Pantographs on vehicles of trackless electric railways with multi-pole catenary. The subject matter of the present invention is a pantograph for vehicles from silent electric railways with multi-pole overhead lines.
This pantograph is characterized in that it has a rocker support carrying several rockers and at least two connecting links between this rocker support and the vehicle, at least one of these connecting links supporting the rocker support rotatably and wherein the connecting members work together so that in any position of the pantograph the rockers in the perpendicular projection to the road are necessarily approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle when this is parallel to the contact wire.
The accompanying drawing shows, for example, an embodiment of the subject invention.
Fig. 1 is a side view of a single pole pantograph; Fig. 2 is the plan of it with the contact line vertically above the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, while dash-dotted lines drawn net offset parallel to the vehicle longitudinal axis and the pantograph is drawn deflected.
The current collector consists of a formed as a current collector rod 1 with rod end 2 and rotatably ge superimposed on the vehicle connecting member which carries the rocker support 3 rotatably.
At both ends of this rocker support 3 are two mutually isolated, rotatably ge superimposed and transversely to the vehicle longitudinal axis ver slidable rockers 4 are arranged. 5 is a contact head of the rocker. 6 are two further connecting links, which can consist, for example, of two rods or two connecting links that can only be subjected to tensile stress,
their points of application on the rocker support and on the pantograph foot 7 are different from those of the rocker support wearing the connecting link. It can also be seen only one link 6 before that can take tensile and compressive forces, so is a linkage. The connecting lines of the points of application of these connecting links 6 on the rocker support 3 and on the pantograph foot 7 form a parallelogram.
Theoretically, the points of attack on the pantograph foot would have to be placed higher than drawn, namely in the plane of the pantograph rod and the rocker support so that no tensile and compressive stresses occur when the pantograph is pivoted in the connecting members. This inaccuracy can be countered by elastic means in the connecting links 6.
8 is a rocker spring which presses the rocker against the contact line 12. Furthermore, the rocker carrier 3 still has two pins 9 with lateral play, for the purpose of mounting the Wip pen 4, and two adjusting rings 10. 11 are designed as springs return means, which act transversely to the vehicle axis and return the rockers 4 to the starting position, if the latter, the respective differences in the contact wire distances fol lowing, were laterally deflected from this position.
The mode of operation of the pantograph is as follows: If the contact line 12 is located vertically above the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the rocker support 3 is perpendicular to the contact line 12 and to the pantograph rod 1.
As a result of the relative movement from vehicle to contact line occurring in the company, the pantograph rod 1 can, for example, come to the position shown in phantom in FIG by the co-operation of the connecting links 6 and 1, the connecting links 6 forming two sides of a parallelogram.
It can now be seen from Fig. 2 without further ado that as a result of the cooperation of their length constant connec tion members 6, the current collector rod 1 and the rocker support 3, the rockers 4 arranged vertically on the rocker support 3 in any position of the pantograph in the vertical Projection to the roadway will necessarily remain approximately parallel to the vehicle's longitudinal axis if this is paral lel to the contact wire. This is necessary to ensure that the rockers can draw current properly.
