the opposite direction to the screw surface, which are to be regarded as parts of the housing. The invention is illustrated in more detail in the accompanying drawings using a few exemplary embodiments.
1 shows a schematic representation of a vertical longitudinal section through part of a garbage truck with a filling device, FIG. 2 shows a cross section of the screw according to 11-11 in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of a sheet metal for producing the screw surface and FIG. 4 shows a similar plan view according to another embodiment, FIG. 5 shows a front view of a further embodiment,
6 shows a horizontal longitudinal section through the screw axis according to FIG. 5, FIG. 7 shows a front view and FIG. 8 shows a side view of another embodiment.
A collecting container 1 arranged on the underframe of a motor vehicle has a groove-shaped depression 2 which is inclined backwards against the rear wall 3 of the container filter. This channel is provided with a known emptying device 6 for the dust-free emptying of the garbage from the. Vessel 4 from which the garbage arrives in a tubular, essentially cylindrical housing 7 through a pouring opening 8 provided therein.
A screw conveyor with shaft 9 and screw surface 10 is mounted centrically in the housing. The worm is provided with bearings 1.1 and 12 and is rotated by the motor of the vehicle via a gear 1.3 . For emptying les container 1, the rear wall 3 can aufbeschwerilkt with the whole screw device; will. The housing 7 extends a little further forward than the screw surface, but can also be as long as this.
The rear part 101 of the screw surface is wider than its front part 102, and the transition 103 between the broader and the narrower part of the screw surface is preferably arranged just opposite the center of the opening 8 or slightly behind it. The minimum distance M between the tween the rotating surface generated by the rotating screw and: the housing is at the rear evenly and conveniently as small as it is practically possible, for. B. smaller than 25 mm and preferably about 10 mm, while the minimum distance in plane E is significantly larger, e.g. B. more than 75 mm and preferably about 100 mm or more.
The small diameter in the Be rich: the front part of the opening 8, it enables larger objects to be taken without damaging the conveyor, and that a greater pressure is achieved. This makes it possible for the rear part of the screw to fully grasp and further promote finely distributed rubbish so that the formation of a deposit of rubbish stuck to the housing is prevented.
The friction of the garbage against the housing is reduced and the delivery pressure exerted by the screw it increases. This is particularly true if, according to the exemplary embodiment, the radius of the helical surface is enlarged at the rear, the delivery pressure being distributed over several concentric zones. In all prescribed cases, the minimum distance between the surface of revolution generated by the rotating screw and the housing, measured in a plane perpendicular to the screw axis, is smaller at its rear end than at the front edge of the pouring opening 8, where the plane is denoted by E.
A similar mode of action can also be achieved in that the screw tapers conically along its entire length or part of it, e.g. B. when the form of the flat screw plate shown in Fig. 4 is used, or if the angle between: the screw surface generating line and the screw axis is changed so that the minimum distance between the screw and housing increases forward.
According to Fig. 5 and 6, the front part of the housing is designed such that one half 71 retains the radius of curvature of the rear part, while the other half 72 has a larger radius of curvature, in such a way that the minimum distance to the screw is reduced here .
Most of the waste is pressed into the container between the wall 71 and the screw shaft, and the small distance between the wall 72 and the edge of the screw surface means that the waste does not enter there again, even if the pressure in the container is considerable. It is therefore possible for the snail to press in the garbage under great pressure.
The minimum distance in the plane E in FIG. 6 at the front edge of the pouring opening is greater, however, so that objects are not jammed between said edge and the screw. In the embodiment according to Fig. 7 and 8, a rail 14 is attached to the housing in the front part of the housing 7, which is bent in a screw shape in the opposite direction to the screw surface 10, and is to be regarded as part of the housing.
In this case, the minimum distance M between the surface of revolution generated by the rotating screw and the rail 14 attached to the housing is smaller at the front end of this area than at the front edge of the pouring opening. Several such rails can also be distributed along the circumference of the housing. These cause the garbage to be screwed into the container under increased pressure and the possibility of the garbage re-entering the housing to the side of the front tip of the screw surface is reduced at the same time.
Such a return can also: be counteracted by the fact that the mouth of the housing tapers slightly around the screw or at least on one side of the screw, which also causes a concentrated pressing effect, or that the housing is close to the mouth of which attaches a flange or the like directed inwards and against the mouth of the housing.
Although: the illustrated exemplary embodiments show an exposed screw conveyor. it is also possible that the worm shaft runs through the entire container and is supported at its front end.
